Angel walked over to the Black Lake, with Scarlett behind her," Oh I do hope I won't regret this," she muttered to herself.

Sitting under a tree near the black lake he sat, hands stuffed in his pockets as he gazed out over the horizon of the lake.

Scarlett gave Angel an encouraging smile, "You won't," she whispered to her, wondering shouldn't Angel be the one giving out the encouraging smiles. Scarlett trailed along side Angel as they made their way to Alex who sat quietly on the beach.

Angel nodded at Scarlett," I know I won't regret it and Rose if you want to leave for any reason , tell me. I'm awfully good at distractions"

Scarlett looked away, Why would she want to leave? Was there something wrong with the Gryffindor? she wondered silently as every step took them closer to the guy Scarlett been wanting to meet now for weeks.

Hearing the footsteps breaks him out of his listless state. Turning his head, he focused his visable eye on the two girls, the other eye still covered by the red leather eye patch.

" Hey Alex,' Angel yelled running up to the blonde haired boy.

He raised his hand and waved, "Hey." he said simply.

Scarlett's face broke out into a full out smile as the eye-patched Gryfinndor noticed Angel and her approaching him. Trailing also side as Angel greeted the boy, Scarlett blushed lightly, her eyes taking on a light shade of pink.

Angel grinned," Falling asleep in any more corridors, Alex"

He narrowed his visable eye at her. "No." he said flatly.

Angel smirked,Good," Angel smiled at Scarlett," Alex, have you met Rose yet?"

Scarlett eyed him, noticing every detail of his face and how his eyes glistened in the sunlight. Aww.. how cute? He fell asleep in the corridor, she thought innocent ringing in her mind.

"Briefly?" he suggested, glancing at Scarlett.

Scarlett smiled lightly, looking at the ground. "Hi," she waved slightly, looking up to meet his eye level.

Angel's smile turned into one of her I-know-something-you-don't-know smirks. " Well I just realized I forgot my wand in my dorm. Be right back," Angel yelled, leaving Scalett and Alex for introductions.

"Bye." he said after she left before looking over at Scarlett. "Hi." he said simply, looking her over, as if trying to sense a threat.

Scarlett glanced back to protest but Angel was already gone. Some friend she is, she mentally groaned, her eyes shifting from green to a dark violet. Scarlett noticed how Alex didn't really give any care to what just happen and greeted her with a "Hi". Scarlett's lips instantly formed a smile as she planned out how the conversation would probably go. "Hello," she greeted, plopping herself a few feet away from Alex.

Alex moved still watched her out of the corner of his eye as he stared out across the lake, "hey."

Angel quickly retrieved her wand from where she left it and hurried back to Scarlett and Alex," What are you doing for the summer, Alex?"" she asked, hoping to break the silence.

"Probably go back home..." he sighed.

Angel gazed into the water, feeling a silence cloak the trio.

Scarlett looked away, not really knowing how to reply to so many greetings in one conversation. Scarlett looked back at him, bringing her knees up to her chest. Tilting her head, Scarlett asked the question she been wondering all these weeks. "Do you remember me?"

He thought for a moment, and answered, "Not really... sorry." In all honesty, he really couldn't remember. So much of the homework he was having to do was taking up much of his time and with how few people he talked to... it kinda just meshed all together.

Scarlett looked out over the water, sighing, "Thought so," she muttered, under her breath. "So," she started fiddling with her hands, "Angel caught you sleeping in the corridors?" she asked with a soft laugh, her eyes changing to a dark green.
