With serpent in your heart

Morana was sitting in the chamber, her legs in the water as she played with necklace of Salazar Slytherin. She was leaned onto basilisk and was humming the czech lullaby Amelia taught her last summer. She found czech language to be quite easy and learnt quickly. She was enjoying the place and how quiet it was. Only one to speak to her here was the basilisk her and Marvolo treassured so much.

Marvolo walked down the cold tunnels that led to the chamber "Called for me sister?"

Morana looked up to Marvolo. "No, not really. More like our boy was active again," she pointed towards basilisk who seemed to feel when one of the sister is sad or angry and used to call the other for help. In parseltongue was hard to recognize is its human of snake who speaks, and their friend knew very well how to use that.

Marvolo crossed the floor and nuzzled the basilisk "hello little love" she said in pasrtlemouth.

"Why are you down her alone" she said to her sister

Morana looked back into the water. "Is it forbidden?" she asked sarcastically and than closed her eyes as she almost lied on basilisk.

"Why are you being cross with me?" she frowned

"I am not doing anything," she replied in parseltongue. Her sister should know what was the problem. Morana generally wasn't into explaining things. Which caused her a lot of trouble with almost everyone since nobody was capable to understand her. Except for Marvolo. At least she hoped it was that way.

"Is this about Sirius?" she said as she stroked the basilisks muzzle "He said he is loyal to me and not you, I still marked him because we cannot afford someone runnning off without being under our control. Not everyone will like you sister and not everypne will like me, loyalty can be to atleast one of us"

Morana smirked. "We are supposed to be in this together. As one. That tattoo reacts to both of us. Unless u made my part dead in this case, which i suppose you did," Morana continue in parseltongue. "I wouldnt accept anyone before I would make him swear loyality to both of us. Specialy in case like Black. But I guess that is one of the things we are not the same in."

"Its not dead to you" she said with a roll of her eyes "this is so we both control him...we both know what the mark can do if we need it to. I love him but if he goes a-stray he is a better tool then he is an enemy. Surely you can understand that"

"But he is an enemy," Morana replied. "That's why I keep Morgan close as long as possible. Know your enemy," she added. "And no, it is not dead to me, but there is nothing you can do about it now," she added. She felt betrayed and she hated this feeling more than anything, but what could she do? Life taught her, that usually nothing. She didn't feel like fight her sister over this. It was pointless. Marvolo was blind. She couldn't see that the Black kid will never be her precious death eater. "And honestly, I would rather Black in the grave that walking around, but surely, you know that alredy," she added.

"Just trust me" she said

"Trust you is one thing," said Morana coldly. "But you cannot say that everytime you act behind my back. We were supposed to stay in this together and by what you did, you humiliated me in front of everyone. Specialy in front of Black. Now it looks like if I won't approve it, let's go to Marvolo. She is a good girl, she won't care about her sister and do as we please. You showed everyone down there easy way around my authority, because of that false bastard and that my sister, that hurts like hell," Morana replied, her voice completely calm, without a single emotion. She wasn't angry. She was really just hurt.

"Your being ridiculous, everyone respects you more sees you as the one with more power." she got to her feet pacing the chamber "So every time one of us does something wrong its going to end in a hissy fit?"

"You came, I didn't ask for it. And even if they did see me like this, you obviously showed them it doesn't matter. All I wanted was to be in this together. How can we want our soldiers to be loyal, when we cannot be loyal to each other ourselves?" Morana asked her curiously. "I love you sister and I would do anything for you. But I expect the same from you. Even with your reckless romances with traitors, I am still by your side. I never, not even single once stood against you and until today, I never even spoke against Black to you. You knew what I feel towards him, how much I don't trust him amongst the others and you still did what you did," Morana didn't really want to say that out loud. But she had enough of feeling that Black was more to Marvolo than herself. And she needed to express it somehow.

"We are in this together, we should be celebrating not talking like this" she said

"I don't feel like celebrating. And I don't feel like we are in this together. Back before Black, you used to understand me. And you knew I don't care about explanations. That simple sorry, I am aware of what you feel, would be enough. But you fogot even that part since you are with him. But I know you will come back to me once he will decide darkness is not cool anymore. And I can wait. I always waited for you," said Morana. She was always waiting for her sister to come back from her reckless adventures. At least that's how she saw it. "And than, once you are back, we can finally celebrate," she added with smile as she looked into water again.

"I do understand how you feel but treating me like the enemy is not the answer"

"I am not treating you like an enemy. I never plotted behind your back or kept secrets from you. I never fought against you and I am not planning to do any of these thing in future either. Being hurt doesn't mean I am treating you like an enemy and if you think it does, than you clearly don't understand me," Morana replied sadly. "I am a bitch. I manipulate people, control them, punish them, but I never did that to you. And I never will. So don't you dare tell me I am treating you like an enemy ever again," she than added darkly,, but her dark and husky voice was broken as it was the first sentence after a long time she said in english.

"I didnt keep secrets or plot behind your back thisis the first I am seeing you since the meeting so I told you now I didnt hold back I dont keep secrets from you."

"It doesn't matter anymore. You clearly don't see my point. So let's not bother with that." she said matter-of-factly. "How was your day?" she asked like nothing happened.

Marvolo all but screamed with frustration, reaching out her arms she forced her sister into her lap and cuddled her "it would be great if you werent mad at me" she grumbled her face in her hair.

Morana wanted to say something about how surprising is that now she cares, but she left that unspoken. The fight was over, there was nothing else to talk about. "Than don't give me a reson to be next time," she said only.

"Never ever" she hugged her tighter "last thing i want to lose is you, i'd rather die"
