A Beautiful Addiction (Philip) Empty A Beautiful Addiction (Philip)

Post by Guest Wed Jul 31, 2013 11:35 pm

In the shadows of a booth in the back of the Three Broomsticks, Briana held a book in one hand and ran her finger around the top of her empty crystal goblet, making the crystal sing an eerie hum. A single candle was lit on her table and cast a lovely glow on her face, especially her crystal blue eyes. Her blonde hair was pulled up and secured with a white jade HAIR STICK. She wore a green baby-doll tee with a green watercolor wash shirt and her white sandals. Around her neck and wrist were matching white jade jewelry, and on her right ring finger, a gorgeous RING. As she read, a smile toyed with her lips. Folk lore was a personal favorite for Briana now. After the change she had undergone only months ago, she liked to read about different stories about others like herself. Yes, it was good to be alive, even in this form...

"May I sit with you?" Philip asked the woman abruptly. He had been eyeing the woman closely, and found her quite attractive. She definitely knew how to dress up. Philip had waited for the other tables to fill, to ask the woman for a place in the table. He wasn't an ignorant. He wanted to have fun, and didn't feel like going all the way to Amelia. Surely, this attractive young lady would fall pray to his special enchantments. "My apologies, but the other tables are filled." He said, with his charming tone. His reflected his ever growing lust. "My name is..." Philip contemplated if he should say his name or not. "...Tom. Tom Prince." He lied, still standing tall next to the woman. "What would your name be, my beautiful lady?" He asked, taking a small bow.

Briana stopped running her finger around the edge of her goblet and raised her pristine blue eyes to the man who asked to join her as all the tables around her were full. He was very, very handsome indeed. She smiled sweetly at him, not showing her teeth, and when she spoke, her sharpened canines remained hidden. "Seeing as they are all filled, why not. Please," she offered him the seat next to her and closed her book. "It's a pleasure to meet you Tom. I'm Briana. Briana Yaxley," she answered him. He was quite the flatterer.

Philip smiled, as his bright white teeth shone. Philip took a seat, next to Briana, carefully and silently. "Such a pretty name Briana. Glad I ran into you, as I much rather pass my time with a blooming young woman, than with drunk peasants. Although the Three Broomsticks has a reputation of only letting fine people inside," he stated, slowly putting his hand on her shoulder. Of course the woman wasn't instantly gonna let him do what he wanted. Unless his charm began to take effect. "Were you reading anything interesting, my dear?" He asked, with a small chuckle, as he moved his other hand in the air slightly, summoning a butter beer. His other hand caressed that girl's neck. What the hell was he doing? As soon as he noticed, his eyes widened just slightly, and he hoped she wouldn't mind.

Briana was flattered by Tom's compliments, but as he sat and began to touch her in a manner that pointed clearly to his motives, she inched away slightly, putting herself just out of his reach. The motion would simply seem as if she was giving him more room. He might be handsome to boot, but she wasn't just some easy lay waiting to be bedded. "I'm glad I can offer you some company that will help you pass the time, Tom. And, thank you for allowing me to be that company," she said. She then showed him the cover of the book she had been reading, Folk Lore of Dark Creatures and Dark Times. "It's a collection of my favroite tales from all over the world," she said with a smile, the candlelight reflecting off her bright eyes as she looked at him.

Philip noticed Briana move away slightly, and he put his head down, chuckling a bit. "Why should I not allow thee to be next to me. I am not special in any way, but at least, it seems a nice fair lady has decided to be at my side," he said, lifting his head up again, his hair moving as if a slight breeze just it it. He looked at the book's cover, whistling. "Interesting. Any creature that excites you the most Briana? My favorites happen to be the well known vampires. I've met some female versions of those amazing beings. They are astonishingly beautiful." Philip said, still naive to a certain detail. Of course the vampire he was mentioning was Amelia, but Briana didn't need to know that.

Briana smiled slightly, "A lovely lady has offered you a place to join her as all the other spaces were filled," she commented lightly. "And I am sitting next to you, just don't have to be right next to you," she added playfully. He was smooth and good with words, she had to give him that. But, there was just something about him that was...different. She watched his reaction to the book she was reading, and her eyes sparkled in the candlelight when he mentioned vampires. So, he had met some like her and lived to tell the tale. She wasn't going to lie, she was impressed with that. "Vampires are among my favorites, too. They are.....intriguing creatures..." she said, her eyes darkening just the slightest bit, hardly noticeable. Intriguing was a light term for what they, she, was, but she figured, if he had been in contact with others like herself, then in time, he will figure out what she was. She decided then that it was up to him to figure it out.

Philip let out a grin, chuckling slowly, "What really matters is that we're close to each other. I enjoy being close to smart women," he continued. This woman resisted his first attempt, but surely she'd fall now. Philip brought himself closer to Briana again, elbow on the table, with a smirk. That woman was beautiful. No doubt about that. But was she able to be as exciting as Amelia? Philip didn't even wish so. No one was able to climb up to Amelia's standards. Even if they were just as pretty. "Intriguing to some, but I know many of them. They're so...enticing. Know what to say, and know what to do!" He said, lifting his hand to touch her hair again, twirling it, looking directly at the girl. She did have something that made him want her more than other women. That he admitted.

Briana laughed lightly at his comment of wanting to be close and enjoying being close to smart women. He certainly didn't give up as he, again, moved closer to her. She didn't move away this time, but when he began to play with some of her blonde hair that refused to stay pinned up, she simply ran her fingers down the piece of hair he was twirling, slipping the hair from his fingers and tucking it behind her ear. "You know many? Are you not one yourself?" she teased lightly. "Coming in contact with so many and not being one yourself, you are a lucky one," she added. Briana had come in contact with only one, but the circumstances were quite different than what Tom was talking about, she was sure. A small smile spread to her lips, still concealing her teeth, "Enticing.... That's a good word for vampires. Male or female, I imagine. Beautiful really...." She wasn't lying either. She found creatures such as herself very beautiful.

Philip narrowed his eyes. This woman was resisting. But how could she? He was using his special charm. The one only his kind had. But how could a woman stay so strong? Didn't take a genius to figure out this one was different. "No fangs dear Briana," he said, smiling in a way his teeth were able to be seen. "Lucky? No. I just know what to do to make those creatures be pleased. I can please many people," he continued. Sure enough, Philip had killed vampires in the past. Those who got on his bad side, but Amelia was able to change that. Philip suddenly, jumped from his chair, as his mouth laid next to Briana's ear. "I enjoy vampires. Like yourself..." He whispered. It only made sense. Only Vampires resisted the Veela charm without any problem. Briana kicked him off, now he was sure he knew her secret.

I enjoy vampires. Like yourself... Briana smiled, truly smiled, as he revealed that he now knew her secret. "You must, since you say you have come across many of us and you are still you," she whispered back. When she pulled away, the light glistened off her pure white double-set of needle fangs. Now that he knew about her, she wondered how he figured it out. Then she remembered what she had learned so long ago. A Veela used their powers of seduction and beauty to entice members of the opposite or same sex to do their bidding. The only ones who seemed immune to this were vampires, like herself. "So, are you part or all Veela, Tom?" she asked, again running her finger of her right hand along the rim of her goblet, letting it sing like before Tom joined her.

Philip laughed at the entire situation. Both knew each other's powers. Their little special abilities. But what was the real problem in that? "Half Veela my dear. A rare male Veela. Imagine my surprise when someone I wished to charm resisted me. I say, I actually enjoyed not getting my way for once," he stated. Of course he was lying, he wanted that woman already. Just breathing the same air as her made him shiver, but she was able to resist him. Lucky girl. "And you dear Briana? Are you a born vampire, or were you turned?" He asked, tapping his finger on the table slowly, hearing the goblet sing. Clearly a nice sound, but Philip was more interested in Briana's voice.

"Rare, indeed. But a nice rarity," she said in response to hearing that he was half Veela. Normally, Veelas tended to be female, but it wasn't unheard for for males to be one, too. Briana believed that it suited him, though. He was striking, and his ability make him even more so. "Turned, Tom. I was turned," she brought her hand from the goblet and folded them, placing them on her closed book. "If my mother hadn't turned me, I would have died," she said slowly remembering the event from only a few months ago perfectly. She was interested in him, not just because he was part Veela, but because he was charming. The scent of him filled the area around them and sparked her interest. She believed that she sparked his as well, other than being a vampire. Briana didn't miss the small shiver he had while sitting with her, nor the quickening of his heart the longer he sat next to her. "So, other than sitting with a lovely creature, like me, what brings you to the Three Broomsticks?" she asked, making small talk, drawing the moment out until the perfect time. Briana considered that moment, and a smile appeared at the corner of her mouth. It would be nice, she decided... Very nice, indeed...

"You won't find many of specimens like me. Alive, that is," he answered, as being such rarity, sometimes meant being hunted. Vampires probably knew that all too well. A turned vampire? It seemed this girl had more in common with Amelia, unknowingly to Philip. "I know a turned vampire that is extremely sexy. She was able to get me extremely happy a while back. Who knows, maybe you can do so as well," he said, winking in a flirting manner. "Your mother? Perhaps we have a coincidence. Tell me Briana, now that we know more about each other, who is your mother?" He asked. He knew Amelia surely hadn't turned anyone lately. She seemed to be a bit busy with everything. Philip included. So, Philip instantly thought of that Lestrange miss. Dellen. Another ancient vampire. Why not? Perhaps Dellen was somehow, in contact with Briana. That would be rather interesting for Philip to know. "Ah, this well known pub. Well, I guess you can say it's somewhat peaceful. More than some other places. And I get to meet a lot of people here. You included," he said, gazing at her eyes. He wasn't afraid of vampires. One of the most powerful ones stood in front of him, and he had the courage to slam her into a wall and kiss her. He simply wouldn't be taken down by some pair of teeth, even if very sharp.

If Briana could blush, she was certain she would have at his words of being pleased by a fellow vampire. She was sure she could do the same, in her own way if given the chance, which she was considering highly. When he brought up who had been the one to turn her, she smiled fondly at the memory of the one who did it. "My mother is an ancient vampire named Dellen. She found me beaten viciously and near death. I would have died in her arms had she not turned me..." she said, her voice fading as she finished. It had been a very confusing and difficult time for her. Waking up knowing that you are living, but unable to do some of the things that one dreams about. However, Briana had learned to adjust and was now living a perfectly happy life. "Peace..." she nodded in agreement to his answer for his being in the Three Broomsticks. She had often come her seeking that very thing. "And, I will agree that you do get to meet some very interesting people here," she said glancing around. Then she looked deep into his eyes and smiled sweetly as she cooed to him, "Such as.....yourself."

So Dellen Lestrange had actually helped a soul. Well, it wasn't that hard to believe. Specially since she wasn't as nearly as heartless as Amelia. Amelia would've probably just fed on Briana's poor soul, while Dellen assisted her in being able to live. "Dellen Lestrange saved you? Well, guess some people misjudge her. I for one have never spoken to her. But she has lovely daughters," he commented, smiling, which made a quick flash of white light come from his teeth. He was glad he still had normal teeth, and no vampire had tried to pull one on him. He was smart, but you never knew. Although he wouldn't mind, being a vampire was extremely disgusting when he thought about it. "What a compliment coming from you my dear," He stated, letting out a chuckle, but quickly returning to his old gazing position. "You are more than interesting," he said, with his charming voice, although if any charm was taking effect, it was all natural, "I dare say, for a supposed cold creature of the night, you are lovely."

"She was kind. I wasn't ready to die. At least, not like that. So, she helped," Briana said simply, a glimmer in her eyes. She wasn't surprised at his reaction. Often times, until you get to know a vampire, many view them as evil dark creatures. Which, isn't always the case. Briana returned his smile with a bright white one of her own in response to his comment of Dellen's daughters being beautiful. "I meant it, too. You are interesting, among other things," she said. Attractive was just one of the many other things he was. She liked the look and smell of him. His natural charm was having an effect on her. "Why thank you, Tom. Even without your powers of seduction, you do a good job on your own. You are charming," she said smiling coyly, her fangs flashing slightly in the candlelight.

"Well she did a good job in doing that. Saving you Briana. I consider it a very nice decision," Philip responded, as his butter beer arrived. He slowly took a sip, letting an awe out afterwards. It freshened up his taste, as he slowly passed his tongue by his lips. "Well, thank you dear. Although I'm considered you're average attractive man, not many people compliment me. Not that way anyway," he stated. Women called him handsome non stop. But those women quickly turned uninteresting. That was why Philip went after the ones that were isolated. They were different. "This butter beer is specially sweet. It made my mouth taste that much good. Though don't judge me, I know a lot of other things that can freshen up people's taste," he commented, with a wink, then gazing at her fangs, while taking another sip.

Briana watched as his tongue passed over his lips following Tom's drink of his Butter Beer. She swallowed slightly, interested herself what those lips tasted like. She took a steadying breath as she began to fight her emotions that were intensified thanks to her recent change. She was beginning to lust after Tom, and they had only just met. Granted, he wasn't making it easy for her, Veela or not. "Well, Tom, I wouldn't have said it if I didn't believe it was true," she said smiling. She laughed lightly at his coy comment about knowing several other things that make one's taste freshen, other than Butter Beer. Briana gave in slightly to the strong emotion she was feeling and boldly placed a hand gently, high on his thigh, giving it a soft squeeze. She seductively wet her lips slightly and leaned in close to his ear to whisper, "Perhaps you can share your knowledge with me...." Being this close to him made her heart start to race as she was bombarded by his intoxicating scent. Even though she knew that just beneath the surface of his skin ran a key source of food for her, she kept that part of herself under control, for the moment. After all, he was still a man.

An honest vampire. Another rare thing. They usually simply lied to get food, and then ditched whatever they ate. Briana seemed to be quite different. And also seemed to be finally enjoying Philip's little words. "How bold of you. Wishing for me to share my knowledge already my kind lady," he responded with a devilish smirk. As Briana placed her hand on Philip's thigh, Philip set his hand on top of hers. Philip's heart started to beat faster, as he heard the little whisper. Soon, he placed his lips next to Briana's ear, "Right now, I can only think of one way to freshen up my taste." After the whisper, Philip pulled his body back again, so he was looking into Briana's eyes. Such a beautiful undead creature. Philip was ready, and Briana seemed to be too. Why should he wait? He never did. Not with Amelia, not with anyone else. So, since they seemed to be far from others, privacy was a key to many relationships, Philip sneakily glued his lips to Briana's. Using his hand to caress her cheek.

An impish smirk touched Briana's lips as she felt his pulse quicken when he placed his hand on hers. She was priming him for something it seems they were both interested in. His whispered words in her own ear helped to confirm his interest in what she was planning to offer him. Briana's eyes glistened in the low candlelight when he pulled away from her and gazed into them, as she gazed into his. When he kissed her and gently caressed her cheek, a small, soft purr could be heard high in her chest as she returned his kiss, tightening her grip on his thigh slightly. The taste of him was just about as intoxicating as his scent, which was getting stronger and stronger the more he seemed to want her. Tempting her strongly to take more than just a kiss, but she resisted. As she pulled out of the kiss, she ever so gently, pulled on his bottom lip with her front teeth being especially careful to not even touch him with her sharp fangs. Her eyes darkened slightly as she opened them and looked at him. "Ah..... Fresh indeed. Very fresh...." she purred to him as she grinned playfully.

What was this? Why was this happening? Philip and Briana were simply speaking a while ago, and now, they had engaged in a kiss already. But he had to admit she was leaving him crazy. His heart pounded as fast as it possibly could, when Briana brought his bottom lip. He held her hand again, pulling it from his thigh. He held it with all the strength he could, and pulled her arm slightly, placing her hand over his chest. "Hear that Briana? You've left me like this..." He said, sincerely. Was he becoming addicted to finding vampires and somehow seducing them? I must have her, he thought. "Briana, I must say, my first intent this night, was to have you for my own. But now, I don't know. You make my heart beat faster than many other women. What can I do to settle it down?" He asked, with a mischievous grin.

Briana let Tom put her hand to his chest so she could feel his heart pounding, not that he needed to show her. She knew just how fast it was beating just by touching his hand, but she let him show her. She smiled seductively and leaned in close to him. Briana raised her dark blue eyes to him, looking at him through her long lashes, and lightly wet her bottom lip and mused, "I think you know the answer to that question, Tom." She raised her eyebrows, making a face as if to say, 'Am I right?' Briana wanted him and, based on his body's reaction to her, he wanted her just as badly.

Seemed like Briana wasn't in the mood to wait anymore. Good. Philip was glad that was the case. They could advance to much more interesting things. They didn't simply have to continue playing charades, when it was obvious that they both wished to have each other. "I have a room upstairs. It's not very used. It could use a beautiful woman's touch. As could I..." He said, slowly getting up. He let go of Briana's hand, just to offer his own for her to take. "That is, if you wish to spend a fun time with Mister Prince!" He playfully said, bowing afterwards.

"That sounds perfect, Mister Prince. And I would be happy at add that touch to both the room...and you," she said playfully. "That is, if you are alright with spending some....quality time with a creature such as myself," she added slipping her hand into the one he offered to her. She stood, her green tie-dye skirt falling gracefully to just above her ankles. Briana picked up her book and gently blew out the candle before turning to Tom. "Lead the way," she said with a grin.
