The air was cool but not too cold, the little courtyard was almost empty as most students stayed in the warmth behind the thick walls.
A few older slytheriner standing near the door, in the process of talking about the day's hours, check the many times over on a small figure sitting hunched along on one of the worn benches.

Falentin sigh quietly, while he watched the black owl sitting on his knees, the light blue eyes looked owl with sad eyes and a small tear ran down his cheek.
He was wearing Slytherin unifrom it was a bit too big, besides, he was not proud of what he was now.
It was not easy being a half-breed and so to be Slytherin student, the other elf was knonstant after him, calling him nasty things or pushing him as they passed.
Falentin wiped the tear away and then he quietly into the sky "why?" He asked weakly.
Falentin tied careful a piece of parchment stuck to the owl's leg and then he stroked it over the back "flight home my friend" mumledhan easy, then he let the owl fly off into the sky, he looked after until it was only a dot in the sky.

Severus was on his way to the dungeons after completing his classes for the day, his mind already full of ideas. He was working on a new potions project and had been researching ingredients in the library for the past few days. Now he was eager to start the actual brewing process, as he enjoyed the practical part much more than plain research.
Another part of his mind was still thinking over what motive the Gaunt girl had for seating herself next to him during their last Transfiguration lesson, seeing that people like her usually tended to keep to their own kind.

While he was passing by a the main yard, Severus was pulled out of his thoughts when he noticed a young boy sitting all by himself in the cold outside. Slowing his pace, he walked closer to a window to watch the boy who seemed to be a member of his own house. Severus sighed, slightly annoyed when he realized he that the younger student was crying and looking quite miserable. Severus really had no time to spare, but as prefect, he had to make sure the boy was alright.

Pulling his cloak titer around himself, Severus walked outside, sneering at a few of his house mates that were just standing by and made his way towards the student. "Hey, what are you doing out here all by yourself, boy?" he asked silkily.

Falentin sighed slightly, it was not easy here at the moment, he had most of all just want to sit all by himself and write his poems or just do his homework.
But he was, however siddene here, he looked up at the sky and wondering when his letter mon would reach his mother the only magician in the family.

He looked a little overasket against the older student who stop and right actually talked to him even though he was Slytherin, most others did not talk to him because he did not have the right genes. Falentin looked a bit gently at him with hovdet slightly tilted "is back there gidder be with me," he said gently.

Falentin considered him a little, he could not quite remember what the guy was called, but he was shown enough one of the quiet types like himself.

Frowning slightly, Severus watched the boy in front of him. He seemed to be quite lonely and miserable, but that was nothing new to Severus who was quite the outcast himself. Gazing back to the group of Slytherin that were throwing arrogant glances at the two of them, Severus sneered back, muttering "Idiots!" under his breath.
He turned his eyes back to the younger boy and said coldly "You shouldn't let those people bother you, you know? They think blood purity and money is the most important thing in the world, but once you get to know them a bit better you realize quickly, how shallow and stupid they actually are."
His dark black eyes bored into the young boy's eyes emotionlessly. "I'm Severus by the way, you're prefect." he scoffed. Severus really had no idea how he got that position, he was neither friendly nor did he like to help pther people,but it hadn't been his decision.
