Opening Feast 1976

Jocelyn was sitting at the Slytherin table, her eyes were big with suprise, she had never seen so much food in her entire life. She looked around the table, there were chicken wings, mashed potatoes, carrots and other vegetables. So much food, Jocelyn didn't know where to begin, she she didn't began yet instead she grabbed her goblet and took little sips of her drink.

Morana walked into the Great Hall and sat to the Slytherin table, lost in nostalgia while watching first years to get sorted. It seemed so long ago, when she was sitting under Sorting Hat as well. Not for long tho. She was heir of Slytherin after all, it was obvious where the Hat will put her. Now she was sitting there, waiting for some others to arrive.

Eric took his seat at the Gryffindor table. It was full of food and he immediately tucked in. He hadn't had a meal like this in a long time. All he could think about now was when he could lie down in his four poster bed. The thought of it made him feel good. As he sat there eating his mind wondered to Quidditch and he was hoping they had Slytherin first. He wanted that Quidditch cup badly and even though the year had just started he was already hungering for that cup.

Barty left his dorm fully clothed in his slytherin robes he sauntered down to the great hall. Entering the hall he walked down the tables when he saw a familar raven head. Making his way over to her he leaned down next to her a soft but firm hand on her shoulder "so we meet again Morana" he said his tongue slipping ever so slightly as he hissed into her ear.

Morana looked at him and then went back to her food with no intention to answer him. She was pissed he left without a word last time. Even if she quite like the way he was mysterious and dark, she was still a Gaunt lady, she couldn't let him think he can walk away without saying a word. Even if she wanted to. And Morana didnt want to.

He chuckled darlkly at her lack of response a hand toying with her long dark hair "Angry with me little miss gaunt? everyone in the wizarding world wil treat you and your sister like queens but Not i"

Scowling, Severus stalked over to the Slytherin house table and sat down next to some of his house mates. He watched the sorting drag on for what seemed like hours, but was only a few minutes in reality , his thought turning inwards. Another year was awaiting him and he wanted to get best grades in his OWLs by the end of the year.
His eyes ran over the cheerful faces of the Gryffindor students searching for his friend Lily, but she was nowhere to be seen, neither were Potter and his stupid friends, not that Severus cared much about them. "Maybe they fell asleep on the train and went back to London" he thought snickering.
Around him, his house mates had taken up conversations already and as always, Severus was kind of lost in all the chatting.

Morana smirked. It would be nice if everyone did that. Or at least all those annoying Gryffindors. How much she would enjoy givind orders to Marauder prats. She had to smirk even more when she imagined it. "Miss Gaunt or someone else, it is still inapropriate from someone like you to walk away without a single word when conversation is not over," she said coldly. "And for the record, Crouch, I don't need you to treat me like queen, but if i want to, I can always make you," she hissed back at him and went back to her food.

Barty sat next to her and laughed "My fair lady, there isn't a thing in the world you can make me do, now I can make you do everything in the world" he ran a hand through her hair allowing a admiring look to play across his features. She is making me insane, he thought to himself.

"Okay, first thing. I cant see any way how you can make me do something," started Morana coldly. Truth was she saw one way. She admired him, he was her weakness. She could feel all the power, darkness and insanity he possesed, but she was very good in hiding it. Maybe she even wanted to see what he will do to her. How he will make her to fear him. Maybe she secretly wanted to fear him. "And second, will you stop worshiping my hair?! It looks insane," she hissed and tried not to let him know how much she actually liked this.

His strong hand cupped her chin forcing him to look her in the eye "And my lady how are you unable to see I am actually worshipping you" his voice was deep almost sinister but charming his hand was soft on her skin but his grip was tense enough to tell anyone who looked that she belonged to him.

Severus was ripped out of his thoughts by some younger students chatting next to him and threw a glare at the two of them. That Crouch boy and the Gaunt princess, he thought annoyed. People like that usually didn't talk to him, a simple halfblood at all, not that Severus cared much for the opinion of other people. As long as he had Lily, he was fine. Scowling, he went back to his dinner, greasy hair covering his pale face.

Morana looked into his eyes and really, just like he said, felt fear. Not some kind of horrible fear. It was something she cannot really describe. Why was he doing this to her? Where he gained such power over her? That really frightened her. Not the way he looked at her, the way he held her ar spoke to her, but the way he was slowly possesing her and she didnt know how to fight it. She didnt even know if she wanted to fight it.

His thumb stroked her cheek, he pulled her closer an arm looping around her waste, his lips close but not touching hers. "One day" he said in a husky deep rumble "you will be mine, and when that day comes you will see no one else...no one else but me" his hand on her hip rubbed circles on a piece of bare skin he found, his heavily lidded in eyes drank in her expression. He had her, she would go to no one else.

He smiled at her, she was so beautiful he wished to possess herbut still she made his heart swim with happiness something he never knew. His lips tingled and he wanted to kiss her to claim what he was hoping is her first kiss, "have you ever kissed someone?" he asked without thinking.

Morana was in shock at first and the next second, she wasnt capable of pushing him away. He was simply too close and she had to put all her strenght into not kissing him instantly. Damn, he was doing crazy things to her mind. She knew he was playing his game, but still she was incapable of fighting him. She let the darkness in his eyes to consume her slowly and was woken up by his next question which surprised her a bit. She smiled darkly and went close to his ear just to whisper "Never, there are treasures that every proper Lady should keep to herself till the right moment and for the right person," she whispered softly and then went back to look into his eyes, her smile long gone, only cold expresion, this was something no one else was supposed to know after all.

He gave her a small hopeful smile one that let her see through the shrouded darkness that owned his soul. He moved in and kissed her gently on the cheek and said "I am very glad to hear that" he leaned back to give her some room and to show her despite his longing he respected her. He opened his mouth to say something an owl swooped into the great hall and perched itself on his head with a loud hoot.

Scowling he took the owl into his lap and reading the letter he all but tossed it out the window "you will have to excuse me Morana" he said getting up "But i have to go...an emergency hase come up" he turned to leave then stopped, taking her hand in his he kissed the back of it his lips and the beginnings of a beard leaving a soft mark "until we meet again" with that he was gone from the hall.

Morana returned his smile to show him her understanding and felt a bit sad when he leaned back from her, but she understood why he did that and that made her adore him even more. She never really payed attention to him before, but now he could see he was all she longed for and that was making her crazy. She saw owl coming and than only hear him talking about leaving. She nodded when he said his goodbye to her and smiled again when he was gone. It seemed like they made some progress since the last time. She only wondered who sent him the letter at this time. It must have been his idiotic father. Morana still didn't understand how could Crouch senior miss this. Barty was surrounded by darkness for quite some time now. And Morana was glad for it. Yet she still didn't understand how could someone's father not see it and protect his own son.

Marvolo walked into the great hall running a hand through her hair she glanced at the room full of people before looking for her seat.

Celania took her time getting to the great hall, content to stroll along. She was whistling a cheerful tune by the time she entered the great hall, pushing the doors open with greater force than necessary. "Hello cousins," she called out upon seeing Marvolo who must have arrived just before she did. Her voice rang out disturbing those around her and earning her a few glares which she promptly ignored. "I heard you got adopted," she said with a grin before looping her arm around her dragging her towards where she saw Morano seated.

Marvolo smiled broadly Celania was the only person in her life she cared for other then Morana "We did" she said looping an arm around her waist to steer her to the slytherin table "We live in the Czech Republic now, adopted by the deputy headmistresss of wolfclaw, can you even fathom it?"

She arched a brow and whistled low. "The deputy headmistress you say?" She grinned. "Now that's something you don't hear everyday. Is she as mysterious as the school?" Honestly she was surprised to hear it all. But she had to admit that if anyone were to adopt them it would be someone of her caliber.

"We haven't had any real time with her" she said sitting next to Moran of whom she dropped a kiss on her sister's cheek "we moved in and found a note telling us we'd see her this weekend"

"That's odd," she said sitting on the other side of Marvolo but not before giving Morano a quick hug. She placed her arms on the table and rsted her head on them, making sure to keep her head turned towards them. "And how is my other favourite cousin? Still cold as always?" She teased Morano.
