The Wedding of Remus Lupin and Morgan Prince (All Invited)

Luna stood in front of the mirror in her new blue DRESS that Belledona helped her pick for Morgan and Remus' wedding. She could only imagine how nervous her best friend was. She twirled a strand of her now curled hair as she chewed at her lip. She slipped on her heels and grabs her bag, glancing back to only pause. Today is a good day...Aurora would want me to be happy. No one knows and that is good. No one asks. Kronos knows...He does not ask. Today will be filled with smiling...hopefully. My mind told me and i sighed. I walked out to see Kronos. I leaned up and kissed his cheek. I rubbed the lip stick smudge off his cheek and I linked arms with him. I said goodbye to Belledona and breathed deeply. Time to see people after the event. Pull your courage up...Don't let it hang on the floor, that's not what you were raised up for. I commanded myself. 

We arrived at the wedding and I breathed deeply. I sent Kronos off to talk to people after a little peck on the lips and I found the bridal room. I knock softly on the door and fiddle with my necklace, enjoying the comforting clicking.

Azaria hadn't been very close friends with Remus or Morgan, though she had seen them both around school. She was still a bit surprised that she was invited to their wedding, but she couldn't turn the offer down. She had never been to a wedding before, so she wasn't entirely sure what she was supposed to wear, but whatever it was she had to make it. She couldn't afford to buy a fancy dress, but she did manage to gather enough money to buy a nice pair of HEELS. She listened to them click against the sidewalk as she walked to the ceremony. She wasn't sure if she would know anyone there, but it was a good opportunity to be social. It made Azaria a little bit nervous, but she knew she could handle it. She needed to make more friends.

She arrived at the ceremony and wandered around, trying to look like she was doing something. she found herself admiring the decorations quietly.

Morgan stood in a white satin robe looking at the closet that held her dress. Today was the day.... It was unbelievable... At the knock on her door she answered, "Door's open! Come in, unless your the Groom!" Morgan let out a small giggle at her own joke.

Sirius stood tall, adjusting his collar, as James and Peter walked with him. Mrs Potter had picked the clothes all the boys would be wearing, and they couldn't even dare to say no. And why should they say no, since those suits and tuxedos were so elegant and comfortable. Even Peter, for once, felt as if he was attractive. As the boys stepped forwards, Sirius glanced back and forth, before turning to the boys, "Guys, get in position. I'm gonna go talk to Remus." James and Peter nodded with a smirk. It was their brother's day, and they couldn't be happier. They both walked around, admiring the decoration, as one other girl, whom James identified as Azaria, did the same.

Sirius slowly walked past some of the guests, as others had yet to arrive. Mr and Mrs Potter had also came, as they couldn't miss little Remus's wedding. Arriving at the door of Remus's quarters, Sirius slowly, but firmly, knocked on it, sighing with relief. He at least wanted to see how his wolf was before he entered the slave life...

Morana entered the place and mischievous smile appeared on her face. It was as cold as the snow on the groud, but there was also something else. She was happy Remus and Morgan found each other. It was clear in her eyes. She chose purple winter dress for this day. As a married woman, she didn't want to wear anything too formal. As a proper pureblood lady, she chose specialy designed short DRESS to show her ellegance but also not get too much attention. With Rabastan behind her back, as her escort, she looked around for Remus. She wanted to talk to him first and than go to give Morgan her best wishes and also her present.

Lily was late. As always. in her DRESS she didn't really like, but was the only thing she could find in her closet, she hurried to the wedding and quickly looked around for James in hope he won't be mad.

Luna couldn't help but feel better at the voice of her best friend. She opened it and stepped in, her dress trailing the floor. ''Hey Morgan..'' She said softly and steps closer to Morgan, wrapping her arms around her sister of her heart's small frame. She admired Morgan. She looked like a delicate girl but on the inside, is one of the strongest people Luna knew. She takes Morgan's hands in hers. ''How are you feeling?'' She asks with concern flashing in her star burst eyes that seemed to be more grey today than anything.

Morgan looked to the door as it opened and Luna, her sister at heart, entered. She beamed with happiness as she returned the hug. With a small sigh, Morgan nodded, "I feel pretty good. Full of butterflies...." Morgan smiled as again she was reminded that today was the beginning of a beautiful adventure with a wonderful man. "I still can't believe it's here.... Already!" she said squeezing Luna's hands in hers.

Luna smiled, despite herself, but seeing her best friend so happy made her happy. ''Well there's always the after math of the Wedding to get ya happier.'' She teases with a little wink. This is the first time she's been able to let herself go and it was all for Morgan. ''Time flies i suppose.'' She grins. ''This place looks incredible. Best part, apart from the actual wedding, is that it's winter. Christmas Eve in fact! Which reminds me.'' She winks and grabs her bag, pulling out a small music BOX. She smiled and spun the key, a soft lullaby began playing. Luna began to sing along.

Once Luna finished, a click was heard and Luna lifted up the lid to reveal a RING. ''It's so you always remember me...'' She says softly with a small smile. She places it in Morgan's hands and touches her friend's cheek softly. ''I'm so happy for you, Morgan. He best treat ya like the angel ya are.'' She smiles at her.

Morgan listened to the music box and Luna sing as the song played. It was wonderful and so fitting for this time of year. As Luna placed the ring in Morgan's hand, her heart softened. "I could never forget you, Luna. Not ever!" she said as Luna touched her cheek. "Remus will. If he doesn't, I don't think it's just you he will have to worry about," Morgan mused. Then she remembered she had something for Luna as well. "Here, Luna. This is for you, not just for Christmas, but for being my sister," she said and handed Luna a purple leather box, inside of which was a RING. "So we will always be together," she said happily.

Luna nods. ''I know but it's always..helpful to have something before a simply person can fade.'' She says gently with a small smile. ''I'll be his main worry, trust me. I'm stronger than i used to be. I've taken up most of my time with training and working out.'' She winks and laughs lightly. She gasps at the beauty of the ring and wraps her arms around Morgan. ''It's beautiful...thank you.'' She places it on her finger amongst the other two rings. She touches them softly and smiles. ''I love it. Thank you so much. Do you think it's nearly time to get you all beautiful for your husband to be?'' She says and tilts her head. ''Salazar...Where is Marvolo? I have not seen her in..a very long time.'' She says in a dreamy like voice that reminded her of Aurora. She snapped out of it and puts on a smile.

"I love you, too," Morgan said as she pulled Luna in for a hug. At her words of time to get ready, the butterflies exploded inside her. Releasing her sister, she smiled brightly and nodded, "I guess you're right." At the question of Marvolo, Morgan shook her head. "I don't know. I've seen her here and there, but not recently. She is coming, isn't she?" Morgan asked no knowing if Luna knew the answer or not.

Luna smiles. ''Of course i'm right. I'm me.'' She teases and nods. ''Of course she is. She wouldn't miss this for the world!'' She exclaims. She looks around the room and then back at Morgan. ''You're getting more nervous, aren't you?'' She asks, concerned.

"Of course I'm getting ore nervous," Morgan said with a bright smile and laugh, her grey-blue eyes showing both nerves and calm. "But, I'm glad you're here. I'm glad that Marvolo will be here. That helps," she added. Perhaps, he would come and see her for the big moment. "Shall we wait for her to get started?" Morgan asked, glancing towards the door.

Luna shakes her head, a soundless laugh coming from her. ''I wouldn't miss this day for the world...I apologize that my sisters could not be here.'' She says softly. ''Skyla wished she could've seen you today but Astra needs her right now.'' She then tilts her head, nodding. ''Yes we should. I'm sure Marvolo has something prepared for today.'' She says in a light tone, smiling.

Selena quickly brushes the wrinkles out of her dress and then links her arm through Severus' as they step into the room. "I'm so excited!" she whispers to him, her eyes taking in the beautiful decorations. "My first wedding. I wonder what kind of dress your cousin will wear. I'm sure she will look so beautiful."
She had always pictured her own wedding to be very classical with a white gown.

Smirking slightly at his girlfriend's enthusiasm, Severus walked her into the room where the wedding would take place. It was still hard for him to believe that his little cousin would be actually getting married, to one of the Gryffindors no less, but he was determined to support her in this decision.
Afterall, Morgan would know if she could trust Lupin or not.

Leaning down to Selena, he told her in a hushed whisper to wait here for him while he went to search for his cousin. He knocked at the door leading to the bride's room and waited patiently to be called in.

Luna heard a knock and smiled at Morgan. ''I'll get it.'' She kicks off her heels and walks over to the door. She opens it, peaks through and smiles. ''Oh hello Severus. Come in...'' She opens it more and smiles at Morgan. ''It's Severus, Morgs. Do you wish to be alone?'' She asked with a tilted head.

Morgan looked up and at the door when he heard a faint knock. When Luna announced that it was Severus, a smile lit up her face. "Ummm.... You can stay, unless he's rather have a moment alone," she said timidly. She was happy to know her cousin had come to see her on this special day. She tightened the sash of her robe and waited for him to enter.

Severus wasn't overly surprised to see the Hufflepuff open the door for him, knowing that Luna was quite good friends with his cousin.
Nodding his thanks, he entered the room and smiled at the bride. "You look great Morgan." he told her honestly, his voice warm for a change. Turning to Luna with an apologetic expression, he asked her for a short moment of privacy with his cousin, then he walked over to Morgan. "So, the day has finally arrived and you'll become Mrs. Lupin. That will take some time getting used to.." Severus said only half-jokingly.

Morgan blushed at Severus' comment. "It's nothing special. Just waiting for my other girl to arrive and we can get underway with my transformation," she said sitting on one of the many padded benches in the room. She motioned for him to sit if he liked and smiled, her eyes bright. "It is going to be something to get used to.... I still can't believe the day is really here," she said with a small sigh. Looking away she said, "I'm nervous...."

Luna bows her head respectively and leaves the room. She runs a hand through her hair and finds a small glass of wine. She sips it and finds Kronos. She puts her arm around his and stands by his side. Resting her head against his arm, she had a good view of everyone in the room.

Severus sat down next to his cousin and looked at her thoughtfully. "I'm sure everything will go just as you had planned and this will be a day for you to gladly remember." he said amiably, then his expression turned serious again. "Morgan ... is this wedding with Lupin really what you want?" he asked her. He still thought it was a bit too soon for them to get married, after all the back and forth with Black last year. "I know you love him and I'm sure he loves you too... I just don't want you to get disappointed in the end."

As Severus' change of tone, she looked at him. "It is. As soon as it seems, this is something I'm sure of," she said simply. Her eyes turned slightly sad, "You know, I moved in with him and his family before school started. Something Father said to him before he gave his blessing, of sorts, made me think about this. He told Remus that, even though he didn't agree with his blood stauts, he knew that Remus could protect me better than he could." Morgan dropped her eyes, "And, I believe it. I feel safer with him then I've ever felt before.... In a time of questions, you have to find what you know is certain and hang onto it for as long as you can...." Morgan began to feel a lump in her throat as she spoke. "It's all you can do...." she said softly, a quiver in her voice.

Morgan's words rang true and Severus could feel the wisdom of them deep in his heart. Especially in times like these it was important to live in the here and now and to find what was good for you. Obviously the Gryffindor was good for his cousin and he had no doubt that the werewolf would protect her most fiercely.
"I'm glad to hear you say so and if you are certain in this, I shall not question your judgement." Severus smiled and reached over to squeeze her hand slightly. "I don't think we will ever be the best of friends but for your sake, my dear cousin, I will try my best to get along with him. And now cheer up again, it is your wedding day and it is positively illegal for the bride to look so sad", he told her and winked, trying to lighten the mood again.
