Woman in Black (Marvolo)

Caleb was sitting in a dark corner of the Leaky Cauldron nursing a drink. He had no idea how many he had already but he didn't care. He had a lot on his mind. He had met Hades Grimm the other day and after they had finished he was thinking a lot now. He needed to figure what he was going to do now. He was lost in thought taking a drink every so often and then sitting it back down.

Marvolo walked into the pub her heavy boots announcing her presence "Vodka straight up" she said to the bare tender. She looked around and spotted a familar presence "Bryson?"

*bump*

Caleb as just stood up to leave when he heard a voice. He turned around and saw a ghost. The glass he was holding dropped and shattered on the ground. He was speechless for a moment. He had just attended this girls funeral and stuff about a month ago so what the hell was she doing here. "Marvolo?" he asked quietly. He had no idea what to say. She was dead and now she was here. This shouldn't have happened. He had a crush on her when he had been in school. He still loved her in a small way and had been extremely upset when she had died. He had even cried which was something he didn't do often. Not even when he killed his parents did he cry. He had enjoyed that. Marvolo was just an amazing person. She was smart and cunning. Sweet and sexy...to the right people anyways. She was the epitome of everything that should be Slytherin. The same house he had been in before he had graduated. Her here was just not what he was expecting.

She smirked at the boy and sighed, drinking some of her vodka she said "Yes Caleb its me" she sighed and walked over to him and hugged him.

She came up to him and hugged him. His arms hadn't yet grasped her and his mind hadn't grasped the thought that she was really here. Then it sunk in and he was lost. He hugged her back and started to cry. Sure he was older then her but he had this special connection with her. There was something that when she died felt like it was gone forever. They had many fun times at school and he hated that he had graduated so far ahead of her. "You were dead Marvolo. I saw your casket. I went to your funeral. I got your letter!" he sad calming himself enough. He did not want to let go for fear that it was just a dream.

"I came back Caleb" she said soothing him gently...she was being so kind to him when most of the people she returned to she tried to kill "I came back from hell" she said and smirked at him as she dried his tears.

Hell. How did she get back from hell and what did she mean in the first place. There was no afterlife so how did she go to hell? He moved back with his hands on her shoulders. She had dried his tears and that was it. He had never been an emotional man but this woman did things to him that made him wonder. She had a strange hold on him. "What do you mean hell? What the hell happened to you? Did you die or what? I am so confused right now. I think I need another drink of two." he said and yelled at the bartender to get him another scotch. He sat down and stared at the floor. He dared not look back up. He was scared he might lose her again.

She took a seat in the booth with him and sipped her drink slowly as she prepared to speak "there is a afterlife mate" she said "i died, i killed myself by the lake i was tossed into hell for the wrongs I've done and I was tortured every second of every day" she spun the engagement ring on her finger "the warlock Seraph of the wizengamot raised me from perdition, but he did not think it worked hours later i climbed from the grave"

Hell. She had come back from hell and he had no idea what to say on that. He had no idea on his beliefs either. He thought it didn't exist but if Marvolo was any example then it did exist. He was shocked but decided that now wasn't the time to talk about this. "Well I am pleased to see you back among the living. What do you plan on doing now?" he asked interested.

She smirked the scars on her face pulling at her lips she knew she looked alarming at best but he was doing a good job at accepting it "its good to be back caleb" she said squeezing his hand "and its really good to see you"

Caleb cared not that she had scars on her. It only made her more mysterious and desirable to him. He put his hand against her face and stared into her eyes that seemed to stare directly into his soul. She squeezed his hand and he smiled. "I am so glad you are back love. I am just as pleased to see you. It's like a part of me is back again. What Do you plan on doing now though? There is much that needs done" he said quietly.

His touch comforted her, it made her calm and made her feel like she belonged. "I should go back to school but I don't know, i'm a fourth year I need to study more. War is on the horizon even in hell I could see the storms brewing" she spoke in hushed tones for him to hear. "I need to remind everyone who is in charge and my sister and I need to be preparing to lead this army" she had always confided in him and she recalled he was aware of the fact that Morana and Marvolo ran the show in the end. "I missed you.." she added as an after thought.

He could tell something about her had changed but he wasn't sure. He was glad she was taking things in stride. He wasn't too sure how he would feel if he had just come back from hell. "Well you have my undying loyalty Marvolo. Whatever you need I will help with. I got rid of my parents so there will be no opposition from them." he said and then smiled. "I missed you too but you are back so be happy that you get another chance."

"thank you caleb" she said with a smile "knowing I have you behind us gives me confidence, you've been a amazing friend" she rubbed her eyes with her hand as she picked up her drink that sat forgotten and sipped at it "Are you alright? since you got rid of your parents, i know you are strong but the first time is always a bit jarring"

Caleb stared at the table then looked back up at her. "No it wasn't hard at all. I mean I had my doubt if I could do it before I started but once I did I actually began to enjoy it. I didn't know I had that in me but it is scary yet amazing. I feel like getting rid of them freed me. I sat there after he fact covered in blood and laughing. It was odd. But yeah I am over it now. I am ready for anything you give me Marvolo.

He was so loyal, so ready to serve "Caleb..." she said softly he always struck her with his demeanor "You know other then my sister you've been the single constant, like I know should the world die tomorrow you'll be with us into the apocalypse and I value that so much, I value you."

"I value you as well and always have. Knowing you were gone was like a knife in my heart. So what do you say to us getting out of here?" he asked.

She stood up and shot back the rest of the alcohol "Where we bound" she smirked at him

"Well we can go to my place if you want. Or we can go visit some friends. The choice is yours M'Lady and I will follow you wherever you go. Just say the words and magic." he said smiling at her. It was funny because the crush he had on the girl way back when was coming to the surface but he saw the engagement ring on her finger and it hurt a bit inside. He wondered if the other man knew she was alive yet.

"Lets walk a bit" she said as they stepped out of the pub "enjoy the night while we are still children because tomorrow..we are soilders"

Soldiers... That conversation was easily understood by those who knew what was coming. But alas, it was Marvolo who was talking. Sirius understood that perfectly. How could he not. And then, his gaze switched to Bryson. Another idiotic Slytherin. Former Slytherin that is. Sirius remembered that time he and James made Professor Allen believe Caleb had actually stolen something from his office. Sirius still thought Allen was gonna kill Caleb. But it didn't go as far. Though it did provide the Marauders with a lot of laughs. Being at the door did have its privileges, as when Marvolo stepped out of the Leaky Cauldron, Sirius pulled her to him. School was mostly boring anyway. He crushed her lips with his, to make her know who she still belonged with. Sirius didn't care about her being friends with that other guy. He cared she was his.

Marvolo pulled her leather jacket tight against her as she stepped into the night air, before another thought crossed her mind she was pulled flush up against someone's body and kissed with a possessiveness that only one man in her life could portray. In the moment before she relaxed and shut her eyes she saw her lover Sirius and felt his hands on her as he subtly..asserted his dominance.

Returning his kiss her arms weaved themselves around his neck and she smiled at him as they slowly broke apart. She kissed once more chastly before saying "Caleb, you remember Sirius Black? Allow me to introduce you to my fiance"

Caleb couldn't believe it when the boy and yes he was a boy came out of nowhere and kissed Marvolo like it was nothing. The words that came out of her mouth next cut him to the bone. Fiancée. This shit was her fiancée? Caleb had known Sirius and had hated him. He got him in trouble at school on numerous occasions and wanted to always kill the bastard. "Yes I know who this shit is and I can't believe you like him. He is an ass who gets people in trouble for no reason. You want to stay here with him and fuckin have fun be my guest but I will not have part in this. I love you Marvolo and I would hate to see an asshole hurt you okay?" he said before turning away.
