Moran smiled and squeezed Morana's hand. "Thanks, Morana. I'm sure you're right," she said, her eyes bright with the hope that one day he would appear... "I love our little talks, you know," she said lightly.

"I love them too," Morana said happily. "It makes me feel at least a bit like..." she left that sentence unfinished. What would she say? Like human? Like she could be happy? Like she isn't going to hell after he dies? Like she is just a normal girl? It was all truth, but Morana couldn't bring herself to say those word out loud. What was wrong with her lately. She opened herself to Remus, she didn't want to lose Morgan. She was different.

"A bit like what?" Morgan asked, looking at her friend. There was something different about Morana since the events of late have occured. Something.... But Morgan couldn't put her finger on it.

"You know," Morana said. "You saw it. You saw Rabs," she added to lead Morgan the right way.

Morgan thought a moment about what Morana was saying. Of course she saw Rabastan... She saw him a lot... But then it hit her. Morana didn't just mean that Morgan saw Rabastan. Morgan saw him. Saw more than just him, more than the darkess. Morgan saw his light. She looked at Morana and smiled, "I see your light, too, Morana. It's there, not matter how small it might be. It's nothing to be ashamed of."

"It's not being ashamed. It's about not wanting to scare you off," Morana said. "Truth is I am most likely far much worse person than Rabs and yet still, I am too selfish to lose you," she explained how she felt. She was honest, there was no reason not to be.

Morgan swallowed at hearing that Morana would consider herself to be much worse than Rabastan. She didn't want to give her false hope, but she didn't want to push her away either. "I may not agree with what you see, want, or do," she bagan carefully, "That doesn't mean I can't see that there is some good in you, Morana." She turned and looked out the window. "I wondered sometimes why you were kind to me, someone so different from you. And, I don't know the answer.... I might never know.... But, I'm going to hold on for as long as I can to our friendship," she looked at her, eyes bright with promise. "Not everyone can be what everyone wants," she said.
