The Act of War (Invited only) Empty The Act of War (Invited only)

Morana apparated to the outskirts of the small village. Hidden in the darkness of woods, she wantech peacefully sleeping wizarding village. People here were one of not many good ones still living in this god forsaken, rotten place. She had hard time understanding why would somebody hold onto place so hard despite the odds. But they kept saying it was their home. And that they still loved it. Feeling she herself never knew. And under normal circumstances, she wouldn't bother caring about this at all. But she finally caught up with that mysterious group of people, who called themselves witch hunters. People, that indirectly stopped her sisters heart from ever beating again. And Morana was not forgiving person. Not when it came to her family. So for tonigh, she was on the good side. Just for tonight.

Waiting for the others, she scanned the area for intruders. It did not take long for them to appear and she had to smirk under her mask. She hated the fact that they didn't know much about this group and their weapons. It was only for that, that she invited only the immortals for this party. But now she could tell they didn't know enough either. Only a fool would attack at night, in time when the worst of witches and wizards walk out in the open and search for something to ease their constant bloodlust. And that was good. They won't know what hit them, die in terror and their heads will be perfect example of fate awaiting all of their kind. Hearing a crackling noise, she turned her head slightly to see who joined her.

Amber had never felt anything particularly negative toward muggles. Why should she? They'd never done anything to her and it was unlikely that they could. So she didn't understand why a group of obviously unintelligent muggles would try to attack the Wizarding population. Of course, she could figure that they knew about their world because of Squibs or their Muggleborn relatives, so it wasn't all the muggles, but it probably didn't help that Voldemort was a little less careful when it came to the Statute of Secrecy.

She didn't hesitate about answering the call, apparating a couple of miles from the meeting point and walking the rest of the way. She could she a dark figure, and she instantly knew it was Morana. "Do you expect many?" she asked, forgoing a greeting and getting straight to the point. She knew that this would be a massacre- these so called Hunters had no idea what was coming for them, but she was curious as to how many idiotic muggles thought they could handle this fight.

Morana turned back towards the village the moment she recognized the first to join her was the youngest member of the group she assembled. "At least ten. They like to jump in more at one. Cowards hiding behind uncoordinated power of many. Should be easy task," she replied casually, her eyes monitoring the village. She could really use the others to join them. Not that her and Amber could not do it alone. But Morana was in a mood for a party.

Marvolo stood quietly as she watched the muggles who had taken it upon them to harm there people. She had fury coursing through her veins but on the outside she was quiet, showing only the calm before the storm. "they killed a wizard family last week" she said in a low voice "they barely had time to grab there wands before they were blown to hell. the muggle minister has stopped trying to control them."

Amber wondered if this is what muggles felt like, being targeted because they were not wizards. It was a strange turn of events, but she also knew that they couldn't have all of the information. They couldn't possibly know what they were up against. The group wasn't going to be large, and even Amber alone, a new vampire who had only just graduated school, would have been able to take them. But she figured that this wasn't only about stopping them and making a point. A very bloody point, most likely. She nodded a greeting to Marvolo when the woman joined them, and said, "what now?"

Morana did not pay attention to the conversation. It was time to go and so she just waved towards her companions and in her raven form, flew into the village. Following two of the hunters, she landed on the open window of one of the houses and made a noise just as they were about to stab the lady of the house in front of her tied down children. "What's this bird doing here? I thought crows avoid people," said the first one. "Ignore it," said the othe one, but the first one did not let go. "Hush," he stated, making gestures in order to send Morana away, but instead, she pierced his hand through with her claw. His scream would probably wake up the whole village, but Morana was ready for that and used silencio charm as she turned into her human form, stopping him just in time. "Hello boys," she greeted the two as they stood in shock.

Marvolo smirked as she watched Morana flying through the people, her keen eyes watching the shock that registered on there faces as the bird turned to the tall dark woman that was her twin. Marvolo followed using her vampirc speed she was beside Morana, wearing identical dark clothing and silver masks, the only difference was that Marvolo wore a wolf. One word rippled through the group gathered, "witches!"

That word made Morana smirk. She remembered how kids at orphanage used to call them this way and it never meant anything good. But she wasn't little girl anymore. She knew better, she really was a witch this time. And she felt like the men in front of her should pay for crimes of every single muggle who ever hurt her for what she was. So, naturally, the moment one of them decided to run at her with a knife, she caught his hand midair, crushing it inside with her vampire strenght. She watched with smile as the face of her enemy changed with pain he felt. And she also registered other hunters stepping one step back, because just as she suspected, this type of strenght probably wasn't on their list of possible magical happenings.

Forcing the man to lie down on the ground, she pointed her wand at him, casting silent crucio as she watched him in pain. That was aparently way too much for another hunter, who decided to run at her too, but seconds later fell to the floor with bloody hole in his chest, just where heart was supposed to be. The heart Morana now held in her hand and licked as she kept torturing his terrified friend. It was somewhere around that time, when another hunter came to see what was taking the other ones so long and found himself shooting at the twins in sudden shock and panic. That did cause Morana to stop the curse and look at new person in the room. "Was that supposed to hurt?" she asked, standing as if none of the three bullets in her body bothered her.

Amber stayed back a moment, watching everything but waiting for the right time. It was a little home, hardly noticeable, from which she could here childish screams. Had the baby woken, or was someone in there? She didn't know, but she ran anyway, slipping through the nursery window. The child was screaming, not because someone was there, but because the room echoed the sounds from outside. The poor thing was terrified. She gently shushed the baby, stroking it's cheek gently, before continuing into the house. Wands and guns were drawn as two groups faced of against one another in the kitchen, the table between them doing little to keep the others' assaults at bay.

Barely sparing a glance at the young couple who were obviously the baby's parents, she offered a smirk toward the two men with their guns firing. "I like manners," she said as she approached them, her silent footsteps having left her unnoticed for a moment, "you don't have any, do you?" One moment she was on the other side of the room and the next she had one of the guns held between her pale fingers. The other was now aimed on her, shooting fruitless lead bullets that damaged her clothes but did nothing to her skin. "I would give you some advice if I thought you would be returning to your people tonight," she told the other, before taking the first man's arm and gripping it tightly. "Now, I think you should apologise," she said forcefully, her fingers gripping tighter with heavy word, "for your rudeness. Keeping these people from their baby.. tsk."

"Release me, witch," the man growled, trying to break free of get grip, which only caused his arm to twist to an even more painful level, "there are more of us than there are of you tonight. You'll be sorry."

Amber laughed, like his words were the most hilarious thing she'd ever heard, and said, "three of us is enough to make this fun. One would have been enough to destroy you without it." She took his index finger and held it in her other hand. "Was this the one you planned to use to take that woman's life?" she asked, not really seeking an answer as she tore the digit from his hand. The man screamed, and it sounded eerily similar to the child down the hall. "I think I'll use it to kill you," she whispered, "Sleep tight." The man fell to the ground, moving feebly before stilling, the bloody end of his own finger still visible protruding from this his torn throat.

Her gaze shifted to the second gun man, who's bullets had continued to rain over her but she has stopped noticing. "You too?" she asked, a feral smile on her face as she took slow steps toward him.

Marvolo allowed her sister to take center stage, watching as she tore the heart from a man. A woman came screaming from the back room, a name that could only be the name of the man who now lay dead on the floor on her lips. Marvolo appeared behind the woman,  arm around her waist like a lover, her sharp nails digging into the woman's stomach. "Your man?" she cooed mockingly "husband" the woman croaked and Marvolo laughed. With her free hand she stroked the woman's hair "oh my dear, do you know why we are doing this?" she asked "because your the devils whores!" she shouted kicking and trying to get free, but in marvolo's arms the thrashing was pointless.

"That we are, but we are doing this for revenge." she replied as she spun the woman out of her arms and threw her to the floor and drew her wand. The woman sprawled onto the floor while a man spat "Revenge?! For what!?" he looked at the twins with pure hatred in his eyes, "For every witch or wizard you have murdered of course" Marvolo said simply before turning back to the woman. She uttered the sectumsempra curse and the woman erupted with cuts all over her frail human body as her blood covered the floor.

The man stood frozen in shock as he emptied entire gun into what seemed fragile body of dark haired witch. He could see her blood, her clothes ruined, but she still stood there, as if nothing had just happened, giving him strange curious look, that gave him shivers. His teammate seemed to finally recover enough from pain to try and stab this woman again, but for Morana he was used toy she did not want anymore and so when he used all his remaining strenght to get up and stab her, she briefly looked down, letting go of now cold dead heart she grabbed his head with her bloody hands and snapped his neck in one fast, single motion.

"Ordinary people bore me," she said finally as she took a few lazy steps towards the last living hunter in the house. Terrified from what he just witnessed, he started taking steps back. "You seem very distressed. Is it me? I'm sorry," she said, changing her face into the vampire one and making sure he saw her teeth. "It's a shame you know, if you weren't my dinner, you could have told others, that there are very special kinds of us. But then again, you are my dinner, and my dinner never walks away," she whispered into his ear as she moved towards him in her speed and held his neck. "Shhh," she mocked him just before her teeth sank into his neck, sucking him dry. "There are some more in the village," she said  towards Marvolo as the dead body fell to the floor. With that, she grabbed hands of two of the dead, dragging them out of the house. they will need them later for the display.

Amber smirked at the man dropped his gun and put his hands in the air. Was he tried to surrender? Oh dear.. It had been obvious that round after round of ammunition had been a giant waste to be used on her and perhaps he was giving up. She continued her stalk toward him, slow and leisurely as it was, until she was a mere foot away. "I hate a lack of manners," she said, her tone completely casual, "but I had a coward even more." She didn't take her time, she lunged and within second had his trachea in her hand. She held it forcefully in front of his dying eyes as his brain depleted of oxygen. Then she released her grip on his shoulder, letting him fall with a hard thud to the kitchen floor. She dropped the section of his windpipe on his chest before turning to the young couple.

Her smile was kind as she approached and she couldn't blame them for their fear. She could still hear their baby in the other room, and she gently took both of their arms and lead them to their child. "Take your baby and return to bed. Silence the room, and rest. You will be safe come morning," she told them, her tone soothing. Dropping a kiss on each of their foreheads, she turned to the cot and gently brushed her hand over the baby's cheek. She kissed it's cheek as well before slipping back to the kitchen where she roughly grabbed the two men.

She left through the front door, a trail of blood behind her as she dragged their lifeless bodies through the streets, listening out for others. Amber didn't have to wait long at all, and soon enough a small group had gathered around her, guns aimed for her head. She released her grip on the dead men, and smiled. "But I'm just a girl," she said, her false tone of innocence obvious to anybody. Two men, one woman, and although she would've liked to enjoy killing them all she moved fast as she sent one of the men flying at a speed that would undoubtedly cause his death when he collided with the fountain of the main square, and to other she went the more simple route. She grabbed his head, wrapped her legs around his waist and pulled until the two parts of him were no longer joined together.

The woman's gun shook only slightly, but she didn't run. She fired, over and over, as Amber approached her. The red head wrapped her fingers in the woman's hair and ripped the gun from her hands, tossing it aside carelessly. "I do like blondes," she whispered, grinning as she finally allowed herself to take one of these 'witch hunters' as her meal. The drained, but still pretty face of the woman joined her comrades in a neat line in the centre of the square and Amber sat politely on the edge of the fountain to await either the twins or the sounds of more idiotic flith that actually thought they might succeed.
