Lessons (invite only)

Sitting on the edge of the lake, Alex was waiting for Angel to show up for her swimming lessons. He had on just a pair of swimming trunks and his eye patch. Next to him, his bag with towels, and another pair of clothes, along with his wand. He was always told he was very attractive for a boy his age, and very fit. He glanced around, looking and waiting for Angel.

Angel jogged up to the were Alex was, her Ravenclaw house robe trailing behind her." Hey Alex," she said brightly walking up to the Gryffindor.

Alex looked up at her, "Good. You made it." he stood up, his full height present. "Ready?" he asked.

Angel nodded," Of course i am," she glanced at the lake, You can go first," she offered

He walked over to the lake and began to wade into the water. Looking over his shoulder, he waved for Angel to follow, "It's a bit cold, but you'll adjust." he called to her.

Angel nodded and shrugged off her cloak before jumping into the water beside Alex. The moment she was submerged in water, she realized she couldn't float. Angel kicked and grabbed at the nearest thing, Alex's leg, trying to pull herself up.

Alex almost fell, but quickly got his footing back. Extending a hand, he offered to pull her back up.

Angel thankfully accepted Alex's helping hand and pulled herself up, gasping when she felt air fill her lungs," I think the first thing you should teach me is floating," Angel suggested.

He laughed a little and nodded. "First thing to treading water, Keep your head up and breathe normally." as he went off explaining how to tread water.

Angel nodded and did exactly what Alex told her. Well at least tried to. She smiled brightly when she started to float easily in the water.

He smiled, "Do you want to learn the breast stroke or the dog paddle first?" he asked.

Angel squeezed the strands of her hair, letting flat droplets of water drip from the tips," Whichever one is easier,"

He shrugged, "Doggy paddle then, it's easier." he moved closer to her.

Angel nodded at Alex," Hopefully I don't drown,"

"I wont let that happen." he said reassuringly. He got right next to her and began to explain how the doggy paddle worked, and also displaying it himself.

Angel smiled," When I first met you, I thought you hated me," Angel said as she imitated what Alex was doing.

He shrugged, "Just not used to people talking to me." he muttered, "Careful. Keep your head up."

Angel nodded and forced herself to keep her head in the air," Why aren't you used to people talking to you? I mean you aren't a bad person or anything,"

He shrugged. "Now, paddle a ways that way then turn around and come back to me," he instructed, pointing in the direction of middle of the lake.

Angel nodded and tried her best to swim to the middle of the lake and back. By the time she returned to Alex, Angel felt like she swallowed a few liters of water," What's next," she asked.

He looked her over, "Handling everything ok?" he asked.

Angel nodded," I'm fine," Angel reassured realizing that it was the first time she said those words truthfully.

He nodded, "Then let's start the breast stroke. Watch me." he showed her how to do it before standing back up and explaining how to do it, but slower.

Angel watched carefully, making sure to catch every movement.

Finally he stood up again and said "now do the same, going toward the middle of the lake again, but I'll swim with you this time..." he said.
