Midnight snack (Artemis)

Artemis smirked. ''Yeah...it's a good idea if you don't.'' She said and tilted her head. ''I believe..using weapons is sort of a surprise to your enemies when they use their wand.'' She admitted, staring at her fists. ''I do a lot of kick boxing when i can so if i got into a fist fight i think i'd be alright.'' She said with a confident smirk.

"So why do you have all the weapons in the first place?" He was curious at to why she felt the need to carry weapons on her at all time. "If you dont mind my asking. I'm a curious person." He knew his father had both his wand and muggle weapons in the house in case he needed them.

Artemis tensed slightly before looking at Jace in the corner of her eye. ''The reason is because i was bred for battle, for death but also to protect. I am and always will be a warrior. I need my weapons as truth be told...they are simply an extension of my body. Without them, i feel empty and weak. I can't have that.'' She explained in a smooth voice. ''I told your sister that i've killed people before. At the age of eleven, i have more blood on my hands than you may have have.''

Jace felt sorry for Artemis just then. She didnt get to have a normal childhood like he and sydney had. "I'm sorry about that." When she mentioned that she ahd killed people before, his palms began to sweat. "You're scary, you know that? Pretty, but scary."

Artemis raised her eyebrow. ''Sorry for my childhood? I had an amazing childhood. Sure i got a lot of scars out of it...but i was happy.'' She told him, listing up her shirt to reveal three massive jagged scars on her ribs. ''I fell off a climbing frame and landed on some swords that were on their racks. I got up and simply laughed.'' She told him and dropped her shirt. ''How am i scary?'' She ignored the comment about her being pretty and tilted her head, giving him a wolf like grin.

"You carry 11 deadly weapons on you at all times! How is that not scary!?" He decided to ignore the fact that he had called her pretty, just as she had. "And swords? How does one just laugh at that? I'd probably be crying. And I'm a guy!"

Artemis laughed lightly. ''A friend of mine carries lots more. My friend's mother carries around 30.'' She said, her tone filled with pride. ''Yeah...I just laughed and walked away from it. I guess i was just had a lot of adrenaline.'' She mused and smirked. ''Everyone's different, Jace.'' She points out.
