Snowy Solitude (Open) Empty Snowy Solitude (Open)

Post by Guest Thu Aug 15, 2013 3:06 am

Steel-blue eyes gazed out at the snow-covered courtyard. Steven liked the snow. Despite the relative solitude of the courtyard, the professor was on the alert for students who thought it might be funny to pelt him with snowballs. They would be in for one hell of a surprise if they did...

Steven approached an empty bench in the courtyard. He muttered spells to clear it of snow and ensure the seat would be comfortable before sitting, and pulled a battered book out of his pocket. The pages whispered as the wizard flicked through them. Two sheets of blank parchment hid a third, folded sheet of parchment between them. As if the book had hidden said folded parchment from Steven he yanked it out, snapped the book shut, and proceeded to use it as a surface to continue drafting a letter.
