Having a talk

Somehow, the pain from her slap snapped Severus out of his rage and his eyes widened when he realized what he had just said to her. "Lily!" he called after her, but she was already halfway back to the castle. "Damn it!" he thought, now angry at himself for taking his anger out on her.
"Shut up, Potter!" he spat and pointed his wand at his face. "Why don't you run after her, now that she's angry with me and play good guy, huh?"

"She'll forgive you" Marvolo said biting her lip her eyes on james "leave him alone"

"Play good guy? I may curse you from behind, but I'm no phony." Said James. "Expeliarmus. I don't intend on fighting you. But, you are the one that should go talk to her."

Severus sneered at Potter and hissed at him "I don't need your help in how I treat my friends Potter. So keep your nose out of my business!"

"You think I'm helping you Snape? Far from it. I'm helping Lily. NOW GO APOLOGIZE! She deserves it." James's heart was pounding extremely fast and hard. Lily was a matter he could not just ignore. Even though she never payed him much attention, James still felt a big affection for her.

"SHUT UP!" Severus screamed at Potter, he knew that he needed to apologize, but if he would go now it would look as if he was listening to the Gryffindor.
Glaring at him, Severus put his wand in his pocket again and turned to Marvolo. "Let's just go before I lose it completely." he growled.

Sirius arrived next to James. Peter had gone with Remus. "James...we heard what was going on. What in the world is Snivelly thinking?" Sirius was standing by James, and placed his hand on his arm. "Wand down James. I bet Snape's emotional right now."

Marvolo's eyes stayed on Potter as she nodded at Severus "Yeah we don't need to be in the company of him much longer" she said to him as she made to leave not once taking her eyes off them, finally she turned to leave "you were angry lily will have to understand she said as she led the way back to the catle.

James lowered his wand. "Let's just leave Sirius." Said James, turning back to leave.

Sirius turned back to leave as well. Returning to the castle, where a big day would await them all. This conversation was far from over. And James, wouldn't it just let it go.
