Animal In You (Morgan)

Morgan, as the fox, raised her head. As she looked around, the world looked so different from what she was used to. The colors were muted slightly, but the details were incredable. Everything is so different... she thought. She managed to get into a sitting position and looked down at her front paws. It's so strange... she thought with a laugh in her mind. A sudden feeling tickled her from behind and she looked quickly to see what it was. Ha ha ha.... It's my tail! Morgan rolled onto her back and the over onto her stomach, laying with all four feet on the ground. Was it like this for you? she asked, the question in her happy eyes as well as her mind.

Marvolo barked with laughter and nuzzled her stomach "yes it is usually surprising espeically when you realize you have a tail...though Morana she's a raven she had to be pushed off something to fly"

Morgan yipped as she laughed as Marvolo nuzzled her belly and rolled onto her back, looking at the great wolf upside down. It's wonderful! All of this! Morgan rolled back over and carefully got to her feet. She wobbled slightly before taking some unsure steps. Gradually, she was able to walk normal all over the grotto. Four feet are definitely trickier to work with than two... Suddenly, Morgan's fox eyes caught sight of something next to Marvolo. Her fox instincts took over and she crouched low to the ground. She stalked and ran after whatever creature was there and when she was about three feet away, she sprung straight into the air and landed with her front feet on the creature. When she looked inside her paws, she saw it was a mouse. Morgan's mind took over then and let the mouse go. What happened? she asked Marvolo, looking at her with confusion in her golden eyes.

Your hungry she said when we are like this we are made to hunt she watched with amusement, should her form be human she would have laughed aloud.

Morgan's golden eyes smiled as she looked at Marvolo. I don't feel hungry, but I guess, as I'm sharing myself with an animal, I have its feelings, too... Morgan looked and watched as the mouse got away safely. She wasn't sure if she could hunt as a fox, but knowing that she had the instinct and the fox's skills to hunt if she needed to felt pretty good. She sat up and looked at her paws again, How do we change back? Morgan raised her head and tilted it looking at the great wolf.

picture yourself changing into the girl you see in the mirror every day, feel your skin ripple and stretch your bones become longer your hair turn blonde. slowly she shifted into her human form taking her time so morgan could watch.

Morgan lowered her head and closed her golden eyes. See myself.... She began to focus on what she looked like when she looked in the mirror. Morgan saw her grey-blue eyes and blonde hair. She saw every detail that someone would normally take for granted. Eventually, there was a light glowing around the image of herself, and she started to feel as if she was getting larger. The feeling was not as unpleasent as when she changed into the fox, but it was certainly something to get used to. She felt a stretching sensation and her bones lining up as they were originally. When she opened her eyes, they were just finishing changing from golden to her darkened grey-blue. "Did I.... Did I do it?" she asked slightly winded, looking at Marvolo from her cross-legged position.

"Well look for yourself" she chuckled as she looked a tthe exhausted girl.

Morgan lifted her arms and looked. At the ends of her arms weren't white paws, but her normal hands! She looked down at herself and she was human again. Morgan smiled and let out a sigh. She felt tired, drained. But, she had done it. Morgan tucked her blonde hair behind her ears, revealing something different along the hairline. She was no longer blonde at the base of her hair but much darker, nearly black. As she looked around her, to be sure she was back to normal, the light caught this change and showed almost purple in reflection. When she looked back at Marvolo, she smiled brightly and asked, "Does it get less draining each time?"
