Once bitten, twice shy (open)

Damion, who had just received his History exam and found that he'd made top marks, was on top of the world. That is, until he spotted something in the clock tower courtyard that made his stomach turn to ice. It was Betta and Dominic Savage, and it looked very much like they were flirting with each other. He dropped his book bag, hardly daring to believe what he was seeing.

Betta...the girl he loved...sitting there with Dominic and kissing him...kissing him the way that she'd once kissed Damion. Shock was quickly replaced by denial, which was then replaced by anger. Damion grabbed his wand and stormed over to the couple.

"What the hell is this?" he shouted, as Betta and Damion jerked away from each other. "Betta! What is this? Why--?"

Azaria was wandering through the halls when she saw three first years fighting. She didn't recognize any of them. She started to turn around, since she didn't like talking to people she didn't know, but she remembered the vow she had made to herself that she wouldn't let her shyness get to her this year. She approached the three of them and said, "Is everything okay here?" She hated conflict, so she thought she might be able to do something.
