The Darkest Shadow (Kain, M)

Hearing her whisper she was his only add fuel to his fire as he began moving his rod faster and faster inside of her, "I'll fuck you 'till you shout my name," he grinned after the whisper.

Some time later...

Lilith lied in his bed, next to him, her back turned to him as she cried silently and didn't want him to see her, still having foolish hope he actually had no idea she was crying in that moment. She hated the world and most of all hated herself and her body for submitting to him, when she was meant to fight. But she didn't dare to speak, nor to leave. She maybe had hard time staying, but she was sure she couldn't handle if he got angry again and repeated all this again.

He knew she was crying. Oh yes, he did. Would be hard for him, out of all people, to not understand when Lilith was crying. Maybe they got pushed away yes, but he still knew her better than most people. He knew what he did hurt her in some way other than just physically. And he regretted allowing his darker side to show, if he had been in complete control this wouldn't have happened. However, he didn't regret doing it. No, he enjoyed it. Very much so. "I'm sorry," he whispered into her ear because although he was rough on her, he did love her.

His silent words put her into a shock. She never expected him to apologize. At least not anymore. But those words, it was like as if the old Kain, her best friend, came back to comfort her and for this rare moment of kindness, she wanted to trust him. With that need to trust him, to believe that somewhere deep inside he still cared for her, she turned to him, burrying her face into his chest, hiding her tears while hoping he will really comfort her. "But you are never going to stop," she sobbed. It was a statement, not a question. And she didn't need an answer to know it.

"I'm not...because I love you," he whispered once again holding her close to his chest. And he meant it, but he knew she'd go back to the lion, just because he wasn't gonna stop being who he is. A manipulative asshole and a bastard.

She didn't reply to him. Mainly because she didn't know how. But she felt suddenly much safer knowing he still cared. In his own sick, twisted way. And she knew he will win this fight. She saw it after all. And it hurt her knowing it, letting him break her piece by piece. But there was nothing she could do to change it. So she let his arms and chest guard her as she cried herself into her sleep, knowing, that wake up next to him in the morning won't hurt any less than falling asleep there.
