Fresh air 2 (open)

Jocelyn was sitting on a bench in the late afternoon sun, she slipped away from her brothers who didn't leave her out of their sight but she wanted to have the sun shining onto her skin. She sighed she felt better, she had a laughing fit last night with Achilles for the first time since Reaper got killed. 

Jocelyn closed her eyes.

Luna walks around the castle and see's Jocelyn on a bench with her eyes closed. She smiles sadly and walks over to her. ''Jocy...Are you feeling okay? I-I heard about Reaper. I'm so sorry...My sister, Astra...really cared for him and she saw it happen...'' She sits next to her and fights the urge to hug her but she didn't want to make her feel awkward.

Jocelyn opened her eyes by hearing her nickname, she knew that was Luna and she knew she had been pushing everyone but family far away from her. She looked at Luna and saw she was awkwardly shifting next to her and smiled sadly. "Hey Luna, sorry i haven't had the time to talk to you, the boys won't leave me alone, very protective they are." Jocelyn gave Luna a sideways hug. "It's okay i have had gotten the time to say a proper goodbye to him, i have buried him myself." Jocelyn gave another sad smile. "What did you say about your sister again?" She asked Luna.

Luna smiles and hugs back. ''Oh don't worry Jocy really. I completely understand. Boys can be protective...maybe i can take one of them off your hands?'' She blushes meaning Achilles. She still hasn't spoken to him and it made her feel sad. ''That's good and my sister Astra loved Reaper...She cared a lot for him but she never told him. She regrets it and when she saw you all today, she wanted to comfort you all but she's changed. She's darker...harsher. She's closing everyone out except me and my other sisters.'' She looks at the sky with a sigh. ''The pain you feel from losing someone will dull down. Never go...but it will get better. I promise you that...I've lost a lot of people...heck i've killed people accidentally 'cause they did things to me. I still feel guilt..i feel a lot of pain from it but it's dulled down a lot from when it happened.'' She pulls up the bottom of her top to reveal cuts that are now scar's on her hip. ''I went into a dark time and did this to myself. I regret it but i couldn't help it...I even got tattoo's and a belly button piercing 'cause the pain wasn't as bad as what i did.'' She sighs and shrugs.

Jocelyn let the tears stream down her cheeks as she listened to Luna's words. "I know, i saw my grandmother burn to death, the worse thing is it all happened because someone felt like it, it had no actual meaning, if Reaper had killed someone it was for me a different pain inside, i would still miss him but then he did something bad and his death was the punishment he got for it. The same with my grandmother." Jocelyn wiped her tears away and looked up at the sky. "I don't feel anything anymore, to be honest i would go and lie in my dorm and never come out, the awful person who walks here in our school makes my hands form in fists but i know it is not a good idea to do something against her because she is stronger and and i know it will all come back to her, every single kill she did because she felt like it will come back to her and she will burn more than anyone else. Come with me to the boys, i hadn't told them i was going outside and they are more worried about me right now, i can feel it. You can take Achilles and talk to him, Legion and Dante will not leave my sight." Jocelyn said to Luna and grabbed her hand.

Luna wipes her tears and smiles at her sadly. ''It's horrible to see the death of someone you care about...I saw my mother get killed right in front of me..'' She hears her talk about the woman who did this and sighs sadly. ''You can't get revenge...She's a vampire after all. I-I don't know about that...What if Achilles doesn't want to see me? What if he doesn't like me the way i like him? There's loads of possibilities that plague my mind from seeing him...'' She sighs and looks at Jocy grabbing her hand. This causes her to smile and she looks at Jocelyn with tear's threatening to spill. She shakes her head. ''I have no reason to cry...I'm a Valkyrie for Merlin's sake. We do not become weak.'' She grins.

Jocelyn smiled sadly at Luna's comment and pulled her up at the same time as herself. She winked at Luna. "Come on, you can just tell him if he has a moment to talk to you. You just have to try."

Luna winks back at Jocelyn and smirks. ''Oh god...Now i know why i'm not a Gryffindor..'' She laughs. ''I will do this...I can do this...I need to do this...'' She says to herself and grins, a rosy pink blush forming on her cheeks.

Jocelyn smiled. "That's the spirit, you know deep in you he loves you and it was not a good time with the loss but he is still the old Achilles you know him from." Jocelyn told her and dragged her towards the door.

Luna laughs. ''I freaking hope he does...and that's another reason. I can't just go 'Hey, I'm head over heels in love with you and deep down, i believe you are the one for me and i've decided to tell you after the death of your brother.' Should be fun?'' She then gasps at what she said about him being the one for her. She blushes and gets dragged by Jocelyn.

"Sure you can Luna!" Jocelyn stopped walking when she sees the headmistress of Wolfclaw walking down the hallway, she turns around and began to breath in and out very slowly. This was the nightmare although she was very happy that Luna was here but she knows her brothers will notice by their connection that she is not feeling well. "Luna, if she is out of sight tell me alright but don't leave me here alone, my brothers would kill you if you leave." Jocelyn whispered to Luna.

Luna drags her back outside and takes her hands. ''I'll keep an eye out...Just stay here. Keep hold of my hand, you hear me? I am not letting you go. Just keep breathing the way you are. I guess you can say, i'm a protector like the moon.'' She smirks and watches the headmistress walk out the way. ''There has to be another way..she's a freaking vampire for warriors sake..'' She breathes out, looking at the roofs with bright eyes.

Jocelyn continued breathing but the panic came over her. she had to be strong, she had to not worry her brothers, they are going to be so pissed at her for getting out of their sight. Jocelyn closed her eyes and a memory flooded into her mind.

Luna watches her grow through a memory and her heat clenches. She hates going through a memory herself so watching Jocelyn go through one made her sad. She uses her free hand  and puts it on her shoulder. ''It's going to be alright okay...we're going to just slip in the corridor and act normal. No need to panic okay, Jocy. I ain't letting anything hurt you.'' She smiles.

Jocelyn looked at Luna and nodded. Just act normal, don't be scared she can't harm you!  Jocelyn thought as she blew out the air, she took another deep breath and looked at Luna again.

"I can do this, come on, let's go find my brothers before i have to sit a couple of hours for their lecture." Jocelyn said to Luna.

Luna laughs and nods. ''Let's go then...and that would be a torture! Protective guys giving you a lecture...I can imagine all the hugs afterwards. Lucky sod...I got sisters where two dislike me and the other just sits in the library all the time. I want group cuddles...would be awesome!'' She laughs again and looks left to right of the corridor seeing the teacher gone. She slips in and nods at Jocelyn giving the all clear with a grin.

Jocelyn smiled again and shook her head. Crazy girl! "Stop it isn't funny, you know Legion is a crazy one and people who doesn't know him are scared of him but he is the most protective of them all, i can't walk to the bathroom without telling him." Jocelyn joked at Luna and she followed Luna into the corridor to search for her brothers.

Luna gives her a goofy grin and laughs. ''It kinda is, Jocy!'' She laughs again at her comment. ''That's a bit weird...Tell 'em to lay off a bit or start going on about girly things to make 'em feel awkward...I can help if ya like?'' She winks with a goofy grin.

"I kind of like it that they care for me you know, in my other family i was left to care for myself and they didn't really bother to do something for me." Jocelyn looked at her hands and then up and smiled at Luna. "Thanks for doing this for me i didn't expect a hufflepuff girl would be hanging out with me."

''I know what ya mean, Jocy...I really do.'' Luna looks at her with a knowing smile. ''It's alright really and i ain't like the other hufflepuff's. I always thought i should be in a different house, not hufflepuff. I'm a dangerous girl to be honest...not cheerful and a goody two shoes.'' She shrugs and her goofy grin comes back.

"You're not??" Jocelyn asked curiously. "What kind of dangerous girl is hiding behind the goofy grin you just gave me then? To be honest i'm not the kind of girl you want to hang out with, i know important stuff about the dark side of the wizarding world but i can't reveal it, maybe if i had a deathwish i could." Jocelyn said in a more serious tone. She then shook her head and smiled at Luna.

Luna smiles sadly. ''I've killed people, Jocy. I've harmed people. I've scared people. I'm an adrenaline junkie, I used to cut myself, i drink myself into oblivion when i can but i do not smoke. I'm a fighter and a darn good one if i say so myself. I fight with daggers and swords 'cause i believe wands can't do much if they're on the other side of the room. You know important things about the dark side? I live and breathe the darkness seeing as i am named after the moon. Me and my sisters are named depending on our birthmarks...and prophecies. I am meant to be in the dark like the moon is and Astra is meant to be as well. We're meant to have trouble in our lives as it makes us the moon and stars.'' She explains in a calm but serious voice. She shrugs the seriousness away. ''You will understand how i'm different from the others in my house...I know you will. I had a deathwish once....that's long but gone now but i have people in my life to make living worth while. Keep them secret. Keep it safe...never let the darkness coming escape.'' She says the last three lines looking right into Jocelyn's eyes with a smile and looks ahead, searching for the boys.

Jocelyn looked and listened to Luna's story. "You don't have to tell me any of it Luna, i know you have experienced a lot because i can see it in your eyes, let's not talk about it." Jocelyn said to her with a pained expression. She didn't want her friendship with Luna being ruined right here right now. "Come let's find Akkie for you and don't worry about him, i don't know if he feels the same but he is almost the same as you, you'll need each other one day!" Jocelyn said with a smile.

Luna grins. ''Yeah...Let's not...We basically just met and i can't lose you. You make me forget like Achilles does. Must be something the Grimm's can do.'' She laughs and her eyes sparkle brightly with happiness. ''I'll always need him, Jocy.'' She grins and looks through one of the gaps in the corridor, seeing the full moon causing her grin to grow.

Jocelyn grinned. "Well Achilles would be real glad to hear that. We shall see how long we can cope with each other." Jocelyn joked.
