Sadness in the mind (closed)

Astra walks to the edge of the lake and sits down on the ledge with a sad expression lain on her pale face. She couldn't handle the loss of Reaper, it hurt way too much. She pulls her knees up to her chest and pulls her blonde hair into a loose bun, leaving some strands to frame her clear blue eyes. She stares at her reflection in the water and see's a girl with deadly pale skin and dull eyes. She scowls at it and looks at the sky instead with a sigh. She hums a random tune she makes up to keep her mind occupied. She looks around to see no one and smiles sadly. As much as she looked like she wanted to be alone, she didn't. She needed someone to just talk to.

Armen and Kurama left the feasts early, heading towards home the young man ran a hand through his companions fur, his eyes watching the shadows. With a nod of his head Kurama brought his attention to the sound of humming "students shouldnt be out" he grumbled to himself before heading towards the lake, taking in the sight of the girl he said "What brings you out to the waters edge my dear"

Astra turns her head to see a man and her dull eyes widen. ''I'm just here for some air sir...J-just to get my mind off of things.'' She says, sadness laced into her words. She gets up off the floor brushing the dirt off of her. ''I find the water calming, Sir...It helps me forget sometimes.'' She explains in a slightly hoarse voice from the crying she did.

Frowning slightly he moved to sit beside her "What troubles you?" he asked as Kurama took up sentry behind them.

Astra tilts her head at him slightly. ''At my school, there was a guy. Drawn to him from the very beginning. The headmistress disliked him with a passion and killed him right in our dining hall. Right in front of me. I can't stop replying the situation in my head...it just hurts, sir.'' She looks at the floor. ''So i'm trying to forget it.'' She sighs sadly.

"Armen" he said as he took in this new information "You may call me Armen" he wrapped an arm around her shoulders offering her comfort. "You must be from wolfclaw then" he looked out at the water, thinking "When I was a young man I loved a girl so completely, she had hair as red as fire and eyes as blue as the sky. She was perfect, one day We ventured into muggle london for a date and I didn't listen when she said she was afraid to go out of the theater alone. I was to busy talking bussiness with someone, when I rounded the corner she was falling to the ground a muggle had slit her throat and stolen her belongings. I still re-play that horror in my mind. Wondering what I could do to save her" he looked down at her and smiled ruefully "But in the end those we have loved and lost are never lost for good."

Astra listens to him and feels him wrap his arm around her. She smiles at the comfort. ''You can't of done anything Armen...It's just one of those things that was meant to happen.'' She sighs and looks up at the man. ''I understand now...He'll always be there but he won't in a sense too.'' She nods slowly, giving a small smile.

"Exactly darling" he said with a nod "And your headmistress is a vampire there is no way you could have saved your boyfriend just keep him in your heart"

Astra grins at him. ''Thank you Armen and yeah she is...I will do that.'' She smiles at him and looks at the water. ''Far apart but close at heart, my sister's used to say whenever we left to go travel around. I shall do that now...'' She smiles.

Dropping his arm, he held out a hand to Kurama who padded over to the two laying his large head in his lap "Do your sisters go to wolfclaw?"

Astra looks at Kurama with a small smile. ''My un-identical twin does. The other two well they're here. They're identical twins.'' She looks up at Armen. ''Luna and Aurora Valkyrie if you have heard of them?'' She says with a small smile.

"I think I may have heard of them, Why would your parents send only you to wolfclaw?" he asked as he stroked the wolf's ears

Astra looks at the floor. ''I don't have parents, Armen. My mother was killed, only Luna was the one to see that and my father abandoned us 6 months before that. Aurora and Luna were the ones that got offered a place here. Me and my Twin, Skyla only got offered Wolfclaw for some reason.'' She sighs and looks at the wolf with a smile.

"Perhaps they saw you were destined for a place greater then this" he said with a smile "though its a pity for you all to be separated, where do you go in the summer?"

''I guess so, Armen. I am not a kind person and i prefer darker things.'' Astra smiles. ''Me and Skyla travel around the world or just go back home. Most likely travel as i hate it in that dismal place...'' She shrugs.

Armen's brow furrowed "A family should stay together" he said sagely

Astra nods. ''That i know but it's hard when you don't have...that glue to keep it together. I don't really mind. I prefer to be on my own and practice my dark arts that i learn at WolfClaw.'' She looks ahead at the water, putting her elbows on her knees causing the moonlight to show more of her face. Her clear blue eyes had little specks of green looking like star bursts which was another reason as to why her mother called her Astra.
