Christmas dinner (Legion, Thane, Dragon, Kronos, Hades, Luna, Skyla, Belledonna, Cian and Jocelyn) (closed)

Jocelyn was in the kitchen looking how the house elves were preparing dinner for them. Hades got them for two days and only for preparing dinner. They gave Jocelyn a whole plate of Christmas cookies, Jocelyn was fascinated by them as they were preparing food and it smelled delicious. It was late in the morning and the other awoke around this time. This was Jocelyn's first Christmas with her real family and she had been shopping for everyone. Today was also the day that Cian would come and stay with them.

Belledona wrapped her SCARF around her neck and smiled as she looked at her engagement ring. It shone bright in the sunlight and she walked over to the window to see the snow falling fast. She put her bracelet on as like a surprise gift for Jocelyn. The snowflake charm was covered in diamonds and she couldn't wait to give it to the little girl that cried in her arms. ''Luna! Sky! Hurry up. I'm sure ya wanna see your boys just as much as i wanna see my fiance!'' Belledona shouted with a teasing tone and her stomach leaped as she said the world fiance. It still seemed so surreal. She slipped on her boots and walked down the stairs with a massive grin.

Skyla awoke that morning with a grin plastered on her face. She had a great time with Legion at school but that was school. Now they could do whatever they want and not be judged. She skipped around the house until she passed Aurora's room. She stared into it and cried for a good ten minutes before she dragged herself away. She put on her jeans and grabbed her SWEATER after seeing the snow fall down hard onto the ground. Hearing Belledona shout, she shakes her head chuckling. ''Coming, Miss Impatient! Luna? Come on, Hun! Ya can't stay in there forever. Kronos is probably worrying about you...Please just come out...'' Luna took the loss of Aurora the hardest as she was there to see it. Skyla heard Luna mumble that she's coming and she hopped downstairs, leaning against the wall as she put on her shoes.

Luna heard the shouts of her sister and godmother whilst she sat on the bed holding a moving picture of her and Aurora, laughing and dancing around. A tear dropped onto the frame and she slammed it onto the bed. Pulling on her sweater and jeans, watching out for the large rips. Doing her make up, she ruffles her hair and places on her HAT. Breathing deeply, she placed on two necklaces. One signifying Aurora and the other her. She turns her back to the mirror and looks over her shoulder to see her new tattoo was on full show. She smirked and nodded. She heard Belledona shout and then Skyla reply. ''Coming.'' She mumbles. Walking downstairs, she passes Skyla and shakes her head at her as she tries putting on shoes. ''You know, you could've just waited until you got downstairs and you call Belle impatient.'' She smirks and stands next to Belledona.

The girls linked arms and walked over to the Grimm manor. Skyla and Belledona, as unison, knocked on the door as Luna's dark clothed figure stood behind Belledona emitting an odd shyness that was rare of Luna. Her dyed blonde hair was the only thing that seemed to glow on the sunny winter day. She held Skyla's hand tightly and they all waited to be let in. This was Luna's first appearance out of school in a while and she really did not wish to be a downer at a christmas dinner with her silence and sadness that emitted from her.

Today was the day... Cian walked up the path leading to Grimm Manor, ruck sack tossed over his shoulder in one hand and the other in his JACKET pocket. He had bade his family a happy holiday before his father had appareated to the location just beyond the walk to where Jocelyn instructed him to be. He hadn't seen her since the summer party, and he had missed her dearly. He wondered if she had changed much in that time. Cian had grown taller, broader in the shoulders, and more muscular in his build.
 
When he reached the halfway point to the stoop at the front door, Cian spotted a small group already standing on the stoop. Seeing the bunch, he right away recognized Skyla, from his own house. The other youth, though, he thought he knew. Getting a closer look at her face, he knew her as Luna, the Triwizard Champion from last year. Raising his pocketed hand in a wave, he called, Irish accent thick on his words, "Happy Holidays, Ladies. Fancy meeting you all here!"

Skyla looked around to see Cian, she knew he was from her house and she smiled. Another familiar face! She walked over and wrapped her arms around Cian. ''Hey Cian! Happy Christmas. Yeah i'm here 'cause this is my boyfriend's home.'' She said with a faint blush. ''Oh this is my godmother, Belledona. Fiance of Thane.'' She introduced, pointing to Belledona with a smile.

Luna turned slowly as a familiar face and she tilted her hair thinking about who it was. She then grabbed Skyla's hand as she remembers the tasks. She bows her head with respect. ''Hello Cian. Been a long time, hasn't it?'' She says in her hoarse voice. She tried speaking as little as possible and she hugs Cian tightly. She looks back at the house whilst Belledona said Hello.

Cian set his sack down as he hugged Skyla. "Fancy that. My girlfriend lives here," he said with a wink and a crooked smile. Shifting his attention to Luna, he returned the gentle bow and hugged her tight. Even though they hadn't bonded much last year, their bond as champions tied them together forever. Releasing her, he answered, "Indeed it has. Quite some time." He noticed the change that had taken Luna and wanted to ask, but hearing the roughness in her voice as she spoke, chose not to. Something bad happened.... So make her not speak and change as she has.... Luna would speak of it when she was ready.... His eyes then fell on Belledonna. With a respectful tip of his head, he said, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ma'am. I'm Cian Dawson, good friend to your god-daughters."

Jocelyn heard the doorbell and ran to the front door and opened the door. She had three cookies in her hand and smiled as she saw Luna, Skyla, Belle and her boyfriend Cian. "Hello all, happy holidays." Jocelyn said and let them in. "I don't know if Legion and Kronos are awake but you can grab a bucket with cold water to wake them up." Jocelyn walked up to Cian, smiling brightly and with tears in her eyes, she hugged him tightly, kissing him. "I missed you so much." She said to him.

As the door to the manor opened, Cian's crooked grin spread across his face at seeing Jocelyn. She let the others in and walked to him. "There's my Lassie," he purred. Cian wrapped his arms around her and lifted her up in a tight hug of his own and kissed her back. Holding her close he whispered to her, "I missed ye, too." Setting her down, he dried her cheeks and kissed her forehead. "Happy Christmas, Jocelyn," he said with a wink as he picked up his sack and tossed it over his shoulder. Taking her hand in his free one, he motioned with a tip of his head for them to head inside.

Luna stared down at her hands until the door opened. She looked up and waves seeing Jocelyn, listening to her words. She walks past Belledona and Skyla and rushes to Kronos before people talk to her. She slips into his bedroom and crawls into his bed after taking her shoes off. Curling up in the blankets, not even knowing if Kronos was there.

Skyla watched as Luna walked past everyone. She sighs and turns to Jocelyn. ''Thank you for letting us come for dinner. I apologize for Luna's rudeness. I guess she just missed Kronos and wishes to see him right away...Happy Holidays.'' She watched as Cian held Jocelyn and she quickly grabbed Belledona's hand and took her to the living room before rushing to Legion's room and kicks off her shoes by the door before jumping on his bed.

Jocelyn giggled as Cian picked her up. As he settled her down and grabbed his things, his hand into hers as they walked inside. Hades had given permission Cian could stay the night and as long as he would, he even could sleep in her room but not in the same bed. Jocelyn had rolled her eyes knowing they wouldn't do anything that would concern him but he didn't want to have it. Jocelyn didn't want to have a fight with her brother so she shrugged and let it be. Jocelyn turned to Skyla and gave her a smile. "It's okay, i understand.." Jocelyn watched Cian. "I have made your bed for you at the early morning. Do you want a cookie?" She handed him one of the cookies the house elves handed Jocelyn.

Cian smiled as they entered the manor. This was sure to be one of the best Christmases he'd had in a long time. Looking at Jocelyn he nodded when she told him about her making up his bed. He had laughed when she wrote to him telling how Hades had agreed to let him stay in her room, but only as long as they didn't share a bed. He couldn't blame him, even if Cian had no plans of doing such things with his young girlfriend. "Thanks, Lassie," he said as he took the cookie she offered and took a bite. Kissing the top of her head, he said, "I'm going to put this up there. Be back in a flash." Remembering where he room was, Cian headed up the stairs to drop off his things.

Kronos came flying through the door grappling with Legion. The older twin shoved him pack and speared him over the sofa. The pair rolled across the floor laughing. Kronos slid over to Luna and kissed her, then hugged Mila before resting his head on Luna's lap. "Happy christmas"

 Legion landed in a roll and stood he grinned and waved. He cuddled his sister and then hugged and kissed Skyla he sat with her and held her hand. "Happy Christmas guys"


Dragon came flying in he landed awkwardly and charged through the door, there was loud thud and he came stumbling back with a bleeding nose and a instant bruise he was tackled by Thane who through him against the wall and dented it. He was then punched again before the pair noticed the company. Dragon smiled. "Tradition. Sorry..."


Thane helped him up and the pair grinned. They drew their wands and fixed the wall before sitting on the couch with his uncle. "HAPPY CHRISTMAS CHILDREN I GOT YOU ALL NOTHING" He said be for laughing.

Luna kissed Kronos back and ran her fingers through his hair as he rests her head on her lap. She gives him small pecks on the forehead, whilst staring at him lovingly. She grabs Belledona's bag and pulls out a wrapped PRESENT. She places it on Kronos' chest and smiles down at him. ''Happy Christmas my love..'' She says softly. She shook her head at the antics of Thane and Dragon, feeling herself begin to relax.

Skyla's eyes lit up at the sight of Legion and kissed him deeply, wrapping her arms around his neck. ''Merry Christmas, handsome.'' She smiled brightly. She laced her fingers with his when they sat down and she then took the bag off of Luna, pulling out a long BOX that held Legion's gift. She placed it on Legion's lap and smirks.

Belledona rolled her eyes at Thane and Dragon and then jumps into Thane's arms and kissing him before he can react. She sits herself on his lap and pecks his cheek. ''Hey love!'' She exclaims, nuzzling Thane. She fiddled with her ring and rests her head on her love's shoulder, grinning madly.

Jocelyn rolled her eyes at the sillyness of all the boys. Jocelyn sits on Cian's lap, cuddling with him as she then pouted at Thane. "You didn't buy me a present?" Jocelyn asked him, she was joking but she wanted to tease him.

Cian took the stairs two at a time and walked into Jocelyn's room. Seeing the spare bed set up and made for him, he set his sack down next to it and took his coat off, draping it across the foot of the bed. He opened the sac and took out a small, blue velvet box. Since he was here, why not give his girl her gift now instead of later. Then he could watch see her with it on for longer.

Cian exited her room and took a seat in one of the armchairs in the living room where everyone was seeming to gather. He welcomed Jocelyn to sit on his lap and wrapped his one arm around her back, supporting her. As she pointed at Thane, Cian smirked. "He may not have, but I did," he said bringing his other hand up and held the blue BOX out to her.

Belledona heard Jocelyn's question that she asked Thane and she kisses Thane's cheek. Taking off the BRACELET, she walked over to Jocelyn and kneeled before her after Cian gave her a present. ''He's not the only one who did, my dear Jocy.'' She places the bracelet on her wrist and leans up, kissing Jocelyn's forehead. ''This shall remind you that I am always here for you.'' She murmurs against her forehead. She walks back over to Thane and places herself on his lap.

Jocelyn grabbed the blue box from Cian and looked at him. "Baby you didn't have to do that." Jocelyn said smiling brightly, she opened the blue box and saw a beautiful necklace shaped in a heart, she opened the heart and saw a picture of him. Jocelyn turned around to Cian and hugged him tightly and kissed him. "Thank you so much, i really do love it." As Jocelyn turned around, Belle walked up to her and put a bracelet around her arm and Jocelyn looked at it with tears in her eyes. She couldn't believe that she had two beautiful presents. Jocelyn gave Belle a tight hug. "Thank you very much Belle...I have presents for you all." Jocelyn walked into the hallway and grabbed the bags with presents and walked back to the others. She handed Legion and Kronos a velvet wrapped box. Jocelyn handed Thane and Dragon a red wrapped box, Luna and Skyla she gave them both a purple wrapped box, Hades a green wrapped box, Belle an yellow wrapped small box and Cian and blue wrapped box. "Wait with opening your presents, i want to tell you i love you all very much even though i just get to know you and that is for Skyla and Belle. Now you can open your presents and i hope you like them. For Legion, Kronos, Hades, Thane and Dragon, don't worry i asked Zack to come with me so i could buy this presents with a adult." Jocelyn smirked at them.

Luna watched as Belledona walked over to Jocelyn and kissed Kronos' forehead before walking out. She had dropped her bag by the door and reached into it, pulling out presents. Walking back in, she dropped a box on Jocelyn's lap, one on Thane's and Dragon's. ''I already put Sky's and Belle's presents under our tree so yeah...'' Her small voice emitted from her throat. ''I didn't know you were going to be here Cian...So i'm sorry that i didn't get you anything..'' She apologized with a sad smile.

THANE'S PRESENT ''Thane, if you look at the detail. You see a dragon. Which is why i charmed it so when it hits a target, fire comes out.'' Luna explained softly.

DRAGON'S PRESENT ''Hope you like it, Dragon.'' Luna said softly and walked over to Jocelyn. 

JOCELYN'S PRESENT ''Yours is also charmed, Jocy...If you press the emerald bit, it makes my tattoo sting. Not painful at all but it just tells me if you are in danger or if something is wrong.'' She turns around and shows her the feather tattoo on her shoulder blade. She then sits on Kronos' lap and rests her head against his shoulder.

Skyla watched her sister and then smiled sadly at everyone else. ''Well i barely know ya all so i didn't really get anything and for that, i'm really sorry..'' She sighs and kisses Legion's cheek. ''However i do have Luna's gifts..so yeah..'' She gets up and puts two presents on Luna's lap who frowns.

Luna stroked the gauntlet with a fiery glint in her eyes. She placed it on her other arm as the hidden blade gauntlet was on the other. ''Thanks sister...I'll give you yours the moment we get home...'' Luna's hoarse voice caused a smile to form on Skyla's face as she strokes the bow and arrow. ''They're beautiful...'' She whispers but there was something else in her eyes. Need.

Jocelyn looked how Luna walked away, she looked at Cian with a slight confusion on her face. They didn't say if they liked the presents so Jocelyn assumed that they didn't like it. Jocelyn slowly opened her present from Luna and nodded at her explanation, she liked it very much. "Thanks, it's beautiful Luna." Jocelyn said shyly also because she didn't know how to react.

Jocelyn turned around on Cian's lap and put her head on his shoulder with her face in her neck, wrapping her arms around his neck. She was asking herself if she did the right thing with the presents, she was worried now but didn't dare to ask if they liked it.

Luna then mentally slapped her face and a very faint blush formed on her cheeks. ''By the way, Jocy...I love it...It looks like something Aurora has worn.'' Her name slipped from Luna's mouth and she took Kronos' hand, lacing her fingers with his. The electrifying touch that the touch caused comforted Luna and she buried her face in her love's neck.

Skyla glanced up at Luna for a split second before smiling. ''I love it also, Jocelyn.'' She saw Belledona stare at the present from Jocelyn with a bright happy smile. She clearly loved it.

Jocelyn heard their comments and sighed into Cian's neck in relief. They liked it, but she stayed with her head in Cian's neck just because she felt safe there and she needed a moment for herself before she could face everyone. She really was uncomfortable because she never done this before, she was always in the library reading her books not allowed to come downstairs. Luna spoke about Aurora and Jocelyn thought that Luna didn't told her that Aurora wasn't here at all. Jocelyn slowly pulled away from Cian's neck and looked at Luna. "I'm sorry if i'm rude but what happened with Aurora and is that why you are acting so strange?" Jocelyn asked Luna. Jocelyn didn't know what happened at all and as a friend of Luna's she could be there for Luna if there was something wrong.

Skyla's whole body tensed as she watched as Luna left the room when Jocelyn asked about Aurora. She pulled her knees up to her chest. ''This is not a talk for a christmas dinner...but if you wish to know then so be it. Luna was walking around the castle when she felt a pain in her chest. She remembered Aurora was in the forest with Alex, her boyfriend. She ran over and...there she was. Aurora laid in Alex's arms,'' 

She paused for a bit and clenched her eyes. ''She was dead...Alex killed her. He was about to kill Luna when someone killed Alex. Luna will not say who..in fact she was reluctant in telling us about Aurora. I'm sorry if we put a downer on Christmas but...christmas has never been good for the Valkyrie family. More so on Luna. You see...Our mother was killed on Christmas day. So i guess that's the main reason why Luna is so...strange as you put it.'' She explained with watery eyes. ''Luna simply needs time...Kronos was the first person to know as he found Luna.'' Skyla looks at Kronos and gives him a sad smile, knowing he must feel awful that his girlfriend is slowly dying on the inside.

Jocelyn's eyes widened as Luna walked away. This was a really bad idea and as Jocelyn felt uncomfortable already she felt now really uncomfortable. As Skyla told her about Aurora, Jocelyn tightened her grip on Cian's hand. "I-I-i'm sorry, i didn't know, i wouldn't have asked if i did know it was something serious." Jocelyn pulled up and walked away to the backyard and walked to the pond. and wrapped her arms around her body, she just walked out of the door without any coat or hoodie but she couldn't walk back in for now. She was such a srew up, of course there was something wrong with Luna, how could she not have known that, she asked but she never got an answer. The thoughts raced through her mind as she was now shaking from the cold.

Luna saw Jocelyn walk out and she tilted her at her. ''Sky told you didn't she?'' Her hoarse voice was carried through with wind and she walked over to Jocelyn. She took off her jacket and put it on her shoulders. ''You should've brought a jacket. You know it's cold...'' Her voice vibrated with care. ''I should've told everyone i know...So Skyla didn't have to do it so bluntly on Christmas. She never was one for subtlety. Perhaps that will change one day...'' She muses. ''Don't feel bad for asking, Princessa. It's my fault. I should've said something...I shouldn't have walked out. Forgive me for my...whatever i'm going through.'' She kisses Jocelyn's forehead and hugs her. ''Come...We have a christmas to celebrate.'' She murmurs against her forehead.

a few tears streamed down Jocelyn's cheeks but she wiped them away as Luna pulled the jacket over her shoulders. "I'm sorry, i feel so uncomfortable, i never had a christmas dinner and presents ever in my life and i just wanted to be nice and buy presents with my saved money. I should just leave you all and i just go and read something in the library, i don't want to be feeling awkward." Jocelyn gave Luna back her jacket and walked up to the door.

Luna rolled her eyes and grabbed Jocelyn's wrist, pulling her into a bigger hug. ''So do I, Jocy...I've never really had a fantastic Christmas. Sooo let's suffer together shall we?'' A lopsided grin formed on her face. ''Please don't go...I want to spend Christmas with my family and you're part of that. Pleaseee?'' She pleaded, finally relaxing around someone. Thoughts of Aurora left her and she smiled down at Jocelyn.
