"Daaa-aaad!" Mio called down the stairs. "Can I take my broom with me to Hogwarts?" the excited boy was packing his trunk, for tomorrow he would be leaving his home for his first year at the magical school. A grin split on his face as he thought about all the great things he could do once he was away from his parents' watchful eye.
"Mio ... " came a growl from behind him and the boy quickly turned to grin at his father. "Yes?" he asked hopefully. "First years are not allowed to play quidditch, as you well know and I'd rather not think about the trouble you would get up to if you had access to your broom." his dad told him in a stern voice and at Mio's pout, he added "That means, no!"
Shaking his head, his father went back down the stairs, muttering about troublesome children, which made his son laugh and roll his eyes.
