Anora stood at the latest crime scene, Dylan Wright a muggleborn researcher. His wife and children were simply gone or have not been found, his body was found charmed to a wall in the back of his house. his body had already been taken in to be examined, but she wanted to look for more clues on her own.

It might have been unwise of her to look around on her own.. but she couldn't help it. There must be something the killer left behind... anything? Perhaps even return?

She sighed as she looked at the house.. the place looked haunted now. Violated by Dark magic.. Something horrible happened.

Anora continued her walk down the neighborhood looking for anything unusual.

Dominic exhaled through his nose as he made his way through the neighborhood. He had to go back. With any luck, the object was well-hidden in the aftermath of the scuffle, or was dropped during his leave. It would be dark soon... hopefully the object will go unnoticed. Worst case scenario: aurors would on the scene and already collected the thing. Sure enough – in the distance, Dominic could see a group of the nosy buggers gathered around the house. Damn it!

He just spotted the metallic object when he noticed yet another auror on the prowl through the block. Dominic paused in his trek and just lightly covered the small item he didn’t want the magical authorities to find with his foot. To add to why he would just stop, Dominic muttered a spell to undo the lace on one of his shoes. Remaining here with an auror headed almost directly for him would likely mean he’d have to chat and answer questions... Thank Merlin he conveniently wasn’t from here, or even recently moved here. A smirk twisted the wizard’s lips.

“Pleasant evening for a stroll...” Dominic said to the approaching auror.

Anora eyed a movement of a man not far from her down the road and went to investigate, she hadn't seen him before and they had interviewed all the neighbors on the street. She was simply curious for now. What was he doing here? And Why? Where did he live? What did he do? Who was he? All these questions she need answered.

She quirked an eyebrow at his statement, to her is seemed to be a dark and sad day out and chill seemed to be settling in the air even though it was summer. " That remains to be seen sir, I must inform you, you are taking your own stroll too close to a crime scene. Might I know your name and what brings you here?" She asked bluntly as she showed off her Aurors badge.

Dominic lifted his eyebrows with surprise. ”A crime scene? I had no idea...” he lied, looking at the house ahead and back to the auror he’d had the brilliant idea to try and start casual conversation with. And now she was going to ask him an incessant string of questions. Dominic could feel them all... Thank Merlin she was only starting with two, instead of five, like his brother Nicholas used to do when they were kids. Training for this line of work likely forced Nick to slow down with the questions – something he made a mental note to bring up the next time he saw his eldest brother.

”Dominic Travers. I just got off work a bit ago and thought I’d go for a walk. I live in Ottery Saint Catchpole, but wanted a little change of scenery... walking the same old streets gets a bit dull after a while,” he explained, frowning slightly.

”What happened up there, anyway? I don’t come up here often, but when I do it’s typically a peaceful place...”
