Clearing the Air (Bruce)

Marvolo stood in the clearing in the forest where she usually practiced when she needed time to think. The lasting damage on the trees around her told of when she had moments of lost control, broken limbs and burn marks scattered the area.

Only one month along in her pregnancy she didn't yet need to conceal her body with charms only having a slight bump protruding from her abdomen. She still wasn't ready to slip into a much more cautious life style.

Counting down from ten the spell she had set up exploded causing flames to fly towards her rapidly, on five she through her body into a backflip gracefully folding herself out of harm's way she threw a dagger towards the source pinning the enchanted trap as she landed.

Whipping her forhead of sweat she evaluated her aim and shook her head, sirius had distracted her so much the previous year and she had become sloppy..to sloppy.

A small, not too loud clap was heard. "Not too bad..." Bruce said, watching the young girl. The forest was more of a home than any other place in Hogwarts. Not even the Slytherin common room could be compared.

Bruce didn't move, as he stood against a tree. Although he had a smile on his face, his eyes showed worry. Marvolo shouldn't be doing such things while she had their little kid grow inside her. Something could go wrong.

She turned to him and smiled "could be better, i let myself go soft" she walked over to him and kissed him softly "why so concerned love"

Bruce reciprocated her kiss, smiling sweetly. "Don't go too soft on me," he joked, before showing seriousness. He placed his hand on her stomach. "This." He said, with a concerned tone.

She laid her hand over his and smiled, happiness at how he reminded her of the baby inside her showed on her face "Were fine baby" she said snuggling into his chest "i dont have to slow down till my third month"

Bruce sighed, kissing her forehead. "Promise me you will slow down by then. I don't want neither of you hurt." He said, talking both to her and to the baby. "Have you found a way of making sure no one realizes that you're carrying my child?" he asked, proudly.

She sighed "I wish everyone could know.." she mumbled but then nodded "i've researched a few glamours as to how to hide my appearence" she rolled up the hem of her shirt and the tiny bump on her flat stomach looked more like added weight then pregnancy "for now I don't need to hid it" she took his hand and placed it on the bump as she smiled up at him.

Bruce breathed deeply, "I also wish that. War's very close. So we can't risk it." he said, looking at her stomach. "But, are you sure you need to hide it? You may be related to Lord Voldemort, but still. Think they would attack you just to make you lose the baby? Many people may think that's Sirius's and they won't want to harm the baby." he responded. Of course, he wished to let people know the baby belonged to him. But that'd be inappropriate.

She shook her head as she rolled her shirt down "I wont risk the life of this child on pure chance, and I don't want Black thinking he has a place in our child's life" she walked over to the tree and pulled her dagger from it "anyone who is in our inner circle will know i am pregnant and that you are the father just like they know I am yours and not that fool's"

Bruce sighed, shaking his head. "Don't call him that. You'll just be saying you did what you did for a fool. Is that really what you want people to think? That Marvolo Eris Gaunt once ended her own life for a fool?" he asked, still with the same worried tone. He was no fool himself. He knew damn she still loved the Black child.

"your right" she sighed "I've got alot on my mind..."

"Listen, I know you still feel something for him. And that's okay. I understand." He said, placing a friendly hand on her shoulder. "I'm here both if you need to talk or if you need love. That's what it means to love someone to me..." he said, smiling kindly. Marvolo brought out the good side in him. And he loved her for it.

She smiled at him gratefully "I don't deserve you Bruce" she sat down on one of the boulders in the clearing "this is just nerve racking the last time I was pregnant...." she held up her shirt where the scar from the through an through stab wound shined out in the sun "Sirius killed it....so i guess I am paranoid and now that I am away from him and I see how wonderful you are it makes me confused as to why I ever got close to him.."

The grass under Bruce started to vibrate, as his veins started to show. His body pumped, as his eyes turned into a dark brown. Passing his fingers by the stab mark, a fire erupted in his eyes. "How...dare he..." He growled darkly. "How dare he touch you like that..."

"He was posessed but still..." she touched the mark "I wanted to die the moment I heard my child was gone...I begged him to stop..."

Bruce's anger was slowly being brought back. "Possessed?" He asked, lifting an eyebrow.

"He wasn't being himself" she said looking at him "it was so sudden i'd given him his christmas present and he just did it, no argument or pre-meditation, afterwards he was panicing and apologizing and he said he had been controlled"

"He's gonna have to explain a lot. To me!" Bruce said, thunders of rage imploding within him. "Wait, he got you pregnant too?" Bruce suddenly asked, only then getting aware of the situation. Black had actually got Marvolo pregnant before...

She looked away shamefully and nodded "I wasn't even aware yet..."

Bruce pulled his woman to him possessively. "Yeah, now you're gonna have my child. Mine!"

She looked up at him, loving the feeling of being in his arms "Your not disgusted..?"

Bruce shrugged slightly, holding his woman close. "Because you were pregnant before? No. Not a bit. It's not like you had his kid, now is it?" He inquired smugly.
