Flying Lesson 1

Violet was pouting slightly when her twinsister didn't pick her right away, but she quickly cheered up when she finally could join her siblings. "Forget about that, Rachel, we will win!" she said confidently, grinning over at the other team. As a true Slytherin, she would play to win, as always, but she would also make sure that everyone played fair. "No cheating, Than!" Violet called over to the older boy and winked.

"You are quite right, winning is not important as long as we all can have some fun." Luna answered Rachel calmly before shaking her head at Violet. "Thanatos will play just as fair as everyone else. He is a good player." she gave back, smiling softly at the Slytherin boy. In Luna's opinion, people just had to stop being suspicious of each other all the time, then many problems wouldn't arrive at all. Turning back to the remaining students, Luna picked the next team member. "Idie? Will you join us as well?" she asked the Slytherin girl.

Rachel sighed at her sister's comment about winning, but gave no comment just shrugged her shoulders. They weren't as close the last couple of weeks as Rachel wanted to be, she noticed it in everything. She was more the loner in the Snape family just like her father was when he was younger. Being in a different house as her twin had slightly something to do with that and being at home would not be the same with their mum gone. Rachel shook the horrible thoughts out of her mind and blowed out the air. She gave Luna a smile. Luna, she was such a sweet and caring girl, sometimes she was odd but Rachel really admired that in her, she was herself and Luna should be proud of herself.

Rachel looked around the group and saw there were not many people left for her to pick from. "I choose Nyx." Rachel said. She didn't know the girl but it didn't matter, she didn't have too, it was just class.

Medusa watched her students quickly build their teams and nodded her head at both girls for including students from all houses. It would do all of them good to practice some tolerance and where better to do that than with the distraction of a good match.
"If Miss Benton is not willing to participate in the game, she can take the time to write an essay about the importance of paying attention in class." she snapped in annoyance as the Slytherin had not even reacted to being picked.

Luna sighed and looked sadly at Idie. She didn't know the girl very well, but they had worked well together at the battle. Nodding at her professor, she turned to the remaining students and waved towards the two remaining students. "Sithon? Tatsu? We would be happy to have you on our team." Luna smiled and welcomed both students.

Nyx had been calmly waiting for her turn, not bothered at all about what team would pick her. Although her brother and best friend where on Lovegood's team, at least Violet was with her, so she strolled over, nodding once at Rachel and the others before standing next to Vio.

Medusa nodded her head and clapped her hands to get them into action. "Alright, Luna, Rachel, gather your teams and tell everyone which position they will play. And make it quick, we don't have all day." she told them and walked over to a chest which held the two balls; a quaffle and a blutcher. "Oh and we won't need seekers. You can decide wether you want two beaters or three chasers on your teams." Medusa called over to the students.

"Erm ... alright. Neville? You could be a good keeper, I think." Luna started slowly, looking at each of her team members. "Sithon, you might be a beater? And Thanatos, you and Tatsu and me would make a good chaser team, don’t you think?" she asked, to see if everyone would be okay with their positions.

Neville sighed in relief and picked up his broom, ready for the match. At least he would not have to fly around too much and guarding was something he was good at.

Tatsu also immediately nodded at Luna and grabbed her broom. "Sure thing. Than and I will help you kick their asses." she said smirking, clapping the other Slytherin's shoulder. "Won't we?"

"Of course we will." Thanatos gave back, grinning at Tatsu, slowly relaxing a bit, now that he had another Slytherin with him on the team. Someone he could trust at least to some point. He looked over to his sister to see if she was alright with the situation, but as always, Nyx seemed completely unfazed by everything.

Sithon was pouting a bit that he couldn't be on the same team as Violet, but he would still give his best for his own team. Nodding quickly with a huge grin on his face, he jumped onto his broom, saluting Luna. "Ready when you are, captain!"
