Pair of Black Roses...

Morana silently approached the place. She was barefoot again, her dress on, a pair of black roses in her hands and tears in her eyes. It's been over a month, some time after midnight just like now, when she felt connection to her sister for the last time. She was sure she will never forget her last look at her, because even for someone like Morana Gaunt, that was a nightmare. She gently put the roses on the surface of the lake and watched them with her empty look.

Marvolo stood behind her sister, this was it..she was standing between the worlds..between hell heaven and earth. The warlock who pulled her from the depths had told her she had only one chance to go to heaven, she could go now and finally rest...or return to the world of the living.

She watched as her sister laid the roses on the lake and that was enough, covered in tattoos that told the stories of her pain, scars and injuries, she stepped through the veil.

"Morana"

Morana froze on the spot. This wasn't her voice and still it felt so familiar it hurt. But that was impossible, wasn't it? Morana froze in complete shock, incapable of turning around or speak. Maybe she just didn't want this dream to end. It was dream after all, what else could it be?

She watched her stiffen and took a few steps towards her. Grabbing her by her shoulders she said "Don't scream.." she spun her around to face her, her once bright eyes were black her body was marred and her beauty yet was still there was foreign under the injuries she suffered at her own hand and in damnation.

Morana looked at her sister. She looked different, but Morana knew it's her. More damaged than ever, but still her. "How?" she whispered one question that was enough for all of them. How was she alive? How did she change so much?

"Amelia and Dellen are old friends with a warlock..Seraph....he arose me from perdition... he gave me a choice...come back and live, or I can leave hell and go to heaven. I came back for you" she smirked then hugged her "Morana...forgive me...I didn't mean to..."

Morana let her hug her, still not sure how to react. "That means after we die, you go back to hell with me?" was her another question. Mainly because she was out of words. She had no idea what to do, so she only hugged her sister back and asked an akward question, while tears were streaming down her face.

"I'll never leave you ever again...if you go to hell I will follow if you go to heaven I'll fight ever goddamned angel to be there with you" she swore holding her tightly

Morana chuckled. "Like if I could ever go to heaven," she smirked as she held her as tight as she could. "Please don't be just a dream," she whispered, crying.

"I'm not I swear" she said cupping her face in her hands looking at her sister whom in this moment was so sweet...so innocent she kissed her gently on the lips then on the forehead. "I'm so sorry sister..i'm so sorry..."

"Why did you leave me?" Morana asked, her voice broken. She didn't want to ask this question. She didn't want to sound pathetic, but she did anyway.

"Its hard to explain" she began "I feel like i was born broken hearted, i couldn't settle down i couldn't figure out how to be happy I was upset all the time..I hated myself I lived in constant pain" she said in a rush before looking down.

"All the time voices in my head contradicted what anyone said..you told me you wouldn't leave me...and immediately in my mind I believed down to my heart you would marry Barty and forget me..."

She sighed squeezing her sister tight "I was tortured in my mind and in my life...more so then you..I protected you alot more then I ever told you..but then....I betrayed you by killing myself I just wanted..peace"

"When will you learn, that you can come to me with all your fears and troubles?" she whispered as she gently touched her sister's face. She could see Marvolo was a different person now. Very different. But she was back and Morana couldn't ask for more than that.

She shook her head the tears spilling out now "no i couldn't" she said "I was alone no one could have saved me.."

Morana shaked her head. "Is it so hard for you to actually understand there is someone who cares for you the most of all people?" she sighed and than pulled out her wand. She made a move like she always did to cast her patronus but nothing came out. She could never cast herpatronus again. She lost that ability when Marvolo died. And even if she came back, the thing that was different with her wasn't her look. It was something else. With that, she looked at her sister. "Is that enough to prove you how much I love you?" she asked desperately.

"Morana" she said falling to her knees her head in her hands, "Morana" she sobbed her shoulders shaking this was worse then hell worse then anything her sister was damaged and it was all her fault.

Morana kneeled next to her and hugged her. "It's fine. It's not like I am the only one who cannot cast patronus, right?" she smiled at her sister. "I just wanted you to see how much you mean to me. How much I love you," she whispered to her. Truth was she was desperate of losing ability to cast patronus, but grief over her sister made it invisible to everyone. Except for Barty of course. He could see everything in her after all. His words helped her to get over this issue very quickly.

She cried holding her "I never meant to hurt you..."

"I know that," Morana replied with smile. She didn't care what happened. She was happy to have her sister back. Nothing else mattered. She took out even Marvolo's wand and handed it to her. "I kept it. Just in case," she said.

Marvolo hiccuped and pulled her sister into her arms "I've missed you so much..how long have I been gone?"

"A month. But it seemed like an eternity to me," Morana answered as she hugged her sister and than lied down on the cold groud, watching the stars. Marvolo must be happy to be able to see them again. "What it's like? Hell..." Morana asked. She knew she was going there. Just like all the people she was surrounded by.

Marvolo held her sister's head in her lap "I was gone ten years..." she said softly "its terrible...I was tortured all the time..i was in so much pain and when I wasn't being tortured I was forced to watch you all go on living"

"Good to know you are not going back alone than," Morana smiled. She wished it could be different, but with all she did and all she was about to do, there was no way else than to hell. And she decided to at least enjoy the ride.

She looked down at her watching her "You will go to heaven sister" she said softly "even after causing hell on earth"

Morana looked at her twin sister, hint of sadness in her voice. "No, I won't. Even if I could. And even if I didn't decide to follow you all, we both know there is one person in this World, that won't let me," she said and they both knew who she meant as she looked at her engagement ring. "But that's fine. I am okay with it that way. Heaven would be hell for me without you anyway," she added. It was truth. She loved Barty. She loved her sister. And there was no one else more important. Even if darkness Barty posessed scared her sometimes.
