Heart To Heart (Gaunt Twins)

Marvolo rolled over in bed, waking from a nap. rubbing her eyes she looked out the window at the sky as snow fell against the window, the enegagement ring sparkled on her finger and sighed...she missed her sister.

Morana has been avoiding her dorm room for quite some time. She didn't feel like face her sister so she was now living with Rabs and Barty. They had a lot of fun and it seemed, Rabs finally found happiness with Morgan. Morana wasn't stupid to know he had to move on and Morgan was great girl for him. But right now, this wasn't her issue. Issue were her beloved steel boots she forgot in her dorm and had to go back for them. She entered the room and quietly started looking for them. He knew Marvolo was most likely up, but didn't feel like talking to her. Not since she rushed like an idiot to hospital wing to talk to her sister and in doors noticed she forgave the one who did it to her.

Marvolo sat up pulling the curtains back she looked at Morana "Sister" she said, clad in only shorts and a sports bra she rose from the bed "I"m sorry"

Morana looked up with cold curiosity. "For what exactly?" she asked, no emotions in her voice.

She swung her legs over sitting up "Everything, for not listening to your warnings of pain and trouble from being with sirius..He has hurt me greatly but i still love him it is a curse" she looked away down at her ring "I will marry him and try to see how far I can push him, but," she looked up at her "I am yours first and foremost, my loyalty my love it is yours sister, it always has been I just strayed but I wont again, I am sorry for hurting you..for my arrogance"

Morana looked up to ceiling and took a deep breath. "You are saying me you are going to marry him and that you are sorry for it in one sentence? Is that a joke to you?" Morana asked seriously, clearly hurt in her voice. "I went to a hospital wing to fing you hugging idiot who got you pregnant and than almost killed you, with engagement ring on your hand. And when I see you, all I see are the long sleeves you have been wearing. You used to go to me with this when I was really the first, remember? I was there, all the time, sister. Every single time. While you marked him behind my back, let him treat you like a bag full of trash. I was watching how you running to him again and again. Hurting all the people around just to let him hurt you as well. And now you expect me to just get over the fact you are going to marry him?" Morana asked. Her voice was quiet and tired as she spoke. This was exactly what she wanted to avoid. She would never stay in her sister's way. Never fight against her. It was against nature. You cannot fight the other half of you. But Morana was tired. All she wanted now was to hide in Barty's arms or have one of those crazy talk at the lake with Rabs, nothing else.

"I am forgiving and it is my cross to bear...but despite all this all this conflict that in time we can work on...i do not want to lose you..please Morana do not leave me I never left you I just became stupid but I wont let anything come between us" she said her eyes pleeding with her.

"I never left you either. And if you feel like I did, tan is quite a good prove that something alredy got between us," she said. "I am not going to give you advise to leave him, since you never listen to me anyway. I guess I will just have to wait. Unlike Rabs, I have nothing else to do," she added afterwards. "Speaking of the devil, I am going to sleep at Barty's today. We promised Rabs small celebration to his engagement and we want to sneak out," said Morana matter-of-factly. "In case you want to join, leave your dog at his dormitory," she added clearly stating she won't tolerate Sirius anywhere nearby.

"Just let me change my bandages" she got up and walked over to the night stand where she unwrapped her torso and cleaned the wound, placing the healing potion on it she hissed in pain but then wrapped herself up in clean bandages, slipping a loose shirt on she put on black pants. "Lets go then" she said holding her hand out to her sister.

Morana smiled at her sister. "So, you okay with Rabastan moving on?" she asked casually just to be sure.

"Of course, I want him happy" she said with a smile "and I love morgan..she's perfect for him"

"Well, than. I just wanted to be sure," she said as they walked out of their dorm. She knocked on boys and waited for them to come out so they could go to Lake.

Barty opened the door and kissed Morana instantly, his eyes fell on the other twin "Marvolo"

Marvolo smiled at him "Hey Barty..Rabastan" she said as she spied him in the dorm "Congratualtions" she said and hugged him.

Morana looked at Barty with smile as she returned his kiss. She knew he will recognize how glad she is that Marvolo joined them.

"Hey... thanks," replied Rabastan, clearly slightly shocked by Marvolo hugging him. He wasn't expecting her to be there. Not in the craziest dreams. But he was glad that their small gang from childhood was back together. At least for a couple of hours. He looked at his friends with nostalgia in his eyes. Of course it was different. Morana was going to marry Barty instead of constantly teasing him and he didn't dream about marrying Marvolo one day anymore, but it was still nice to see them all together.

"Lets go to the lake then" barty said "Kitchens first I think?"

"Nope" grinned Marvolo she hefted a bag she had been carrying "still have a perfect fresh stash of all the good alcohol"

"You never fail in this," Rabastan laughed.

"Well, nothing to stop us then, let's go!" Morana said with laugh of a normal girl. Only with them she didn't pretend anything. With them, she was just a normal girl.

Marvolo walked with them out to the lake, as they arrived she used her wand to start a fire and passed around the whiskey "To Rabastan and Morgan" she said raising her drink.

"To Rabs and Morgan," Morana reapeated with smile and she took a sip from her glass and hid herself in Barty's arms. "Just like the old times. We should jump into the lake like we always used to back when we were in orphanage," she suggested.

"Be a kids again you mean?" Rabastan smirked. It would be nice. "We have alcohol and reasons to do reckless things. I say why not?" he laughed.

Marvolo smile at the them, it felt like old times but the old times were long dead.

"I would say me first, but..." started Morana and pushed Barty into icy water. "I need someone to chase before it," she laughed.

"Yes, just like little kids," Rabastan sighed and looked at Marvolo. "Do you think they will force us into this too?" he asked.

Barty gasped in the water but still laughed as he pulled Morana in, Marvolo undressed with cool ease "Who said I need to be dragged" she said then dived into the icey depths.

"Rabs, come on! Party ruiner!" Morana shouted at her friend while trying to keep Barty off pulling her under water.

"Being you, I would be worried about your sister, she seems like she would love to join mermaids," he said as he took another sip from bottle of firewhiskey and finally jumped into water as well.
