Just Another Day (Invite Only)

Coming off the quidditch pitch Dominic laughed at something his team mate said his voice carrying through the halls as the team made its way towards lunch. His broom hooked over his shoulders he wore a tight under armor styled green slytherin shirt with basketball shorts. His hair a mess from flying, the roudy group kept shoving each other. "Yeah we all know your stupid cousin is a squib Nott" he said shoving the other boy as he stumbled "with grades like yours maybe you are too" the other boy playfully attacked him as he walked "better then a mudblood" he sneered an the boys loudly chorused there agreements. "Goin to the party later?" Zabini asked and he nodded "yeah i'll see you lil shits there" the team walked into the great hall together almost slamming into the gryffindor team as outside you could hear rain start to fall "ooh to bad" said Nott "practice in the rain...we had the pitch all morning"

"We scheduled the pitch" Wood said hotly "Nah mate, just because you scribble your name doesnt mean you get the bitch. Our team's grades are better then yours. We get priority" Dominic said with a smirk as he noticed other students turning to watch.

Danika was having a good laugh with some friends as their house team made their grand entrance into the Great Hall following practice. Taking a bite of her sandwich and looking up as the Gryffindor team seemed to collide with the Slytherin team, her blue eyes spotted Dominic. Why hadn't she noticed it before?! He was on the team! "Someone got your fancy, Burke?" a black haired housemate said, leaning forward and grinning at her. "And.... What if there is?" she asked, looking back and raising an eyebrow. The girl shrugged and glanced in the direction of the team. "Lots of lookers. I wouldn't mind getting with any one of them..." she purred darkly. "Salazar, Flint!" Danika scoffed. "What? You telling me you wouldn't jump at the chance to have any one of them?" she retorted. Danika looked back at the group, but really only looked at Dominic. "I'm not just going to throw myself at any of them.... But, some are...appealing," she answered simply. Seeing Dominic look their way, she smiled slightly before looking down at her lunch.

As tempers rose the boys started shoving, Dom stepped between two "listen ladies we can all get detention and lose the next match thanks to that or you kittens can go play with your yarn and we'll go on our way"

The gryffindors considered his words and finally decided on letting the snakes go. "Pussys" Zabini scoffed and Dom ruffled his hair pulling him down. Letting him go he saw a black haired girl watching them "see something you like Flint?" he teased flirtatiously.

As the confrontation between green and red grew, the eyes of both house tables watched and waited to see what would happen, including Danika's. When Dominic stepped between two players that were on the verge of throwing punches and getting both teams in trouble, a sort of impressed smile touched her lips. His actions were impressive, she wasn't going to lie.

When Zambini called to them, Danika looked at her fellow as she made a 'told you so' face and looked back at him. "And... What if I do, Zambini?" she retorted back her voice dark and flirtatious. Danika rolled her eyes as she watched the two, glancing up at Dominic for a moment, before taking another bite of lunch.

"Flint's not bad" the boy said to Dom who shook his head "shes all ass tits and nothing much left" he replied "what else is needed bro"

Dom shook his head and shoved the kid towards the door "take the brooms second year" groaning he gathered them to head towards the dungeons. Walking over to the girls he kissed Danika on the cheek and rumbled in her ear "hey star gazer"

Flint got to her feet, winking at Danika, and followed after Zambini. If he was going to be alone, might as well, keep him company, she reasoned. Rolling her eyes as her fellow left, Danika jumped slightly when Dominic kissed her cheek. Just like the last time, the feeling of his lips on her cheek lingered after they were gone. The nickname he gave her the first night made her heart skip a beat as his voice sounded softly in her ear. "H-.... Hi, Dominic. Hey, you're a star gazer, too," she mused softly to him. "How was practice?" she asked, taking a drink of her pumpkin juice and offering for him to sit if he liked. As if he wasn't attractive enough already, his practice uniform only helped to show of just how attractive he was she noticed.

"it was fun but training some new kids can be a pain they keep crashing" he complained sliding to sit with her. "some of the guys want to meet at three broomsticks for dinner" he said his hand on the back of his neck betraying his slight nervousness "would you care to join me?"

Chuckling at hearing about the hardships of training the new team members, Danika glanced at him as he took a seat next to her. Tilting her head, she noticed the little bit of nervousness that she hadn't seen from him before as he spoke about the little dinner gathering later that night. Smiling, she absentmindedly tucked her blonde hair behind her ear, and looked away, nervous herself at being asked to go with him. Gently biting the corner of her bottom lip, she brought her eyes back to him. "Sure. I'd like that. Wanna meet in the Common Room?" she asked with a happy smile.

"Definitly" he said standing he grabbed a sandwhich "see you in a couple hours" kissing her cheek he left to dress and shower.

Danika nodded with a smile and watched Dominic go. Putting her remaining sandwich in her mouth, she grabbed her bag and headed back to her dorm to get ready for him.

A couple of hours later...

Danika pinned the sides of her blonde hair up and added a touch of pink lip gloss to complete her look. Grabbing her black cloak, she slipped out of her room and into the Common Room. Taking a seat on the arm of the sofa, she waited for Dominic as she said she would.
