Mad World (Neville)

Allison was on her way back to the common room, as she had a terrible headache, when she lost her grip on her books and they all slipped out from her arms. "Crap," she said under her breath as she kneeled down to pick her books up. She had been awfully out of it in those past few weeks, and she wasn't really sure what was going on in her head. She knew that she should tell someone about it, but she wasn't sure what she would have said.

Once she had gathered her books back up, she stood back up again and started walking. She obviously had too much to carry, and she was struggling to carry them all without dropping them again. She just wanted to get back to the common room so she could rest.

Neville was wandering through the seemingly endlass halls of Hogwarts, looking for the statue of an old witch where he was supposed to meet Mio. Somehow, even after spending a year at the castle, he still could get lost in the corridors that all seemed to look the same to him.
He was once again, checking the instructions his fellow Gryffindor had written down for him when he noticed a Ravenclaw girl in the couryard who was struggling with her books. Walking over to her, Neville smiled shyly. "Can I help you carry some of these?" he asked her. Even though he usually would not approach someone he didn't know, Neville could not just watch without offering his help.

Allison had had her eyes glued firmly to the ground until she heard a voice next to her. She looked up and saw a familiar Gryffindor boy. Though they had never actually been formally introduced, she knew who he was. "Thank you so much," she said, handing a few of her books to him. She was a bit shy, as most people would have just let her keep walking, and Allison was never good at socializing. "You're Neville, right?" she asked, just to make sure she had the right person.
