Oh it's you..(Atticus) PG

Atticus furrowed a brow, and had a quizzical expression, ''She protected my family?'' he asked. ''Why not protect your father's family?'' he then said, throwing in his own question.

Artemis nodded. ''She is your aunt...and she was friends with Sirius. Besides...The Valkyrie Family are sworn to protect the Blacks since the Order began...'' She told him, slightly surprised he didn't know. Hearing his question, she stared at the floor before them. ''Because i don't feel connected to the Shadows..like at all. He may be my father but i'm a Calor, always will be.'' She admitted. ''There are no Calors left but I so...I protect myself. I'm not the greatest person with trust and leaving my life in other people's hands. It's rare for me to do so.'' She told Atticus and then realized due to the pair's closeness, she trusted him and would put her life in his hands.

Atticus nodded as she spoke of her family, and caressed her face, "You're close to your sister though, aren't you?" he asked trying to show how much he was starting to care.

Artemis was slightly shocked when he touched her face but she brushed it aside when she felt comfortable by it. Nodding at his question, she smiled. ''Yeah..of course i am. She means the world to me despite our differences.'' She said and smiled at how much Atticus seemed to care. ''I'm sorry for not knowing but Luna doesn't really talk much about..your mother but do you have siblings?'' She asked, leaning into his hand.

"Then protect her," he said and chuckled brightly. "Siblings? Well...I have a bas-...brother. Never met him. All I know is that he's younger than me, is named William and is the son of a Lestrange..." he said as he shook his head. His father was quite the ladies man and he had to get involved with another woman.

Artemis smiled, realizing Atticus was right. ''I already do.'' She said, grinning and raised her eyebrow at his words. ''Jeez..I wonder how many other siblings you have. There could be people you don't know about.'' She said, wondering. ''Well i suppose you'll meet him next year right?''

"I guess...I'm not sure I want to...but alas, I'll give him a chance. He is my brother after all..." Atticus said and then let a sigh of tiredness out.

Artemis sighed. ''I supposed i'd feel the same if i was in your position but i'm pretty sure everything will feel alright.'' She said and then looked up at him. ''Are you tired? It is pretty late. I mean if you want to go to sleep, it's all cool.'' She said with a smile.

"Ain't gonna leave you alone," Atticus said. He was a boy, so he had a sense of pride. He wasn't gonna let a girl all alone, while he went to sleep.

Artemis rolled her eyes. ''Atticus...you've seen me kill two people. I'm pretty sure i can protect myself if someone tries to hurt me...inside our common room.'' She laughed lightly and shoved him gently.

"Don't care," He grumbled as he smiled warmly.

Artemis rolled her eyes again and laughed lightly at his grumble. Moving, she put a hand on his cheek. ''Atticus Black. I'll be fine, you are tired.'' Leaning up, she kissed his cheek. ''Go to sleep, you prideful idiot.'' She said, firmly.

"Come with me," Atticus joked and then burst out laughing, "Seriously though, I can't leave you alone...boys will be boys I guess, so if you want me to go to bed, you best god damn go as well," Atticus said as he grinned.

Artemis laughed and had to cover her mouth to stifle it. ''Yes you can. Besides, i don't sleep.'' She told him, shaking her head. ''Boys may be boys but im pretty sure i have bigger balls than most of them.'' She smirked, still trying to stop her laughter.

Atticus grinned and then swiftly picked Artemis up princess style, "Sleep today then, just today, or I won't let you down," he pleaded with a wolfish grin on his face.

Artemis gasped and held onto him. ''Are you out of your mind?!'' She said and then smirked. ''Nah.'' She laughed lightly and wrapped her arms around his neck, getting comfortable.

Atticus crushed Artemis against him as he walked to the small set of stairs that led to the dorms, "C'mon, please," he asked with a smirk.

Artemis hissed as he crushed her and let him carry her. ''But i'm not tireddddd'' She whined with a childish pout.

"What if I cuddle you? Will you go to sleep then?" Atticus asked as he grinned and shook his head.

Artemis froze and looked up at him with narrowed eyes before chewing on her lip. ''That's how Ember helps me sleep...so yeah i would. But...you probably would feel awkward doing that.'' She said nervously, stifling a yawn.

"Nah, I've done it with Cel....-Celeste. Wasn't awkward, just different," Atticus admitted.

Artemis raised her eyebrow before smiling. ''Celeste does like her cuddles.'' She then paused and began to feel like a little girl. ''C-Can we go to sleep now?'' She asked, resting her head on Atticus' shoulder.

Atticus kissed Artemis' forehead, and he walked down the stairs slowly. He pushed the door of her dorm open, and then closed it softly, not one noise being heard as he did.
