Opening Feast 1991 (Hogwarts)

Bruce quickly set the hat on Ricardo, and it began to think, "Hmmmm" it moaned several times before, "Ah!" and then suddenly, "Oh well...Gryffindor!" it yelled hysterically.

Ricardo's eyes widened even further, if that was humanly possible, as he hopped off the bench and happily made his way to the Gryffindor table that had erupted into cheers, even after the discomfort Magnus had caused. He sat next to Chase, and smiled at her, before looking on at the staff.

Emrys grinned and nudged Magnus in the shoulder "good to see you here mate" she said to him looking at her friend and fellow first year. "though you couldn't be anywhere else"

Chase looked over at the sorting watching as one of the last few boys were sorted. Many of her fellow gryffindors were still up in airs over harry joining them but her eyes remained on the last few.
As Ricardo joined her table she looked at him, he was taller for there age part of her really wondered if he was really eleven "hey ricky" she said instantly nicknaming him "Welcome to gryffindor"

"Thanks Chase!" Ricardo said brightly. This was a happy occasion, and although he was feeling somewhat tired, from everything that had happened, he still enjoyed the company of those of his house, "Glad to be in your house," he said with a chuckle.

Edward watched the sprting ceremony from his own table, Hufflepuff. He noticed there were a lot of Gryffindors and Slytherins this year. As the sorting ceremony came to an end, he turned to his friends. "I didn't know that Snape had son, i didn't even know that he had a lady at his side." Edward joked and his friends nodded and laughed with him.

Ember clapped softly the moment Ricardo joined the table. Turning around in her chair, she looked at Malphas and Magnus with hardened eyes whilst Artemis simply smirked, chest puffed out with pride. Ember rolled her eyes and turned back around, smiling. ''Welcome to Gryffindor, Ricardo.'' She said with a grin.

Artemis smirked as her sister turned around. She was proud to be in the house she had always wanted to be apart of and with the Gaunts as well, she couldn't stop thinking about how good of a life she'll have at Hogwarts.

Ricardo turned to the other and girl and hid back a yawn, "Thanks, Ember!" Ricardo answered brightly.

Rowan jumped when Misha appeared next to her at the Ravenclaw table. She was happy to know at least one person now that she was here. "I can't wait to see it," Rowan whispered back. As the sorting continued, she was surprised by how many Gryffindors and Slytherins there were, but then again, there were a rather large amount of them. She was sure this was going to be a great year!

Micha giggled, excited about things to come. "Wait to see our common room! It's in tower, so close to sky! We have beautiful view and of course, books everywhere!" she whispered to Rowan to get her excited. "I am so glad you are here!" she added, happy to see Rowan in her house.

Rowan's eyes lit up at hearing that they would be in one of the towers and have a stunning view of the grounds. She had heard about it, but to be here and to know that was where she was going to be staying for the duration of her time at Hogwarts.... It was almost too good to be true! "I'm glad to be here, too. I can't wait to see it all!" she said, her whispers growing more and more excited. As more students from her house introduced themselves, Rowan was beginning to feel at home already.

"And wait for the food!" Misha added. She quite liked food in the castle. Even if there were days she couldn't resist and went home to eat. After all, she had serious doubts anyone here would understand her diet.
