A little flying date (Lavender)

David was excited for this date.. it was the first one that he had chosen with ANY girl, and since it was flying, he could show off to Lavender. he was not sure if she could fly..or if any flying would actually happen. They would be alone on the pitch..so anything could really happen.

So it came to pass that David lead her onto the pitch, her hand in his left, and his firebolt in his right.
"You excited?" he asked her

Lavender walked with David onto the Quidditch Pitch, a place that she usually avoided at all costs. But it was where David had wanted to take her, and as such she was going to deal with her fear of flying and try and enjoy herself. She didn’t have a broom of her own, so she wondered whether she would be borrowing one from the shed or if she was to use David’s instead. “Excited? A little,” she answered, smiling at his face as they walked hand-in-hand, “terrified? A lot.”

David laughed warmly "I won't let you fall and die a horrible death" He winked at her. He then let her hand go to go grab her a crappy school broom. When he returned, he handed it to her "Now.. would you like a demonstration, or would you like to get right into it?" He smiled as he mounted his firebolt. He looked over her beautiful form teasingly as he waited for her to make up her mind.

Lavender winced when he mentioned about her falling and dying a horrible death- no matter the context. “Why did you have to give me that idea?” she asked, partially serious and partially playful and she forced herself not to turn right about and walk straight off of the pitch. As his question, she raised her eyebrow. While she adored David, she didn’t was to increase his ego by him demonstrating flying to her, and even more so didn’t want to lose more of her pride by having him need to. So with a toss of her high pony tail and a smirk on her lips, the girl answered rather cheerfully, “I would much rather get right into it.”

David smirked but said nothing at first, then a few moments later he said "Because I might miss..." He laughed as he handed her the broom. He then watched her toss her hair and tell him she would much rather just get into it. He smiled and said "And that, Miss Brown, is why you are a Gryffindor. Now, if you wouldn't mind mounting that broom, we can get going" He kicked off the ground and hovered a few feet in the air. He then said 'Now straddle that broom like it is your job.. if you keep your legs tight around it you shouldn't fall.. unless you do something stupid."

Lavender shot him a glare and said, “you had better not miss!” With a small smile, she shook her head and grabbed the broom, holding it tightly and giving it a look of accusation. “You had better not let me fall,” she said to the inanimate piece of wood and she threw her leg over the broom and gripped the handle tightly. Thinking back to her first year of flying lessons, as she always had to, she let out a steadying breath and kicked off from the ground. Thankfully she didn’t go off into the air like she had the last time she was on a broom, and instead simply hovered close enough to the ground that if she extended her foot, the toe of her shoe would graze the sand. “Okay.. now what, flying master?”

David laughed and shrugged when she began to talk to the school broom "Thats an old Shooting star, I wouldn't put TOO much trust into it. It might just let you fall" He smirked evily. He then watched proudly as she kicked off. He could tell she was scared, but she was brave enough to continue. He could remember his first time flying. He had been scared, yet he was natural. he just had to push himself to do certain things.. like stand on a broom..or jump off it. He then grinned when she called him 'master' [color:eb48=ff0000]"Remember that, it's very kinky" He said teasingly, he then continued "Tilt your broom up slightly then lean forward, you'll go higher."
