Two Lonely Snakes (Invite Only)

Vixen sat alone in a book next to the fire place of the Leaky Cauldron reading a book she had borrowed from her father's library. During his travels, he had picked up several interesting, old books. School was fast approaching, and all she wanted was a little time away from her hovering mother that did nothing but fuss over her making sure that everything was in order for her return to Hogwarts. Here she had some peace....

Logan walked in to the place looking around he saw a girl the rest of the room was empty so he alked over and ordered a beer, taking it to a table he sat and sipped it in the quite,

Vixen's dark eyes looked up as the door opened and in walked a young man. She thought she knew him as a fellow Slytherin, but she wasn't for sure. After he ordered a drink and sat at an empty table. She figured she'd go say hello. Vixen walked over to the table and stood in a way to cause her hips to slant. "Care for some company?" she asked with a smirk.

Logan sipped his beer and nodded his head to the empty seat. "No not at all please sit." His dark brown eyes glowing as he looked at the girl.

Vixen sat across from him and smiled. "I'm surprised you're here alone. I'm Vixen. Vixen Lestrange," she said softly. "I think we might be in the same house at Hogwarts."

"Indeed we are." He said his voice was as soft as cotton and as smooth as silk they slipped from his mouth. "I am Logan Braveheart brother to Crimson Braveheart." His words poured like silver.

"Pleasure to meet you," she said softly. He was easy on the eyes for sure, and his words.... She'd never heard someone speak that way before. "Your brother is in Gryffindor right?" she asked.

"He is at that." He spoke again almost as if his words were laced with honey sweet to the ear. "And you have family in Slytherin do you not?" He asked.

Vixen propped her head in her hand and nodded. "Yes. I have a few cousins in Slytherin. Really, the whole family, for forever, have been in Slytherin. We are pretty close..." she said. "Sometimes I wonder if there will ever be a Lestrange in another house," Vixen added.

"I was surprised my self when I as placed here." He said remembering his sorting, how he prayed to follow his brother to be in his house the one person he looked up to the one preson that cared about Logan.

"Many in your family sorted into different houses?" Vixen asked. She wasn't surprised that she ended up in Slytherin. Vixen had actually been prepped for that all her life, and when it happened, her parents simply said that they knew it was going to happen.

Logan looked at Vixen. "He is not my brother of blood but of spirit." He said looking back to the beer he was drinking.

"Brother of spirit..." Vixen echoed. She had heard of such things. In a way, that was how Morana and Marvolo were to her. "Bonded brothers from two houses," she purred. "Surely that doesn't effect your bond. Does it?" she asked, her voce dark and mysterious, but smooth as silk.

"Between me and Crimson?" He asked Vixen. "Never, we love fight bleed and die together." He tolder a fire of love and freedom in his silky smooth voice.

Vixen smiled her usual coy smile. "That's a wonderful bond you two have," she said reaching out and trailing a finger gently on his hand. He was strong, she could tell, and that enticed her along with his voice and his words. "I don't have a bond quite like that. Being in girl in the family... Well, I'm the protected to them," she said, her dark eyes glittering in the low light.

Logan's eyes darted to Vixen at her touch he had to stop his reflexes from reaching for the dagger strapped to his leg or the wand in his cloak. "I would not have thought it." He said he knew better than to think anyone helpless or weak that was many's down fall in a battle.

"Well, you would be a first...." Vixen said lightly. "I'm able to fight just as well as the boys, but I'm just....a girl, after all. At least, to my family," she said with a wink. There were many of her friends that knew that Vixen was perfectly capable of holding her own if need be, but being as she was a girl.... Well, that often swayed peoples views when it came to that.

"Girl, boy it makes no difference dangerous is dangerous." He said looking at the hand that she had laid crossed his own. "Tho there are cases the a man should step up not the women."

Vixen watched as his eyes drifted to her hand resting on his and she smiled. "Like when, Logan? Shouldn't a woman be allowed to fight just like a man if she wishes it?" she asked, darkly.

"I guess your right." he said his dark smokey brown/grey eyes drifting up to her face. "But if I were to let you fight and you got hurt or killed I would have to live with it." He said drinking in Vixens dark personality, she was something else and he liked it.

Vixen tilted her head to the side as she commonly did and smiled her coy smile. "But," she started, her dark eyes finding his, "if you were to die in battle, and I could have stopped it, I would carry that with me, too. So, doesn't that make us even?"

'Damn this women.' Logan thought to himself. "I guess you right, so we fight together and destroy anyone that gets in our way." Logan said his silky smooth voice turning to a fire and steel.

Vixen winked at him. "Fair enough for me," she cooed to him. At hearing the change in his voice, a small shiver ran up Vixen's spine. He was a dark and mysterious one, indeed.

Logan had to calm himself for a moment his voice now silky and smooth again he smiled and said. "Indeed so, now tell me why sit by me I am nothing new, I am sure you have come across pleanty more interesting than me,"

Vixen looked around The Leaky Cauldron and motioned for him to do the same. "See anyone else in her that would be good for someone like me to go talk to?" she asked lightly. "Besides, I really just came over to say hi. A handsome guy like you sitting alone.... Nah, you seemed to need the company," she purred.
