It's Happening (Peter, Remus)

James sat on top of the wall, as younger students passed by. He missed Sirius, but he still had Peter and Remus. And Lily of course. At least, he still had three friends he could count on. As Peter passed by, James called for him. "Wormtail. Come here."

Peter shuffled through the crowd, walking up to the teen that had called him. Pushing away some younger students with his flabby arms, Peter stared up at James," Ya Prongs," he asked, stuffing another chocolate frog into his mouth.

James wasn't surprised Peter was eating. He was actually happy at least one of his friends didn't suddenly change habits. "Have you heard? 'Bout Sirius?" James asked, chugging down a butter beer, stuffed in a bottle. He was sure Peter had heard about the fight at the Great Hall, who hadn't? Sirius and James weren't exactly too quiet.

Peter glanced suspiciously at his friend," Sirius?" Peter remembered the fight between James and Sirius, well at least he tried to. But the bacon that day was rather tasty." Um.." Smiling sheepishly, Peter glanced up at the Gryffindor boy, waiting for him to explain.

"He's turning." James said with a depressed tone. "Into one of them...he's dating that Gaunt bitch." He blurted out. "I don't know what to do. I lost the fight. But only because he threw something I'd never expect any of us to throw at each other." James finished the butter beer and threw the bottle against the wall. "He used Crucio on me!" James roared.

Peter flinched as James smashed the bottle.Gaunt bitch? The last time Peter had seen Sirius, he was dating a Ravenclaw. A very pretty Ravenclaw too. Shaking his head, Peter stared up at James." But he's one of us," He blurted out," You didn't do anything to make him use the crucio?" Sirius was always the reckless person in the group, everything and anything would set him off when he was pissed.

James lowered his head, and slowly picked up his glasses. He passed his other hand by his eyes, and rubbed his temple. "I just don't know if he really is one of us," He groaned, "I said what I said to you. Called Marvolo Gaunt a bitch." He said, with a calmer tone. James put his glasses back on and looked at the grass. "He told me to go you know what Lily..." James had already told Peter and Remus about Lily. How they were now dating. "And that didn't make me do it. Plus, it hurt. It means he really wished to hurt me." James sobbed, "I have no idea of what happened. Seems the tournament is getting under his nerves."
