Slytherin! (Invite Only)

Astoria couldn't believe that she was finally there, at Hogwarts. Her older sister, Daphne, had spent all of the holidays since her first year telling Astoria all about how great it was to learn magic, rather than have it happen to you. The hall had been huge, especially for just young children. Her eyes sought her older sister's at the table of green, but she couldn't find them.

She had been nervous, as she was sure all of the other children were. Being sorted seemed to be the thing that she was most nervous about. What is she wasn't in Slytherin? Even worse, what is she was put in Hufflepuff! The only person in her family so far to have been anywhere other than Slytherin has been Astoria's aunt Alexis. Said Aunt said that Ravenclaw wasn't so bad, but Astoria wanted to be in the house with her sister.

Thankfully, the sorting hat had been listening to her thoughts and agreed that she belonged in the house of the Snake. So now she was seated, not far down from her sister, happily eating her first dinner at Hogwarts.
