Digging Up The Past - Part 3

Alastor set the files of Abraxas Malfoy apart, sighing slightly. As Divine entered his office, Alastor got up. He didn't remember giving him permission to simply enter his office like that. "Divine, next time, you will wait for my permission to enter my office!" He stated loudly. His wand always on his sleeve.

Thane grinned. "Opps. Now. Lets duel. Why not. Shall be fun." He grinned at Moody and had his wand in his hand. Ready to role.

Alastor grinned at the young man's proposal. But in the Ministry? He wasn't a fool. He knew something was definitely up. But, he couldn't refuse to make those kids learn who had the authority. His wand slid down to his hand, as he twirled it, hurling a confringo blast at Thane immediately. Still behind his desk, as if he needed to worry about his position.

Thane expected that. He threw up a protego and grinned. He replied with a Reducto, not aimed at him. The table, just beneath. The idea to flip it towards him.

Alastor chuckled as he understood Thane's pathetic idea. As the desk flipped towards him, Alastor simply flicked his wand. The desk hovered above him, letting his files fall onto the many open chests behind Alastor. With another fast wand movement, he hurled the desk at Thane, throwing another confringo in the same direction, followed by a fast, "Stupefy!"

Thane dived backwards out the door and hid round the corner. Then thought. He grinned and rounded the corner. He cast a confringio, then drew the wand of his second half brother. The one he killed. He pocketed it and then used Reducto at him. He walked to cover casting stupefy, Reducto and confringio in random patterns.

Thane was surprised by that. He looked at the wall and tapped it. He grinned. Then stepped back. "REDUCTO" a hole blast open in the wall into a old corridor. Thane called to Moody. "Lets step outside. Shall we?" Thane went through and turned. A confringio and reducto destroyed what was coming his way. He moved behind cover and awaited Moody.

Thane thought for a moment. Where is he....He grinned. He ran down the corridor and went outside. He grabbed some soil from a plant pot and then Threw it in the direction he reckoned Moody was. Then he aimed his wand up, he pictured pure darkness. Then made it happen. He then hid in the shadows.

OCC: Cole taught Kronos, Kronos taught Thane

Fool. Alastor thought. Pure darkness grew over him, as Moody simply stepped to the side. Was this kid really thinking he'd go down that easily? A small spot of the cloak disappeared for a brief moment, as Alastor pointed his wand at the ceiling. "Lumos....Maxima..." He whispered. Then, he pointed his wand at Thane. He cast the body bind curse, hiding his arm under the cloak yet again. He could hear the footsteps of Stephan. Avery surely knew something about this.

Thane had been stood where the body bind curse was cast moments before Thane spoke acendio, he was lifted above the spoke the spell to lower himself. From where he has seen the light, knowing this would most likely be his last spell Flipendo Tria. Aiming it where he saw the light come from.

Alastor smiled at Thane's attempt to put out the light. It worked, because Alastor switched gears. The flipendo dissipated, once it hit Alastor's new shield. As Thane was in the air, Alastor smiled even more. His cloak shrank with a flick of his wand, landing in his pocket, as Moody turned to Thane. He moved his wand in the air, in circles, as all the winds came together. He hurled the storm of wind towards Thane. With the spell he was using, dodging all that wind would be close to impossible. And Alastor was kind enough to see that a wall was behind Thane. If he hit it, the wind would do much less damage. Still, the storm wasn't gonna be nice to Thane. It'd cut and bruise him as much as it could. That, Alastor could not control. As the last piece of wind went against Thane, Alastor was stopped by Stephan just in time. "Enough Moody. He has learned the lesson!" Stephan said, waiting to see when he'd have to assist Thane. The kind held out enough. He was able to keep Moody busy for some minutes. That was good enough!

Thane had hit the wall and slid down. He got to his feet and smiled. "That was fun." he straightened his jacke, tie and shirt. Then reached in his pocket and reaveled a wand. "Yours I believe" He put the wand in his right hand in his pocket with the others.

Stephan took the wand, as Alastor lifted an eyebrow. "What the hell is this?" Moody asked only, as Stephan shook his head. "Nothing that concerns Moody. I simply wanted to see this kid's strength. He is Willow's Junior Assistant after all!" Stephan said, turning to Thane. Moody didn't like this. At all. "You will tell me what's going on..." Stephan nodded, with a smirk, and grabbing Thane. "Later." He said, disapparating and taking Thane along.

Disapperated with Stephan. He looked at him and grinned. "Seems I owe you one. But as expected. I failed. But you knew I would anyway."

*Stephan*


"I knew it was going to happen. So it's only fair that I take you to our lord. I wanted to see if you had guts. Not to worry, I shall take you to him soon enough!"

Thane smiled. "Thank you. Now, if you don't mind. I need to get back to work and fix my wand whilst I am at it." He smiled again and began to walk away.
