Ain't this strange? (open) (PG)

Ember wrapped her robes tight around her body, feeling the cold air attack her the moment she enters the Viaduct courtyard. It was early morning and she couldn't seem to get back to sleep so she decided to go to the place her parents met. Climbing up one of the pillars, she sat herself on top of the roof to gaze at the beautiful school she was glad to call home for next 7 years. Her mind wandered, beginning to think about her family.

Artemis barely slept so her 'adventures' early in the morning was nothing new. With the same mind set as her sister, she wanted to go visit the place her parents met and off she went. Seeing a familiar figure on the roof, she laughed lightly knowing Ember enjoyed being higher up than everyone else. Joining Ember on top of the roof, Artemis chewed on her lip. ''Hello Emmy..'' She muttered, calling Ember by her nickname as she was the only person allowed to call her that. ''Arty!'' Ember's arms wrapped around Artemis and they both laughed before staring off into the distance. ''I got some chocolate, Emmy.'' Artemis exclaimed and handed Ember a chocolate frog. ''Thanks sis...''

Decibel looked one of the pillars, two sets of legs hanging out from a pillar. Climbing best he could he heaved himself onto the roof "Mind if i join you?" he said with a smirk.

Artemis watched as someone pulled themselves up and she chuckled lightly. ''Of course, raven.'' She said whilst Ember's smile brightened. ''Hello! Of course you can join!'' Her attitude was bubbly whilst Artemis simply smirked.

Misha was in a hurry. She needed to stop by at home to pick up her History of magic book when she saw three people sitting on the roof. "Are you having some sort of suicidal therapy session up there?" she asked with clear sarcasm in her voice. Climbing rooftops was never exactly her thing. She found it generaly strange for people to do that. Why roof, when there are so many trees around?

Ian was on his way to the great hall to grab some breakfast. He liked to be up early and pick the nicest treats from the plate, so he could often be found up earlier than his fellow students.
As he was passing the courtyard, he suddenly heard voices and made his way outside.
He raised his eyebrow as he saw a Ravenclaw talk to three students sitting on the roof and he couldn't help but chuckle. "Is it nice up there?" Ian called up to them, as he stood next to the Ravenclaw girl.

"Thank you ladies" he smiled as he sat down near them, his long legs hanging off the roof. Looking over the edge he chuckled at his house mate's comment. "What are two beautiful women like yourselves doing in a place like this"

Artemis tilted her head as she glanced down at Misha. ''Therapy sounds good...But not suicidal. More like Chocolate therapy.'' She winked, smiling before turning her attention to a hufflepuff. ''Oh it's wonderful...simply wonderful.'' A smirk tugged at her lips whilst Ember simply pressed herself into Artemis' side. Staring at the other Ravenclaw, her smirk grew. ''Simply eating chocolate. What are you doing in a place like this?'' She said, smirking before grabbing another chocolate frog and eating it.

"I always come to the roof tops" he explained "its where i truly feel free" reaching into his bag he pulled out a bottle of fire whiskey "would you care for some?"

Artemis smiled lightly. ''Yeah so do i. Our parents met here.'' She admitted, taking Ember's hand. Her eyes lit up the drink and bit her lip before smirking. ''That would be wonderful...'' She said, grinning wildly.

Sliding over so he sat cross legged by the two girls "Are you not sisters?" he said opening the bottle, taking a sip he offered it to them both.

Ember giggled. ''That's what Artemis meant. Yeah We're sisters.'' She said, laughing lightly whilst watching Artemis sip from the bottle. Artemis felt the fire whiskey burn its way down her throat and it made her feel...alive and wonderful. Handing it back to Decibel, knowing Ember wouldn't drink it, she smiled. ''Thanks Raven.'' She teased, smirking.

"My pleasure" he said taking another sip he looked to ember "none for you pretty lion?"

Ember blushed a dark red, almost matching her house colour whilst her eyes, in the sun, shone almost a gold colour. ''None for me, Raven...Can't handle such strong stuff. It's just butterbeer for me.'' She said, tone filled with laughter.

Reaching a bold hand he touched her crimson cheeks "honest and beautiful, a blush becomes you" he commented.

Ember freezes for a moment, feeling his hand touch her cheeks. Artemis raised her eyebrow, knowing her sister was the beautiful one between the two of them and she continues eating the chocolate. ''Why thank you...'' Ember said softly.

Letting his hand fall he smirked slightly "I am most honored to be in the presence of two beautiful women this eve."

Artemis laughed and rolled her eyes. ''A Ravenclaw flirt? Has Hell frozen over?'' She teased with a playful smirk whilst Ember simply blushed at the compliment. ''That's very sweet of you. I'm sure Artemis is just saying thank you in her own, rare way.'' Ember explained.

"A flirt? yes but i merely speak the truth" he said "I do not compliment when it is not bidden. i am not one to flatter"

Artemis smirked whilst Ember grinned brightly at the Ravenclaw. ''Well thank you then. It's nice to know someone appreciates beauty.'' She teased, flipping her hair dramatically over her shoulder before laughing.

He grinned at them both "First years yeah? liking it here?"

Artemis nodded. ''Yeah..It's alright. Mum said it's the most wonderful place in the world but i suppose a little bit more time will make me think the same.'' She shrugged, smiling. Ember seemed to just glow with happiness. ''Oh it's amazing! Made so many friends!'' She said, grinning.

"Give it time, you will see the magic that is Hogwarts. I've been here three years and though it has its ups and downs i wouldnt trade it for the world." he said

Artemis sighed, nodding. ''Yeah..not even been here long so maybe i'll find something that strikes my interest.'' She said, staring at the sky. Ember was just beaming with happiness at the fact they were finally here. ''Ember and I have dreamed about this place for years and to finally be here is causing Em here to burst out of her seams.'' Shaking her head, she smirked.
