Getting Lost

Ginny was walking to her way to her Hufflepuff dorm. The stairs had been changing each time she got on them, so now she was lost. She thought she was in the 3rd floor corridor, but she wasn't sure. She was lost. Oh why are there moving stairs? she thought. She looked at the stairs, wondering if she should take them. They could lead her closer to her dorm, or they could lead her farther away and more lost than she already was.

Scarlett began her way up the Grand Staircase, hoping she wouldn’t run into anyone on the way. Today she felt pretty overwhelm with running from class to class and she really all but wanted to get lost or bullied by any year. Feeling the staircase began to change Scarlett held on tight as the stairs began to change to a path she never been on. "No, really! Not today," she shouted running up the stair to the new level. "Where could I been?" she wondered out loud as she spotted Ginny on the same floor. "Hey Ginny, do you have any idea, where we are?"

Ginny looked up, at hearing a familiar voice. "I think we're in the 3rd or 4th Floor Corridor." She said. She could never tell the difference of those to two corridors.

Scarlett sighed, actually happy to have a friend experience the same situation as her. "Have you ever been here?" she asked, walking over to her friend.

Angel wandered through Hogwarts, unaware about where she was going. Sighing she leaned back on the railing as the staircase changed direction, again." Hey Ginny, Hey Scar," she chirped when she saw two girls.

"No, have you?" She asked. Then she sees Angel, another of her friends. "Hi Angel." She greeted.

Scarlett shakes her head then turning to hear one of her friends voices greet Ginny and herself. "You too, Angel?" she sighed a sigh of relief, her eyes changing every color of emotion she experienced. "I guess, it was faith," she added, taking on her usual role of positive thinking. "Is anyone up for exploring?"

Angel smirked," I'm always ready for exploring!"

Ginny thought for a moment. "Sure." She said. SHe wanted to explore this place, maybe she wouldn't get lost next time.

Angel smiled" SO it's official, we're going exploring,"

Scarlett jumped cheerfully, despite her grey mood she felt at the moment. "Then we shall began!" she declared, linking arms with Ginny and Angel. Walking down the unoccupied hall, Scarlett tuned a corner randomly and came to a dead end with a door. "Shall we see what's inside?" she asked, steeping in front of the door excitedly.

Ginny smiled and walked down the hall with Rose and Angel. When they reached the dead end, she nodded. She was curious to what this door could contain.

Scarlett smiled nervously as she turned the door handle, half expecting the door to be strongly locked with a magic bidding. Unexpectingly, the mysterious door swing open with ease, revealing a silent room of darkness.

Ginny peered into the room. It was dark. She hesitated before entering. She wondered if Hogwarts had a light switch, like muggle schools did. It was very dark in here.

Angel stepped in and glanced behind her shoulders," Have you guys ever been in this part of the castle," she asked.

"Nope." Ginny said.

Angel nodded before taking another step inside," You guys coming?"

Scarlett nodded, "Of course!" she answered, following Angel into the dark room. Searching the walls for a light switch like Muggle use, Scarlett just decided to use magic to lighten the room. Waving her wand, twenty glassed chandeliers turned themselves on, revealing a path of white cover tables. "Mmm.. fancy," Scarlett commented while looking around the room. The room when filed with stacked chairs on all sides and a fireplace that didn't quite speak the tone of cozy to Scarlett very much. "What do you time this room was meant for?"

Ginny nods and steps in. SHe noticed Rose turned on the lights, and 20 chandliers came on. It was fancy. Another secret room? she wondered.

Angel glanced around," Maybe it was a ballroom,"

Scarlett nodded, "Maybe," she muttered under her breath while moving to view the broken glass on the floor. Hesitating slightly, Scarlett went to go put it up and observe the glass more closely but was burned by touch "Ouchies," she complained, holding her right hand with her left. "That’s hot!" she declared, examining the boiling burn and deciding to suck on it. "Don’t touch anything!" she cried, not wanting her friends to view the consequence up close and personal like she did. "Everything must be charmed or something," she explained quickly as she whimpered in pain silently. She was trying her best to hold back her tears but that burn really hurt. She didn’t quite want her friends to make the impression that she was a crybaby, at least not yet. For Scarlett was, what people would call a "huge crybaby".

Angel glanced at Scarlett's scrunched up face and the n at her burned hand," Should I try to heal it," Angel asked pulling out her wand.

Scarlett nodded her eyebrows knitting themselves together in attempt to not cry. "Please," she added in to make it a little more polite.

Ginny had been wandering around the room, when she noticed Rose had burnt her hand. She also noticed Rose seemed like she would cry. That must hurt.. she thought. Looking around she wondered if the other things were safe to touch. "Do you guys think it's safe to touch the other things?" She asked them. If the room burnt people, they might be able to touch or even sit down on chairs.

Scarlett winced for her hand seemed to be smoking at the moment. Nodding her head quickly, Scarlett explained the charm she thought might be on the room. "If there was a charm put on this room anything that could be touched other than the ceiling or the walls can't be touch or you will be burned," she explained, shaking her head slightly. "But that's what I don't understand why charm a ballroom?" she wondered out loud, but then thought, Unless the room possesses a hidden secret.
