Welcome Home (Morgan)

Remus sat on the front steps of his home, his parents had gone for the weekend to see his Aunt and he was left alone. After a lengthy talk with his parents they had agreed to let him ask Morgan to move in, the next step had not been so easy, he had gone to see her Parent's whom werent to pleased with having a half bred werewolf showing up in there doorstep.

After a long talk they finally conceeded that if Morgan wished she could live with him. After speaking to them further he had departed to send her an owl.

He had an entire evening set up leading up to the life changing question, it wasn't as big as asking her to marry him but it would change things but its what he wanted, he wanted her here with him always.

Morgan walked from where she had been dropped off to Remus' house. An owl had shown up from him asking for her to join him at his home. Her parents seemed a little more tense than usual that day, and she held that to her grandparents must have had another 'talk about Morgan' with them. If that was the case, she was glad to be going to see Remus.

She rounded the corner and spotted her Remus sitting on the front steps. "Remus!" she called as she jogged to meet him.

Rising to his feet remus crushed her into his arms kissing her forhead "hello love"

Morgan wrapped her arms tightly around him as he held her tightly. She let out a happy sigh at once again being in his embrace. It felt good to be there. "You summoned me?" she teased looking up with her bright eyes.

"yes" he purred as he led her around the back of the house. The yard was decorated with a picnic and christmas lights hung around everywhere creating a small oasis. "Surpsie"

As Morgan's eyes fell on the surprise picnic, she smiled brightly. Looking back at Remus, her eyes seemed to be filled with twinkling stars as the smal lights reflected in them. "This is wonderful! What the occasion?" she asked looking at the lights that seemed to come from everywhere as she reached out a finger and gently touched one.

"the occasion is I love you" he said leading her to the blanket as they sat a hawk circled over them then fllew to the ground landing on his arm "this is Loki" he said introducing the hawk to her.

"And, I love you," she said as he lead her to the blanket. As they sat, she watched a hawn circle and fly down to them, landing on Remus' arm. This is Loki... Morgan smiled at the magnificent bird. "Nice to meet you, Loki. Remus has told me all about you," she said as she reached out to stroke his feathers, but stopped before touching him. She looked at Remus to see if it was alright to do so.

Remus nodded, gently picking the bird up he perched him on her knee, Loki screeched at him with dissaproval but dutifully placed his head under her hand. With a chuckle he poured them both a glass of pumpkin juice into champagne flutes and handed her one. "I made toasted cheese sandwhiches with tomato and pesto" he explained as he laid out the food "along with a green salad made with vegetables from our garden with areganato dressing" making sure everything was perfect he smiled at her.

Morgan gently stroked Loki's feathers. "You are a very handsome fellow," she said to the bird with a smile. Taking the flute he offered her, Morgan grinned and winked at Remus, "As are you." At hearing the menu for the picnic, Morgan giggled, "It sounds amazing. I didn't know you had a garden, Remus." Morgan held up her glass and made a toast, "To happiness, life, and love."

With a indigent squawk Loki flew off to hunt and Remus chuckled clinking his glass with hers he smiled "I help my mum in the garden often she's a muggle so she works her own magic her own ways" he gestured that they could eat as he picked up a bit of sandwhich.

Morgan picked up a piece of sandwich and took a bite. "You are quite the chef, Remus. This is delicious," she said as she finished her piece of sandwich. "How wonderful to be able to work a magic like this," she said gesturing to the fresh vegetables and dishing up some salad. "Do you know how to work this magic, too?" she asked as she ate the fresh greens.

"Well i lvoe to be out doors and I love to bring life to the garden and see it flourish we take in animals as well, injured and stray the only thing good that came out of being bitten was my sudden affinity for animals it helps to tell the animals to stay away" he ate as he talked "Mother and father adore you, you know. They think you are perfect and thye think right."

"Maybe you can teach me, sometime?" she asked as she ate with a smile. As he told about what all his family does at the house, garden and animal care, Morgan smiled. His getting bitten was a kind of blessing in disguise, she reasoned. "That explains how you are so good with animals. Why the kittens really took to you...." she mused, remembering the day Remus got her Star. The kittens were all over him! Morgan took a drink of pumpkin juice before saying, "Your family is wonderful, Remus. They are so kind. But, they've only met me a few times over the summer. How can they think that about me already?" She thought about how her parents had reacted when they found out about Remus. First about his blood status of being a halfblood, and then later about his being a werewolf. Perfect.... That wasn't the term they would use for him, but Morgan.... Morgan would.

"they are a good judge of people" looking at the food he felt like he was going to explode with anticipation "i have another surprise for you" he said holding out his hand.

Morgan blushed slightly at his simple explanation of how they can see her that way already. She took a drink and looked at Remus with bright eyes filled with questions, as she put her hand in his. A soft smile spread across her face. "You are always full of surprises," she said brightly.

"well someone keeps inspiring me" he said with a smile, leading her away from there meal a few feet he waved his wand and soft music began to play, placing a hand on her waist and another holding her hand he began to dance with her.

Morgan's blush deepened as she smiled and was lead from the picnic. As the music began to drift on the air around them, she felt his hand on her waist as he held her hand. Morgan placed her free hand on his shoulder and began to move with him in the dance he was leading. Her grey-blue eyes met his grey ones, a smile shining in them just for him. She reached up and kissed his his cheek gently. "You are perfect to me...." she cooed to him, as she continued to dance with him.

He kissed her softly as they moved, the music picked up speed and he moved them faster a bit, spinning her outward he let go of her hand and let her stumble a bit, smiling as she stopped by a tree branch where a key hung from a chain glistening like jewerly "Morgan" he said slipping his arms around her waist "will you move in with me? I got permission from everyone even your parents"

Morgan returned his gentle kiss as the music increased in tempo. She followed Remus as his dance also increased in speed. Morgan laughed lightly as he spun her and then let her go. She spun on her own a little before stumbling slightly. When she righted herself, she was laughing and noticed she was standing under a tree branch. Her eyes spotted something something glittering in the sun, but didn't get a chance to see what it was as Remus was in her line of sight after she stopped spinning. Will you move in with me? he asked as he slipped his arms around her waist.

Morgan's eyes locked on him. Her expression went blank as she thought about what she had just heard him say. Move in with me..... "Are you serious?" she asked happily, her smile beginning to come back. "My parents are really ok with me coming to live with you....here?" she asked, still trying to wrap her mind around what was happening.

He nodded smiling "I had tea with them last week and we spoke over a great many things but in the end they decided to grant this wish"

Morgan was stunned. Where had she been last week that she completely missed this? Funny how now she was unable to think of something as simple as that now. She looked away and ran one hand though her blonde hair. This had to be why her parents had seemed a little on edge as of late. It wasn't because her grandparents were having 'the talk' about her again. It was because their 15 year old daughter was being asked to move in with her 17 year old halfblood, werewolf boyfriend.

"How did you get them to say yes, Remus?" she asked, bringing her hands to his chest and focusing on something unseen on his shirt.

"I explained to them something we all know my love, that war is coming and since your alliances are leaning away from there desires you'd be safest here with me...after some arguing they agreed...they love you and want you safe...and if safe means you are with your blood traitor werewolf bastard then so be it"

The words he used to describe himself were obviously those of her father. She had heard him use them in reference to Remus before. She looked up at him and smiled. "I'm sorry my father spoke to you that way," she said with a sigh. "They don't understand..... And your parents? They are..... They are ok with this, too?" she asked.

Remus laughed loudly "are you kidding? Mother is over joyed! she is tired of being around men all the time an father thinks its a great idea, the more the merrire and darling do not apologize I called your father a few choice words myself we came to a understanding"
