The brothers growled but knew Hades was a stuborn fucker. So they quickly whispered to each other and chuckled.

Thane moved the subjects on. "So. What work do you actualy do?" he asked Hades

"Your an idiot if you cant tell" he said rolling his eyes "Kron could tell when he was ten"

Thane chuckled. "shhh merc. Just wondered if you told Jocelyn. She seems scared of you."

Kronos chuckled "Thane. You are an Idiot. Just saying..."

"Princess just doesn't remember me" he said with a sigh "so you work for the minister now, stupid desk job making you a honest man"

Thane burst out laughing. "I am no honest man. Ahahaha. Not in your wildest dreams. Ahaha...I will explain later Hades."

He shook his head then said "I made enough money to get our house back, if you lot are done with the orphanage that is"

The Brothers grinned then spoke in turn. "As much as we live there." "We haven't been in a long time." then in unison. "We got bored of the place."

Thane looks at them "Please stop that. Its annoying."

Hades shot them a dirty look "I thought you were men, stop acting like boys or you wont be wanted by Gaunt"

Jocelyn kept herself quiet the whole time but when Hades started with their house she spoke. "I don't want to live with you, you come out of nowhere and claims that you were there for us. I didn't see at the ward of our brother. I don't want you to take care of me, you scare me!" She didn't like it at all.

Hades frowned and looked at her "Its not my fault you don't remember me.." he said "the clothes on your back you wear because I paid for it, the food you eat the drink in your hand I paid for it I've been working and taking care of you for years"

Jocelyn looked at him but she didn't say anything. She pulled over Cian letting go of Kronos' and Cian's hand and walked away from them. She needed to settle things in her head. Jocelyn sat down at another table by herself. Why was this so confused, he blames her for forgetting him while she was very young and does not remember a lot of their past. Jocelyn sighed and buried her head in her arms.

Hades extinguished his cigar and got up, silently he joined her at the other table he rested his chin in his hand and began to sing softly to her the same song he sang to her when she was a a baby and a child.

Jocelyn looks up while her tears streamed down her cheeks. She recognised the song but she couldn't remember him singing it. She shook her head and looked at him. "You don't know how much pain i have as Reaper, Achilles and Dante got killed. I have seen him burn while i'm scared of the fire and now you come and tell me that you have been taking care of me while i don't remember you and with all your make up you scare me. All i want is a normal life." Jocelyn buries her head in her arms again.

He moved to sit next to her and hugged her showing a rare, softer side of him "I know I frighten you and I miss them too...but I am your older brother..I will protect you..I am able to be here now"

Hades hugged her and she let him. "Every brother says they are going to protect me but they can't protect me if they risk their lives. I will promise you that i try to accept you but it will cost time." She said to him.

Thane came over and split the hug. He hugged Jocelyn and kissed her cheek. He took he hand and brought her back to the group. He sat her between him and Kronos. Then looked at Hades. "Must your really scare her? Its bit harsh. Go scare someone your own age. Or someone who actualy needs scared. Okay? Jesus man." he hugged his youngest cousin and glared at Hades.

Jocelyn stood with Thane and looked at Hades. "I need time." She walked with Thane and sat down. Thoughts were racing through her mind, she leaned her head against Kronos' shoulder and closed her eyes.

-Flashback-

As a little baby Jocelyn was sitting in her little bed in her parents' bedroom crying when Hades came and picked her up holding her close, they went out of their home, their home that had broken windows and a fire going on because there were black smoke coming out of the roof. She saw her brothers following Hades with fear in their eyes. They were in the forest sitting close to each other Hades singing the song to her and her brothers.

-flashback-

Jocelyn woke up and widened her eyes, her heart was beating in her chest. She looked at Hades but then buried her head in her hands. Why is this so messed up? she thought sighing.

Cian listened and watched intently as Hades greeted the others, Thane stepping in, and Jocelyn's reaction to everything. As she was seated between Kronos and Thane, Cian watched her for some kind of reaction, and he saw it. He immediately got up, bringing a chair with him, and sat behind her. From behind, he wrapped his arms tightly around her, resting his chin on she shoulder and whispering in her ear so only she could hear, "I'm here, Sweetness." He lightly kissed her cheek and then turned his eyes back on the man who had upset his girl so badly.

Cian suddenly came and hugged her from behind, she held his hand tightly and nodded when he said he was here for her. "Love you Cian." She said softly to him and smiled.

Cian smiled and nuzzed her cheek. "Love you, too," he said. He could feel her unease as if it was his own, and he didn't want her to feel that way. But, all he could do was simply be there. He gave her hands a gentle squeeze letting her know that.

Jocelyn felt Cian giving her a gentle sueeze and she turned half to him, giving him a uncomfortable smile. "Do you think i'm overreacting about being scared for my older brother, i know Kronos is not the best brother in the world but i feel so uncomfortable to be in Hades present." Jocelyn spoke to Cian loud enough for Cian to hear. Jocelyn looked at Hades and then back at Cian.
