Someone new... (Armen)

Armen chuckled and patted her hand reassuringly "Its not replacing your cat..by giving a new friend a home. Your cat would understand" he said sagely "and your doing fine relax"
"

"It's easy to say," said Sarah and smiled nervously. "But as for the cat, I know she would. It's problem inside me. I would see them as replacement and as long I am not able to accept them as the new friend, not as replacement, I figured out it would be better not to have pet at all, you know?" she explained.

"A pet is a friend, sometimes we need a friend" he said while ordering them some butterbeers with a shot of vodka in each.

"I like to be honest with my friends. Even the pet ones," replied Sarah and watched shots of vodka added into butterbeer. "You know muggle alcohol?" she asked, surprised. As far as she knew, he was pureblood. It was very unusual with purebloods to even care about muggle stuff.

"I've travelled all over the world" he said "and lived with muggles for a time, I am pureblood but I do like the muggle's alchohol"

"It's good, I spent quite enough time with it to know," Sarah laughed weakly. She didn't really want to remember those times, and mostly in fact she didn't because alcohol washed them away. It was the time, when she ran away from wizarding world and tried to find better life in muggle world. She found herself a boyfriend and few friends, but after a while, she found out it's not possible to keep. But she still kept in touch with them. And they were her weakness. She was very aware how small chance they would stand against any angry wizard or witch, so she kept them as one of her many secrets.

He nodded slowly sensing her discomfort "you know my dear, I am not the demon you think I am...I see it in your eyes you think I am devil in the guise of an angel. I am neither I am just a man who has no family and from what I can tell you are just a woman who has no family. We need not fear eahc other."

Slight shock appeared in Sarah's face, as she heard him. So he figured out. Well, not that it was hard. "I am sorry, I just... It's just hard for me to trust someone, you know? I guess I hadn't much luck when it comes to people," she said honestly, sadness in her eyes.

He picked up her hand and squeezed it "Hush now, there was a time when I was just like you...it gets better with time, I just..most people are afraid of me..they see a man who is alone, and has no one and think he is bad..no one ever gets to know me" he smiled weakly as he spoke.

"Do you really think? Because time went by, and I don't really think something changed," Sarah said, deep in her thoughts. "I don't think you are a bad person. Even Dumbledore trusts you. I just tend to keep distance from people, that's all," she explained.

"Well maybe if you let me" he said with a encouraging squeeze of her hand "you will let me show you that you don't need to keep your distance not with everyone"

Sarah couldn't help but smile. "I didn't let anyone close since I was seven years old, to make me change it, that would take more than just one drink, mister Salander," she said afterwards.

"Armen..please call me Armen" he said with a chuckle "I'll take you to dinner sometime, a nice proper dinner and perhaps I'll get my four legged shadow to stay home for once" at this Kurama grumbled as if to say this wasn't happening. "I promise I'll make you laugh and show you that the fact I ran right into you was worth it"

Sarah thought about it for a few seconds, not sure if this is good idea for her. "Okay, you have one dinner to convince me," she said finally after long thinking. This was crazy idea. Specialy for her. She should just run and try to never meet this guy again. But he was nice. And even with that dark aura, Sarah didn't really feel in danger.

His smile broadened and he nodded vigorously "Alright then...i'll meet you back here in two days. You'll have fun I promise." placing some galleons on the table he stood up shaking Kurama from his place. Stretching he dipped and kissed her hand "thank you for joining me Sarah..i'll see you soon." he winked at her then strode from the pub Kurama close at his heels. 

Walking outside he kept the smile plastered to his face until he rounded the corner. The smille slipped off his lips and he shuddered that had been so painful "stupid cunt doesn't know who she just got involved with" he said scratching Kurama's ear. The wolf responded with a nod and he then apparated them back to his home.

Sarah only whispered something like "goodbye" and watched him leave. She herself left just a few seconds after him, but used the other exit, so she ended up right in muggle London. Storm was over anyway. It was time to get home.
