Don't Touch Her (Magnus) (R)

Faye couldn't believe that it was the Holiday already. Christmas was fast approaching and she still needed to get something for her cousin, Darius, that she had gotten so close to. Stopping outside a weaponry shop, she looked over a set of black and green throwing knives. Faye knew that he already had some, but maybe a new set might be nice. "Well, well, well.... If it isn't the oddball Carrow. what you looking at? Something that might make you more worthy of your name so you are less of a disgrace?" a gruff voice said from behind her. Turning, her bright eyes narrowed as she recognized him from her house, an older Slytherin with a rather large chip on his shoulder. "I'm worthy of my namesake. There is nothing wrong with being a little different," she snapped back. "A little? Babe, you are more than a little! A looker like you and you turn down every guy that comes after you! What the fuck? You don't like cock or something?" he said advancing on her. Backing up, her small frame bumped into the side of the building and her heart began to race. "You think you're so smart. You don't know anything about me..." Faye growled darkly. "I know what I see. Why don't you prove me wrong then..." he said, closing the rest of the space between them and pressing her shoulders into the bricks, pressing his strong body against hers. "No! NO!" she yelled, squirming to get free or a hand on her wand. "Now, now... None of that..." he cooed to her, knocking her wand to the ground.

Walking around Diagon Alley, Magnus looked back at those who stared at him with disdain, knowing they looked at him sideways because of both the way he looked and dressed, and because of his name. Slipping his hands inside the pockets of his long red frock overcoat, he turned on the first alley he saw and was met with a disturbing sight: his cousin once removed, Faye being attacked by a Slytherin. Shaking his head, Magnus lifted one of his arms and held throwing knives between each of his fingers, with a total of four knives stacked on his hand. Flicking his wrist, the knives sunk into the flesh of the bastard, two sinking into his shoulder, one into his chest and the other piercing his eye, making his hands fall from Faye. Walking towards him, Magnus set a hand on his shoulder and pushed him away, making the boy hover up until he hit the trashcans close by. Shoving his hand inside his coat once again, his blood red eyes turned to Faye, "You should not let them do what they wish," he said simply.

As soon as it had started, it was all over. The boy's grip was soon off her and the sound of crashing trashcans filled the alley. Looking up, Faye saw her cousin, Magnus, had come to her rescue. "It's not like I did it on purpose..." she snapped, both out of frustration of what had just happened and that she was practically helpless to do anything against someone bigger and stronger than she was. Picking up her wand, she slipped it back into her pocket and straightened her jacket. She had a small dagger sheathed on her hip and one in her boot, but a lot of good they did her when she was pinned under that beast of a boy. "I tried..." Faye said, much calmer now, looking at the ground and kicking a small stone with her toe. She knew her father and Darius wouldn't be pleased, and now it seemed that Magnus was the same...

Looking around, he made sure no one was at the entrance of the alley because seeing any part of that scene would not be too good. Magnus would be in trouble of course, but before he got there, the boy would be in trouble instead. Bad situation, and it wasn't over yet... "You are a Carrow, Carrows are not overwhelmed, we overwhelm those around us... " he answered calmly, and heard the boy stir around throwing the bins from one side to another. Hurling one towards Faye, Magnus pulled her out of the way and unsheathed his wands. The boy tried to approach, blood pouring from him, however, with one wand, Magnus called his blades back, making more blood fall from the boy, and with the other, slit his throat with a diffindo.

"I know... I know..." Faye said, with a sigh. This was something she heard from everyone lately. A Carrow is this way and a Carrow is that why and why can't she be like them... Hearing the trashcans rattle as the boy got to his feet, she stumbled into Magnus as he pulled her out of the way from a flying bin coming towards her. As her cousin drew more blood from the boy, finishing with slitting his throat, Faye drew her wand and cast Flipendo, sending him flying back and landing among the remaining trash bins.

Clapping somewhat sarcastically after his cousin finally acted, he motioned for her to turn around, "Walk with me," he told her and turned his back on the boy and the alley and began walking out, a snarl stamped on his face.

Narrowing her bright eyes slightly at the gesture from her cousin, Faye tucked her wand away and sighed at his request. Doing as he asked, she fell into step alongside him. "Where are we going?" she asked as they exited the alley, leaving the boy and the event leading to his demise behind them.

Magnus looked over his shoulder wondering what his cousin Amycus had done wrong when he raised the child next to him, she was already past the age of growing up... the carrow way. "Firstly, we are getting away from the cadaver," he hoped she would understand that not many understood why Magnus would just kill the boy that was coming onto Faye. Considering murder was 'wrong' in that rotten society, "And then we're going to do whatever you came here to do, cousin," he told her firmly as he continued walking fixing his sunglasses.

Shrugging at his answer, Faye knew that the first part was obvious. They couldn't be hanging around a dead body without having questions come up. Granted, she was pleased that the boy was dead. She knew that her father and Darius both would have ended him gladly, and in the back of her mind, she knew that she would have, too, if he hadn't gotten the upper hand right from the off. "Was only hunting for a gift for Darius. He's all that's left on my list. You know, you're art is different from Dad's..." she said softly, turning the corner that lead to several shops with things that could be added to Darius' collection of weapons.

Knowing his other cousin better than Faye Magnus knew exactly what he'd like, not that he was pretending on getting him a gift, he would only buy three gifts that christmas, one for Mariya, one for Malphas, and one for his parents. "A ceremonial dagger would be good for the boy," Magnus said in a husky tone as his arm suddenly came up and aimed at a store filled with such things... "I shall wait for you here, pick something Carrow-like," he suggested believing firmly she'd know what he meant.

A ceremonial dagger.... She had been on the right track, at least. Looking where he was pointing, Faye sighed slightly and headed into the shop. All around her were different kinds of blades, both long and short, for decoration and practical purposes. Pick something Carrow-like.... As she looked over the different items offered, she tried to think of what would fit the bill there. At first, she wasn't sure that she would find anything that would fit her interpretation of what her cousin was saying, but then she spotted one that did. Picking it up, she took the dagger to the counter and paid for it. The clerk boxed it and handed it over, thanking Faye for coming in and hoping to see her again for any other needs his shop could fill.

Exiting onto the street, Faye made her way back to Magnus. Opening the box, she showed him her selection. "What do you think?" she asked, her bright eyes looking up at him hopefully.

Waiting patiently Magnus drummed his fingers on the ice cold wall of the shop as he waited for his cousin Faye to come out. It was getting annoying, specially since he didn't usually have to wait for girls in any situation, but still this was his cousin so he'd give her another chance, "Looks good actually, Darius may enjoy this," he stroked his chin as he thought.

Faye's twisted, coy smile spread across her face at Magnus' approval of her choise for Darius. Fitting the lid back on the box, she slipped it into her shoulder bag for safe keepnig. "What are you thinking about?" she asked, straight to the point as she noticed him slip into deep thought. Or so it seemed, anyways.

Taking his long hair away from his eyes, he threw it over his shoulders, growling slightly considering he was the male that had the longest hair in the house. Ignoring that fact he trailed his jaw with his finger, "Remind him to use this either as a last resort or only when he's attacking someone behind their back. If he fought someone else with a weapon like this he would surely be defeated," he pointed out but nodded either way.

Tilting her head slightly, Faye smirkeda bit at his comment. "I will, but wouldn't he know that already? Even if it is just a ceremonial blade?" she inquired with a coy grin, slipping her hands into her pockets. Darius seemed to know his stuff about blades, as she was beginning to thanks to him, her uncle, and her father. Every day she was starting to feel like she really belonged to this family. But, the others still had something that she didn't. "How do you do it?" she asked, looking out over the road before them, "You know, have people just know that you are a Carrow?" Bringing her bright eyes back to her cousin, a mysterious darkness danced behind them as she looked at him, as if she could see just what she sought on his face.

Reaching down into the pocket of his overcoat, his fingers latched around his pack of cigarettes. "You didn't know... what makes you think he does?" he answered as he began walking, as usual all the eyes falling on him - and now, Faye as well. Taking out his pack and a zippo lighter, he beat the bottom of the pack with his hand, making a cigarette pop out, and he propped it on his lips. Putting the pack away, he lit the cigarette, and hurled the lighter away towards a trashcan, lightning everything in it. Moving his wand underneath his other pocket, the trashcan seemingly exploded as fireworks flew up to the sky and did their job. "How?" he shook his head and came to a stop, as everyone looked back from him to the fireworks, and then said...
