Don't Get Caught (Invite Only)

"Don't get caught!" Carmen heard a voice hiss as she wrapped her coat around herself. She knew that her dorm mate was only concerned about a loss of house points if she was caught being out after curfew. But she needed the book that she had left in the alcove where she had been studying earlier that day. There was an assignment that they'd only been given one night to complete, and there was no way that she was going to allow it to be her first time not finishing homework on time. "I won't."

She left the common room carefully, luckily not having any trouble getting down the tower and into the corridor. She tried her best to remain in the shadows so that she had less chance of being seen. There was still ten minutes until she was supposed to be back in the common room, but she knew that it would probably take longer than that to retrieve her book.

She finally made it to the alcove and picked the book up, before turning around to head back to the dormitories as quickly as she could. Checking her watch, the curfew had passed by only a few minutes, so she was sure that if a nice professor came across her, she'd be fine.
