reunion with family (Thane, Jocelyn and Zack)

Zack was sitting at a table in a dark corner of the Leaky Cauldron. he met with his cousin Thane and now they spoke for another meeting with one of his children. Zack knew two of them were dead and one was changed into an beast but that reminded him of himself when he was younger. he hoped he took the youngest with him, his little girl. Zack had nightmares about his own children being murdered in front of his eyes in Africa, he couldn't sleep and decided that it was the time to keep them safe. As he was arrived in England he heard the news about Archimedes and Dante and the sadness his little girl was in. Zack looked around the Leaky Cauldron, he saw familiar faces but not everyone would remember him. He had ordered two butterbeer as he waited for Thane.

Thane strode in dressed in along coat, shirt, tie, black trousers and shoes with a black watch. He surveyed the Area. Saw Zack and approached. He sat down and gave zack a serious look. "Answers. Now. How are you alive?" He stared at Zack.

Zack looked at his cousin and looked around before bend over to him. "I pretended to be dead, fled the country, i had too and it wasn't easy dammit!" He hissed at Thane. Zack leaned back. "i don't speak good my behavior, my actions, leaving my six children behind if they weren't in danger with me alive." Zack looked around again, he couldn't have people listening in their conversation but he was also curious who Thane brought with him. He looked back at Thane. "You said you would bring one of them? where is he or she?" hee asked at him.

Thane muttered something under his breath. "why the hell did you not come looking for them. I did, it took for ever to find them. But at least I fucking tried. You realise two died right? You realise that your and her apparent death sent Reaper and Ronan insane right? You realise that Kronos is walking around fucking people over? You know that Kronos and Legion follow in the dark ways. You Know that they think your dead and its gonna fuck there mind up right?! Jesus do you not realise that being gone for so long got one of your sons killed and another turned into a monster. You know that's your doing right? Congrats. And I brought Jocelyn. She should be her in..3...2...1" He pointed to the door as it opened.

Zack let everything come over him because he knew everything, he had people working for him to find out everything about their children so he knew everything when he arrived in England. Zack looked at him, he took a sip of his butterbeer before he started talking again. "Thane, if i was here still raising them they all would have died including me, i had people searching for them for three years and they found everything out including Hades who is going to get kick in the ass when i see him. I asked my brother in law to look after the youngest one because i knew Hades wouldn't keep them safe. I know about Dante and Reaper and you don't know how much pain and nightmares i had because of that news. I'm here now and nobody touches my family ever again. I killed the bastards who killed my wife and the mother of my children and who threatened me and my family. I don't expect the boys to just accept me right away. I'm fully aware of their positions right now." Zack hissed back at him. When Thane told him that he brought his little girl he turned around immediately and there she was, she looked so much like her mother.

Jocelyn walked into the Leaky Cauldron, she had received an patronus from Thane and sneaked out of the castle to come here. She opened her black wintercoat and looked around and spotted Thane in the dark corner, there was someone else looking at her and that made her feel a little bit uneasy as she walked up to them. She stepped away from the man and stood next to Thane and looked at him. "You know it is going to be late and dark outside so you need to give me a ride back." Jocelyn didn't want to be rude she pulled her hand out to him. "Hello i'm Jocelyn, i'm his little niece." Jocelyn smiled weakly.

Thane hissed at Zack. "This convostaion isn't finished." He turned to Jocelyn and gestured for her to sit. "Jocelyn.I woud like you to meet someone. Someone who we believed to be dead. This is your Father. Zack Grimm."

Jocelyn sits down next to Thane and as he introduced her to her father she only looked at him, for a couple of minutes. Her eyes weren't even wide or her mouth wasn't even open. Jocelyn didn't know what to think or what to say. After a couple of minutes she looked away from Zack and back at Thane. "Is this some kind of joke?" Is the only thing she could get out of her mouth. "This is not funny Thane, i have nightmares and dreams where i saw them both die, i saw everything so this is so not funny." Jocelyn hissed angrily not even looking at Zack at all. She stood up but Zack stopped her.

Thane sighed. "Told you this would happen."

Zack looked at his little girl as she approached them, she looked just like her mother and he couldn't bring any word out. Thane introduced him to her and she reacted but not as he hoped she would do. As she stood up to leave, Zack stood up and stopped her. "Yes i am your father, please i can explain!" Zack watched her as she sat down again. "Jocy, i pretended to be death so the people couldn't hurt you or your brothers, i had to fled the country to keep you all safe." Zack saw his little girl chuckle at his story but he ignored that. "I'm not here to tell you to forgive me for everything, no if you hate me for it i can live with that but i'm here now and i want to have my family safe. I know everything, i know you have been through a lot and it is not easy to loose your brothers, you broke i know you did." Zack stopped, looked away from her for a second before looking at her and her eyes, full of sadness. "I'm staying here, i will not run from my mistakes again, i will be there for you and for your brothers even if they don't accept me i will always be there for my kids." Zack was done with his talk and hoped Jocelyn would react differently and not walk away from him.

Jocelyn listened to his story and shook her head. "I don't know if i can trust you or accept you back in my life. I can't keep saying yes to everyone, who only tells me to protect me but keep fighting with each other or be involved with the murder of a brother and still be friends with the boy who tortured me and killed my brother telling him it is fine, it was an accident. You don't know anything about me! And. Don't. Call. Me. Jocy! The last time someone called me that, she broke my jaw!" Jocelyn was angry. "I'm not the little girl, the six months old baby you left behind, i'm not a little girl anymore, i grew up way too fast for that matter." Jocelyn sighed and rubbed her face before looking at Zack. "Thane is staying my guardian, if he wants it or not, I don't trust you or Hades and my brothers who are still living don't know i'm sneaking away from the castle because they are only busy with themselves. See you fit in the picture perfectly. You have to prove yourself to me before i let you in." She stated at him before looking at Thane.

It was Thane turn to chuckle. "I warned you this would happen. Things change." he turned to Jocelyn. Then smiled. "I am fine with staying your guardian. I found you to protect you so being your Guardian works for me. Oh...Well said by the way." He turned back to Zack. "As I believe none of us have anything more to ay. I susgest this little reunion is over. And, good luck with meeting Kronos and Legion. Now." He turned back to Jocelyn. "To the school?"

Zack sighed and nodded at Jocelyn. "I will prove it to you and Thane i will talk to the boys myself." He didn't expect Thane to come with the boys as well so he had to take actions on his own and he would explain to the boys why. Zack stood up as Jocelyn did also, he looked at her and stroked her cheek.

"Sorry dear, for all the trouble you had experienced in your young life, i wish i could be there to help you through it. I will keep in touch." Zack gave her an envelope as he turned to the bar and handed money at the bartender before he walked out of the door.


Jocelyn nodded at Thane and pulled up, her father gave her an envelope and she raised her eyebrows at it but he accepted it anyway, she watched him pay and walk away. Jocelyn looked at the envelope but didn't open it but she kept herself quiet.
