Welcome Feast 1992/1993 (W)

Laureth was confused as to why this boy was talking to her of all people. "Thank you...my grandfather thought I needed a...unique name." Her voice was soft and quiet so only Amatus could hear. His name caused her to stiffen and her fingers curled up in Chimera's fur as she thought of how she knew his family name but couldn't place where from. "A Rosier? Interesting. Always thought Rosier's only spoke to their kind." She whispered gently, her voice laced with slight amusement.

Amatus smirked slightly. If she recognized his family name then maybe she really knew more about the Travellers as well. He looked at her thoughtfully for a moment, thinking back to all his lessons with his father. He had told him something about the Erben family, but Amatus had thought that all there members were dead. "Maybe I think you are on of my kind..." he remarked smoothly. Amatus decided to keep an eye on this girl, just in case she turned out to be a Traveller as well. Perhaps an owl send to his father would be able to clear that up.

Laureth could practically feel Amatus' smirk and after a moments silence, she leaned in. "Perhaps I am...But of course I wouldn't tell you if I am or not. Your slight interest in me would disappear and I must say...I enjoy your company." She said in a gentle voice, filled with amusement. They were both travellers and she knew his family was highly powerful. "I do enjoy being a mystery." She mused.

Amatus had to chuckle again at her comment. "That is actaully very good as I do so enjoy to discover mysteries." he gave back smirking and to be honest, he was also quite enjoying talking to her. She was different from most of the other girls here and Amatus loved strange people. Still, his interest was there now and he would figure out who she was sooner or later, of that he was sure. "I can be very persistant, so don't be surprised if your secret is uncovered soon." If she wasn't a Traveller, Amatus would probably stop bothering with her after finding out what she was hiding, but if, as he expected, she was ... well, it was always good to have some alleys.

Laureth let a little smile tug at her lips. "Then I shall try to be your biggest mystery." She mused, as one side of her lips curved up into a mischevious smirk. "I shall try to avoid your persistence so this...game can last a little longer. Secrets are always fun to try and figure out.." Ya need the allies, Laur. Allies and friends. If he finds out...he may up and leave. She thought to herself, biting her lip.

"Excellent!" Amatus nodded, satisfied with her reaction. People that carried secrets with them were much more interesting to hang out with than people that told everyone everything that they wanted to hear.
He was also amused to see her slowly losen up around him while before she had been rather distant. "I will accept this as a challenge, it might actually make my stay here more enjoyable." Amatus told her, chuckling his eyes travelling over the other students standing around. He didn't know any of them very well and to be honest, with most he'd just not bother either.

Clara walked through that magical barrier of the mirror, Wolfclaw Academy. It was her first year and she was a little bit scared about the sorting and she also was curious in what house she will be. Now it was time to wait until she gets sorted. She looked around. She had so much one in pre-school, at these parties and stuff but she didn't made much friends there back then. She wishes she had, so she would know someone here. She was little bit scared when the lights went out and heard the voice to get in line. So she did get in that line and wondered what happened. Soon the lights were turned back on and smiled little, she liked it much better.

As the room went black Briar cast her eyes around, none too worried until the candles lit up again to reveal the blade under her chin. If she moved it would nick her although she figured that was the point; why else hold a sword to her throat during a sorting? Though knowing that didn't put her at ease. Giving the man a tight-lipped smile, her eyes warned him to be careful.

Smirking maliciously at the little teen girl in front of him, Philip pushed the blade forward carefully, prickling her skin, allowing a few drops of blood to fall to the floor. The blood then began to dance whilst still on the floor and it came together morphing into a scorpion, "EMPEROR!" Philip exclaimed as the blade fell down, meaning the next student should come to be sorted.

Sin approached the professor smiling only slightly the others seemed to fear him but she found his act amusing.

As a girl came towards him smiling Philip frowned and put the sword against her neck. This was wolfclaw, no one was better than anyone, and she was not gonna act superior than the others. The others were scared so should this girl. Slicing a larger part of her skin off, he dipped the sword deeper into her neck than he did with Briar, much deeper, and then, her blood poured onto the floor and quickly formed a wolf. Philip grinned at the girl as the sword's tip hit the floor.

Her neck was cut deeply but she barely flinched her father had done worse and this felt like nothing she allowed her smile to fall though. He was head of Wolfen, she was the heir but she would respect his standing. As the blood turned into a wolf she clasped her fist over her heart the heir's ring flashing in the light. Turning away she smiled and howled as she ran to her houses' table.

Lethia felt a soft growl in her throat as her sister's neck was cut deeper than Briars but stepped forward when it was her turn. Her smirk was wider than her sisters and she stared up at Philip, with expressionless eyes.

His grip around the sword tightened as he took a step closer to the girl, "Thank you," he told her and pushed the sword into her gut. Then, he pulled the sword out and letting the girl's blood drip to the floor, once again forming a wolf, "For being an example," he drawled loudly, and then motioned for her to leave his sight, as his patience began to slowly run out.

Sin was by lethia's side in a second grabbing her before she stumbled. Kissing her cheek her strong arms held her tight, she could feel Conner closing in on her and even Laureth's protective gaze "Example?" she spat "we've had worse done to us Professor we just keep causing trouble it'll be fun getting to know which of your buttons to push" she sneered taking a step back her grip on Thia tightening.

Lethia furrowed her brow for a moment at his thank you but felt the cold blade pierce her causing a loud groan. She stumbled for a moment as the blade left her gut and glanced at her sister, her eyes darkening. ''This'll be a fun couple of years, Professor.'' She spat out and stood up, despite the blood pouring from her gut. Chimera rushed over and helped Sin take Lethia away whilst Laureth stepped forward, knowing what had happened but she wasn't afraid.

Holding the sword he cackled, "Indeed, however I must advise, read some of our books and know the story of Reaper Grimm," he then turned to Laureth, and seeing her features remain expressionless, he nodded, and left only a small cut on her neck. The blood fell to the floor, and it formed a spider, which would mostly please the headmistress, "ARANEAE!"

Tala though a second year had to be sorted, impatient she followed the scent of blood to the front. A bone between her fingers she rubbed the cracks as she stood before him, she inclined her head in his direction "Hmm good things I've heard of you Professor Phillip Malfoy, i look forward to learning much from you" her covered eyes in his direction though she could see him she kept herself expressionless and waited.

Once again seeing another girl with no smirk whatsoever made Philip nod in approval her words fell in deaf ears as he cut her skin, her blood forming a spider, "ARANEAE" he shouted.

Amatus had been watching the new students get sorted one after another and sneered slightly at the childish behaviour of some girls. Did they really think trying to piss of a teacher made them special? He snorted and shook his head. Only children did something like this. That ... or idiots of the worst kind.
Finally it was his turn and Amatus stepped forward, keeping his face clear of any emotions, only inclining his head slightly in a polite greeting. Then he waited to be sorted.

Seeing a sharp looking boy Philip grinned at how respectful and mature he seemed to be. Quickly he felt the need to laugh because Lethia had really been an example, considering no one after her had been so childish. Doing the smallest cut possible on the boy's neck, his blood dripped onto the floor, and it morphed into a vicious tarantula, "ARANEAE!"

A small smirk played around Amatus' lips when his house was announced. Nodding at his professor, he walked towards his new house mates. Two girls so far and one was the girl he had been talking to before.

Conner saw as each student had blood drawn in different fashion, his jaw tightening as he watch the twins damaged more than any so far. But, such was the way of the one sorting them. Stepping forward, Conner kept his face expressionless, and, focusing his eyes on the man and tipping his head slightly out of respect for the professor, waited for his sorting.

The sword fell on the boy's throat, as Philip narrowed his eyes. The boys seemed to understand how to behave better than the girls. He expected that obviously, because once his sons came to school, they'd have to behave. Respect him, Amelia, Venus and everyone else. If not he wouldn't have a problem in punishing them. He'd stab them just as quick as he did that Delmar Twin. Cutting a tad of skin off Conner's neck, his blood poured from his neck and from the tip of the sword, dripping to the floor. The blood came together magically and morphed into a scorpion, "EMPEROR," he shouted.

Clara did saw how this sorting did went by and she wasn't really so confident in this like others seemed to be. She just wasn't really fan of the blood, that's all. She didn't like it just so much for some reason. It was basically now her turn to get to sorted. She stepped forwards still, she needed to get sorted. She wanted to get over with it.
