With Regrets (All Students and Staff)

The Great Hall is cloaked in black and the only colours shown are slytherin green.

Dellen slowly walked to the center of the raised daise iin the great hall and looked out over the young faces of her students and those of wolfclaw.

"These times are growing dark...there is no denying it..and in this time we must keep our friends and family closer then we ever thought....it is with regret I must inform you...that Marvolo Eris Gaunt...Slytherin fourth year..took her own life late last night."

As the voices murmured through out the hall she continued "Those she left letters to will find the letters on there beds...we know that she had many friends..if you need anything the staff of hogwarts and wolfclaw is at your service."

Rabastan looked next to him at two empty spaces. As he expected, Morana wasn't there either. He was glad for it. For some reason he wasn't sure he would be able to look into her eyes just now. He was supposed to take care of Marvolo. He was supposed to keep her by his side. And all he did was that he let her ruin herself with that idiot Black.

Caleb stood there in silence as he watched everyone in the Great Hall. Marvolo. One of his good friends. Dead. It cut to his core and he shed tears for the first time in many years. The letter she had left for him had caused him great pain. She had thanked him for his friendship and loyalty. Was so happy that he had graduated and was leading the fight against muggles and such. It just was messed up. She was so young and yet she was gone. He could see Morana wasn't there along with the Grimm brothers. He saw a lot of people that he had known at school. He felt so cold and distant at the moment. It was so unreal. Like he was dreaming. How could one so strong fall so far? He sighed and stood in the shadows of the back waiting until it was over.

Luna stares at Dellen in disbelief. Fountains of tears flowed down her cheeks as the news hit her heart. Her best friend, the girl who was was like her sister...dead. She got up from the house table, visibly shaking. She stumbled out of the hall and leaned against the wall. She slid down it and wrapped her arms around her knees, crying into her arms. Her heart sunk, her mind became at a loss and she just didn't know what to do. She shook, cried and sadness claimed her in it grasp, pulling her further into oblivion. She needed to run, hide...anything to get away from the real world that hurt her so badly but she didn't move from that spot. She couldn't.

Kronos was stood alone in adark corer unknown to anyone. Except his brother whom was next to him. When these words were said. He felt empty. After eveything that hadhapened. He had never wanted this. He looked at Luna, Legion, Caleb, Rabastan then Dellen. It was silent. He had read the letter and it physicaly hurt him. He owed her his life. Kronos Grimm, he felt an Anger he had never known, she was very close to him and the fact she was dead cause grief and sadness. Even when his brothers died feeling never surfaced. She ment a lot to him. He stepped out of his shadowed corner and looked at her friends. Then at Sirius. He simply shook his head and he left. Followed by his brother.

Legion followed him out because he knew this had hit Kronos like a physical blow. He wated to see if he was alrght. He like Marvolo. She was good to Kronos and Legion had a debt to pay as she saved Kronos's life. Alas. The debt would never be paid.

Morgan sat, stunned, in silence, not looking at anyone at her house table. Marvolo was gone.... In her hands, she held the simple letter from her friend, folded neatly. All she wanted was for Marvolo to be happy, and here the letter told her the same thing. She lowered her head to her crossed arms and listened to the Headmistress speak followed by Professor Black forbidding access to the Black Lake. Morgan was numb. As silent tears began to fall down her cheeks from her bright eyes, she wondered if it was all worth it. The light inside her was back and she was happy, but she mourned for her like she would a sister. Marvolo had done so much for her, helped her, and now she was gone. She didn't know what to feel, but the one thing she did feel over anything else, was overwhelming sorrow for the loss of her friend.

Sirius had his head between his arms, laid on the table. To no surprise, tears fell down his cheeks. Sirius loved his fiance. Even if his love for another was stronger, his heart still sunk into a pool of depression. His hands trembled, as he felt immense regret. He felt the need to scream, for everyone to hear. He needed that girl. Even if only to stay at his side. He felt as if a dagger hit his heart, every time he thought about her death. He believed he lead her to leave him. As he did with so many people. Even if he tried to show his love for her. Even if he could never say she was the single most important thing to him, he could say he loved her more each day. Either in death or life, Sirius would continue to love her and cherish Marvolo. Every breath he had left in his life would show how he would always miss that exhilarating girl. Upon hearing his mother, Sirius clenched his fists. He would go to the black lake every time he felt like it. His wife-to-be vanished from his life in that place. He would visit the spot she left him as long as he was in Hogwarts. After his thoughts stopped running through his head, and his heart's beats began to go back to normal, Sirius left his table. He slowly slipped away. He wasn't in the mood to be bothered by anyone. Now, he could only ask for her forgiveness, for whatever ghastly thing he did. He had trashed the letter he had received already. Marvolo requested that Sirius forget her. But that was a request, he could never fulfill.
