In The Heart Of A Girl

Gryffindor. One of the best houses in hogwarts. If not the best. James, a proud gryffindor, came out of his dorm. Sirius, Remus and Peter seemed to still be sleeping. James sat on the couch, as he saw Lily pass by. He grabbed her arm slightly from the couch. It wasn't usual, but he wanted someone he could speak off. Lately, he and Lily were less distant, especially since what happened with Severus. "Hey Lily. Sit with me." He said.

Lily jumped a bit as James grabbed her and looked at him with slight shock. Truth was she didnt really hate him that much since the afternoon when he best friend send her away. She must admit, that James changed. He stopped being such a jerk and started to actually behave like someone who deserves to be given a chance. "Hi James, do you need something?" she asked with smile as she sat next to him

James smiled back. Lily was so pretty. Her hair had a beautiful color. But who was he kidding. Like she would really care about him. Even though they were now a little tiny bit closer, Lily could never fall in love, or even get to like James the same way. To him, they were that different. "Nothing. Just wanted to talk. I'm so bored, having you around is always nice."

"James Potter, are you actually trying to flirt with me without hanging someone upsite down?" asked Lily and pretended shock before she started to laugh. She knew James was trying to get her on a date for a very long time now, but his techniques weren't exactly something Lily would fell for.

James laughed a bit, leaning back on the couch. A fluffy one indeed. "Well, seems like I haven't catched you any other way, best as well try this one." James looked over at Lily. "Would you go on a date with me? I mean, I'm not that bad you know. I'm a good person, once you get to really know me." Said James, smiling like an innocent child.

Lily sighed and looked out of the window like she was thinking. Than she sighed again and turned to James with smile on her face. "One day! You have one day in Hogsmeade next weekend to convince me you are good enough for me," she said giving up. "But if you won't convince me, you will never have chance again, deal?" she added.

"YES!!! I mean, okay Lily. If that's your wish!" Said James, letting out a hug smile. On the inside, he was glad and happy that Lily had taken up on his invite. "You won't regret it Lily. I promise."
