Missing your touch (Emery)

Each of Morderus' kisses brough a fresh wave of tingles to Emery's soft, pale skin. By the time he answered her, she was covered in goose bumps. A bright smile spread across Emery's face at his answer. "I did," she kissed him, "And I do," she kissed him again, "And I will, for always..." She didn't want him to leave, but knew he had to. Emery lay back on the pillow of the make-shift bed they ended up on, her brown eyes bright with love, and asked, "When will you be back, Morderus?"

Morderus wet his lips, sighing, "One ,perhaps three two weeks." He said, as his head nearly fell. Sleep was beginning  to catch up to him after so many sleepless nights. "But I'll try to come back as soon as I can!" He said, with a small smile.

Emery reached up and softly stroked his cheek at his answer. As little as one and as many as three weeks.... She would be strong for him and this little parting they would have. "I will be waiting for you, my love. Watching and waiting for your return," she purred to him. She she watched sleep begin to creep into his eyes, she moved her hand behind his head and gently pulled him down to her. Emery kissed him one last time before resting his head on her chest over her heart. "Rest, Morderus," she whispered with a sigh. She didn't want to sleep. This moment, she wanted it to go on for forever.
