Re: Getting Lost
Scarlett scoffed, "If you close both of your eyes. Heck, even that is bad," she commented her voice echoing through out the darkness, as she mutter a word to make her wand light up. Scarlett then followed Ginny's silhouette in the light her wand gave off as the endless narrow stairs went down in a spiral path.

Re: Getting Lost
Ginny walked for what seemed forever until she reached the end. Automatically, her hand went to the wall, in search of a light switch.

Re: Getting Lost
Ginny blushed, remembering that Hogwarts didn't use light switches. "Um, I was searching for a light switch." She said.

Re: Getting Lost
"It's a muggle thing. You would flick a switch and the light would come on." She explained to Angel.

Re: Getting Lost
Angel nodded, not grasping what a light switch was," I'll go in first," Angel suggested gesturing the the dark room.

Scarlett laughed, "It's okay, Ginny! I did that for the late five months until I got use to the fact wizards had magical wands," she explained, hoping her remark would encourage Ginny a little. "Okay, well, lights!" she called as the lights flickered on and twitched a bit.

Ginny shrugged. "It looks like a labratory..or an office." She said. "Oh look! That,s a love potion isn't it?" She said, pointing toward a potion.

Re: Getting Lost
Scarlett wondered around the office, the lights flickering on and off constantly giving the room a spooky feeling. There were metal selves placed along all sides of the room, covered in books of varies sizes all relating to some type of elixir or cure. "Did Salazar ever say he wanted eternal life, to live forever?" she questioned out loud as she picked up the nearest book and flipped through it, doing the same to the next fifteen that laid long side it.
Moving along, Scarlett trailed her fingers along the side of one of the laboratory tables that sat on the right side of the room. As for the other sat on the left side, on the metal dusty table, Scarlett spotted green liquids in closed bottles, hairs of different animals in jars, and floating hearts and lungs placed in water jars with labs. "Eww... check this out!" she called out, gesturing to her friends, "This is a troll's brain," she declared, reading the label that was placed on it. "Tiny, isn't it?" she commented, seeing that the brain was no smaller than her fist. "Oh, and this is a merperson's lungs!" she read off the label. She could tell that is was lungs from a merperson by the way its lungs looked. There were bluish-green fish scale occasionally popping up on its lungs and its lung were bigger than a normal humans. Being that they have to filter the water in order to breath.
"Oh, and this is the three-headed dogs' heart!" she stated, guessing since the label was faded. The heart looked like three hearts in one and if you looked closely it was still beating. "Eww.. gross!" Scarlett screamed, dropped the glass jar filled with water on the floor. The jar broke into many pieces as the hearts fell on top, causing a loud pounding noise to fill the room.

" Here," Angel said pointing her wand at the broken glass and muttering reparo.

Re: Getting Lost
Scarlett smiled, "Thanks," she thanked her, "How and why is the three-headed dogs' heart in a jar in a hidden lab?" she questioned, still dumbfounded by what just happened.

Re: Getting Lost
Angel shrugged," An ingredient for a potion," Angel guessed grazing her finger against the wall.

Re: Getting Lost
Ginny shivered. Who would do that? put a 3 headed dog heart in a jar? she thought. She looked at the other potions. There were many potions much more advance than she had known.

" I think this room must have belonged to Salazar Slytherin," Angel said pointing to a Slytherin emblem that was etched into the wall.

Re: Getting Lost
Ginny looked up and noticed Angel was right. "Do you think some of the magic in this room knows we aren't Slytherin?" She asked. Some magic was powerful enough to know. "Or who is a pureblood or who isn't?" She added. Magic could detect the blood status also.

Re: Getting Lost
Scarlett shrugged, "I don't know," she replied, looking around the room for signs that it knows. "But I'm pretty sure, Salazar Slytherin wouldn't mind if we weren't Slytherins because of he's secret fondness of the founder, Rowena Ravenclaw," she referred, "I think that's what the love potion was for. History states that she was fatally ill, but lengend has it that a broken heart was the cause of the illness. But see, if she happened to fall in love with a special Slytherin, her heart wouldn't be broken," she explained, thinking that her explanation was well explained. "But," Scarlett started, "His hate for Muggle-borns goes a long way and may be the reason why you and me both got the consequences of the room,"

Re: Getting Lost
Ginny nods. SHe wondered if there were more consequences to this room, as she and Rose were muggle borns.
