Welcome Home (Morgan)

The words he used to describe himself were obviously those of her father. She had heard him use them in reference to Remus before. She looked up at him and smiled. "I'm sorry my father spoke to you that way," she said with a sigh. "They don't understand..... And your parents? They are..... They are ok with this, too?" she asked.

Remus laughed loudly "are you kidding? Mother is over joyed! she is tired of being around men all the time an father thinks its a great idea, the more the merrire and darling do not apologize I called your father a few choice words myself we came to a understanding"

Morgan smiled at hearing that his parents, both of them, were more than happy to welcome her into their home. "I can only imagine what you might have said to my father. Out of curiosity what did you say to him?" she asked with an impish grin. Her father was a stubborn man, more so than her mother, and coming to an 'understanding' wasn't something that happened that often, nor as quickly as he was making it seem. A feet such as that required hearing about.

He walked over to her and took the key off the branch and said "I told him he was being a selfish racists pig that he was undeserving of you if he wouldn't accept and love you, then he slapped me for saying he didnt love you but then said he couldn't protect you like this and if i could then i was doing the right thing"

Tears welled in Morgan's eyes as she heard what her father had said about her. They were willing to still love her has she was. They were willing to see that with the trouble that was looming, perhaps they were unable to keep her safe as parents should keep their children safe in times like this, and this was their chance to make sure that she could be in a place where she would not only be safe, but with someone who loved her dearly. As they started to slip down her cheeks, she bit her bottom lip to help her fight back her tears. She was proud to be their daughter.

Morgan slipped her hand into Remus' and smiled up at him. "I will.... I would be happy to move in, to live here..... with you and your parents," she said quietly.

Remus kissed her happilly then slipped the key around her neck "i can't beleive it i'll have you all the time!"

Morgan kissed him and smiled brightly, her eyes glistening with both happy and proud tears. As Remus slipped the key to her new home around her neck she threw her arms around him, holding him tightly, "No. We will have each other...."
