Care Of Magical Creatures Lesson 1

Atticus gazed at that Shuter boy. He didn't call his attention out of nowhere, what he said did. A chimaera? They weren't that good to look at. Really, they were truly ugly creatures. BUT, they were also interesting. "Well, Chimaeras also sound neat," he added his opinion.

Malphas snorted at all the choices made by the first years but decided to not speak. His dad knew he was waiting for him to bring a Basilisk to a lesson, but he knew Bruce'd never do it. It'd not only be extremely dangerous, but extremely creepy to the young-ins. Since Mal knew he wouldn't contain himself and he'd probably begin controlling the creature.

"Very well, next lesson, we'll be having a Dragon. Then a Lethifold, and then, on the lesson after that, a Chimaera," he smirked and then waved his wand opening a larger path that lead out of the clearing, "Class dismissed!"

Mio grinned excitedly at hearing that they would indeed come to see a lethifold in a few weeks. This lesson was definitely going better and better, though he hoped that the professor would be able to keep these creatures in check.
Turning to his housemates, he started to walk back to the castle with them.

Artemis listened the entire lesson, interested in everyone's suggestions. Hearing class dismissed, she watched Ember rush off with her friends causing Artemis to growl in annoyance. Hanging back, she tried to stay close to Atticus, to feel that sense of security but still wandered off back to the castle.

Rowan smiled brightly at hearing that they would, in fact, get to see a dragon next lesson! The other creatures sounded interesting, too, but she was most excited to see a dragon in real life, up close. Picking up her things, she gave a small wave to Artemis and the others before heading back to the castle, with almost a skip in her step as she went.
