Big Not So Happy Reunion ((Adrian, Sirius, Morgan, James, Peter, Arthur and Molly))

Sirius apparated at the Hog's Head Inn's door, bringing Morgan along. His arms were still wrapped around her, as he still held her close. He let her go, as soon as they arrived, and looked at her kindly. "C'mon..." he said softly, pushing the door open so Morgan could enter. As he stepped in, he turned his gaze to a table, as James and Peter sat in it, with Arthur and Molly. Sirius walked to them, dragging two benches to the end of the table, as James looked on. "Sup gang..." he asked, glancing at Molly's belly. "Getting bigger everyday aren't we?"

Morgan let go of Sirius as soon as her feet were firmly on the ground. Looking up, she saw they were now at The Hog's Head Inn. Morgan took a deep breath and entered as he held the door for her. Looking about, she spotted James and Peter and then her heart sank. Molly and Arthur were sitting with them. As if this wasn't going to be hard enough to just talk to the boys.... She followed Sirius and smiled at the crew of Gryffindors. "Hi, everyone," she said quietly.

Molly looked up as a familiar voice greeted them. "Sirius! Morgan! What brings you two here?" she asked, and then smirked at his comment. Rubbing her swollen belly she said, "8 months... Feel as big a Nightbus!"

Sirius looked up at Morgan, tapping the bench next to him. "Sit..." he said, before tilting his head to Molly. "Can't imagine when Mira gets like that..." he said, finally budging a smirk.

Arthur smirked upon seeing Sirius and Morgan come to the crew, "How's the happy couple?" he asked with a smirk, before kissing Molly's cheek. "You look perfect!" he praised his woman, before leaning back in his chair.

James shook his head at Arthur with a glare. "Couple of friends. Happy couple of friends..." James stated, before chuckling. Arthur still thought Morgan and Sirius were together, and James could really imagine why. Molly's second pregnancy probably got his attention and he completely forgot everything else. "Anyway, what brought you two here?" he asked brightly.

Peter smirked as he saw Sirius sit down, and looked up at Morgan. "Hey guys." he said only, staying somewhat quiet as usual.

Sirius gulped at James's question, breathing deeply. He glanced back at Morgan, biting his lip. I think you should ask him... he thought, somehow hoping she heard.

Morgan sat next to Sirius nodding a greeting to everyone and smiled gently at Arthur's mistake. The boys had mentioned that he had been overly occupied with Molly and the new baby coming. So that combined with them coming in together likely didn't help his assumption that they were still a couple. Morgan nervously looked at Sirius and then back at James.... Well, it's now or never....

"I...ummmm.... I wanted to talk with you about.....the vow you made..... The vow about Remus....." Morgan said slowly, her eyes going from James to Peter and back.

"You're just saying that, dear," Molly said as she leaned into his kiss. At hearing Morgan mention something about a vow dealing with Remus. She looked at the boys sitting with them, confusion on her face. Morgan couldn't mean an unbreakable vow. As she waited to hear James' answer, she slipped a hand into Arthur's and gave is a squeeze.

Arthur was just as confused as Molly, and eyed his friends carefully. He held his love's hand tightly, lifting an eyebrow at James specially. "Vow?" he inquired with a quizzical look on his face. He couldn't help but speculate about what Morgan meant. What does she mean by vow...

Peter only gulped, shutting his eyes, and holding his face with his hands. The vow was coming back to haunt them again. What had they done...Sirius only sighed, waiting for James to talk. "What about it?" James asked, the words seemed casual, but his tone showed his seriousness. Sirius looked at Arthur and held up his palm. All would be explained soon.

Morgan took a deep breath, linking her fingers tightly in her lap. "Why? Why make that?" she asked simply. Morgan's bright eyes demanded an answer. Even if she had only asked a simple question, her eyes spoke what her voice did not.

James sighed slightly, before lifting his chin and glancing at Morgan. "Insurance. To make sure we wouldn't let him be controlled by the likes of Lord Voldemort..." James said loudly, as many people in the Inn started to talk amonst themselves. "James, the name..." Sirius whispered, nudging him, and narrowing his eyes. James, even though he used his name, was still right...

Arthur gasped as he started to figure out pieces of what they were talking about. Remus. Vow. Not let him be controlled by the dark lord. It definitely have to do with Remus's jumping between sides...

"Insurance? So why make me a variable? Why make it depend on my living or dying?" Morgan asked quickly, not even flinching at the name James used. "Am I really the only thing you think that is holding him to you?" she asked, a touch of sorrow laced in the words. Morgan's eyes softened slightly as she asked the last question. Surely there had to be more than just her keeping him with them, there just had to be.

At the mention of the Dark Lord's name, Molly winced and leaned into Arthur. The baby within her stirred for a moment, as well, as if he, too, sensed the darkness that name possessed. Hearing about this vow, Molly sighed and shook her head slightly. Such a weight for someone such as Morgan to have to bare. She was familiar with Remus' going from side to side, but to take measure like this...

"Yes...you're the only thing that binds him to us still. Morgan, if you weren't with him, tell me...would his supposed love for us be enough? That's why we vowed to do it if only you left us. Because he'll be taken by your death, and the Gaunt bitch will easily manipulate him..." James asked with a sigh, still believing Remus deep down loved them more than the Gaunt bitch.

Arthur sighed as he heard James talk about Remus. From what Sirius had told him, Remus had changed. He seemed to have become more prune to manipulation, and much less clear headed. It seemed Remus was no longer Remus. "Remus..." Arthur sighed.

Morgan sighed, glancing at Sirius. How could James have so little faith in the bond that Remus feels with them. "I like to think it would be enough, but I guess, you all think differently...." she said looking away. Raising her grey-blue eyes to him, she dared to asked, "So, you wouldn't even give him the benefit of the doubt to see what would happen should my life be taken? You would just take his life and never give him a chance to prove that he would stay?"

James rolled his eyes slightly, and glared at Peter. Why did he have to tell Remus... "Thinking something obvious isn't gonna happen isn't enough Morgan..." he stated, glancing back at her with a frown, before sighing deeply. "He wouldn't stay. He told us you're everything to him. What would he do without his everything? Fall prey to the darkness...can't take that risk..."

Morgan sighed and looked away. She didn't like thinking about her own demise and what might happen after that. Even if she had just tried to take it herself shortly before coming here..... Morgan began to see what they were seeing. Sirius and the boys were right. She could no more guarantee that Remus would stay than they could if she were to perish. Sure, she could hope that he would since he cared so much for them and the others, but nothing was certain. "What if he leaves with me still alive?" she asked quietly, not raising her eyes to any of them.

"We couldn't kill him then..." Peter said out of the blue, and it made Arthur suddenly snap from his thoughts. "That'd hurt someone we have to protect..." James stated after Peter went back to his usual silence, "You..." Sirius finished, glancing at Morgan, as the other two boys did the same...

Morgan snapped her bright eyes up when Sirius finished their thought. "Me?" she asked in a whisper. "You have to protect me? Why?" Morgan asked looking each boy in the eye.

Peter's voice made Molly jump as she hadn't been listening for him to speak. They had to protect her. A gentle smile touched Molly's face at hearing that Morgan had someone, well, several people, looking out for her. If she could, she would do whatever it took to help keep her safe as well, and felt sure that Arthur, if asked, would do the same.

"You're not strong enough to withstand losing Remus. If we killed him, you could just go to Morana. And why would we let that happen...if we're not letting it happen to Remus?" James said. He wouldn't allow any of his friends to be broken. He'd protect them all. Until the last moment of his life...

Sirius sighed as James once more, seemed to be right. Morgan could be getting stronger, but nothing would get her through the blow of losing Remus. And the same would happen to him. It seemed they were too close. So close, it made Padfoot a bit jealous. Sirius understood they loved each other, but...Remus was his first...

As Morgan listened to James' explain her needing to be protected, she smiled. "So, by protecting one, you protect both. By saving one, you save both," she said, looking at James. "But, should he still choose to go.... What then?" Morgan asked, looking at Sirius. Dropping her eyes to her clenched hands, she sighed softly. "He would want me to go with him......" she said quietly.

James shook his head slightly, before grinning brightly. "You and him take us by devils...yet you don't understand we're always thinking of you," he answered, with a smirk spread across his face. "Morgan, we wouldn't let you go." he said, his tone a bit more serious. Sirius then sighed, before narrowing his eyes, and looking directly at Morgan. "I know where you belong. With us...you wouldn't truly want to go. Like me, you've tasted their side. And found it wrong...you wouldn't want to go, and we're here to help you stay..." he finished, as James nodded. Peter still reserved himself to his quietness as usual, but did a silent and slow nod as well.

Arthur nodded as the boys did, looking at both Morgan and Sirius. "You both belong with us. If Remus wants to go, he can go. But I know for a fact you both belong with us...ain't that right James?" Arthur asked his friend, budging a smirk.

"Indeed it is..." James answered finally, as Peter looked up at the others smirking. He was truly happy things seemed to be settling down. But of course, nothing would be settling down any time soon.

Molly nodded. "Arthur and the boys are right, Morgan. You belong with us, on this side. Remus does, too, and if chooses to go, then he chooses to go," she said with a gentle smile.

Morgan was touched by the words for all those around her. She managed a small smile and nodded. "I do belong on this side. Sirius is right. I have been on their side, and I don't belong there..." Morgan said, putting a friendly hand on Sirius' hand. "I belong with you all. All I can do is hope that he won't leave. I know you wouldn't let me go, and I don't want to go...... I'll need your help.... Will you all be there should it come to that?" Morgan asked. She knew it was going to take everything inside her to go against the man she loves. Sure she was strong, but she knew she would need their strength, too, to be as strong as she needs to be.

"In a heart beat, Morgan. We will be there in a heartbeat. Right, dear?" Molly said looking at Arthur for confirmation that he and she will be there should Morgan need them.

"A person who deserves my loyalty and love receives it. By staying with us, you prove you deserve both Morgan. Me and Molly will be there...always..." Arthur said, before casting his glance towards Molly "...In a heartbeat." he said impishly.

James then, looked around. He smirked, before going to talk. "We're all together. We all belong to the same side. I think it's time I reveal something to you..." he said, as Peter looked over at him, with furrowed brows. Sirius smirked, knowing what was about to come. "My father, before he went ill, talked to Alastor Moody..." He kept talking, lowering his tone. "Moody and Dumbledore are preparing. And they're the people we need to side with...they're about to form a group...an organization. And they need us. Me and Sirius have both given confirmation that we're joining them. What about you?" James asked, his smirk vanishing.

Peter quickly nodded with excitement, but yet had no words. He wasn't too sure if he truly wanted to fight for them. Wouldn't he just be hurt in the process? No, he couldn't think like that. "Yes!" he was only able to say, before going back to his silence.

Arthur looked at his side, down at Molly's stomach. This organization. It'd help their side, the right side, win. But, what if it was too dangerous? He had three kids to worry about now. And Molly. Joining would take him away from her and the little ones. But, what if he didn't join? What would others think of him? A Weasley, a protector of muggles and muggle borns, simply dismissing the organization? Arthur couldn't refuse, and only wished Molly understood why he took the decision to enter... "I'm with you..." he said only, before nodding towards his friends, casting a worried glance towards Molly...

Morgan had no words for how she felt at that moment. But, her smile and her eyes spoke for her. She was in the right place...

At James' talk about Moody, the Head Auror, and Dumbledore preparing an organization to combat this war, it took her only a moment to figure out her answer. "Just as you are all with me, so I am with you," she said giving a small nod to James.

I'm with you... Molly heard Arthur say. Looking up at him she saw his nervous look. He was such a good man, and she understood his worries. While she shared many of them, the idea of not standing with her friends and her love only to watch and hope for the best... No... She glanced down at her belly as Percy stirred slightly. Smiling and rubbing it gently with her hand, she looked back up at Arthur. If she could make a difference in the world for her boys, then she was going to help. "I'm with you all, too. Always...." she said smiling.

James slowly got up from the table, winking at Morgan. "I gotta run. I'm going to meet up with your brothers Molly. Peter's coming with me," he smirked, as Peter suddenly shook his head, but got up as well. They walked out, as Sirius simply watched. "Morgs, I'm gonna go talk with Emmeline. Emmeline Vance. Wanna tag along and let the little pair here have their fun?" he asked with a grin.

Morgan smiled, glancing at Molly and Arthur and then back at Sirius. "Sure," she said with a wink.

Sirius swiftly made his way out of the table, winking at the young couple, before dragging Morgan with him. War was here, but why couldn't people like Molly and Arthur still have time for each other.
